Staff quarters @ISRO: ISRO employees are entitled for staff quarters which start from a 2-bhk for Sci/Engr-SC and get an entitlement for upgraded flats/rooms in accordance with changing designations (SD, SE, etc). Getting the quarters is subject to availability, determined by seniority and first come first serve basis. If the employee is not applying for quarters, he/she will get the HRA amount added in the salary which is a fixed percent ( depends on the rank of the city the centre is in, e.g. X-class, Y- class and Z-class) of basic pay.
