Here's a guy that had the perfect vision and perfectly executed it.
What I do like is the enthusiasm these people put into their cars. Everyone needs that in life. :)
Station wagons are the ultimate grocery getter. I still love them after restoring 2 when the kids were growing up.
I'm not a station wagon guy but that is badass !
I am a hard-core station wagon guy. This is great.
THANKS JARROD FOR SHARING YOUR LIFE TRAVELS HERE ON TH-cam.
We had a red woodie Ford Falcon wagon when I was little. I remember sitting on my dad’s lap and steering it. We named it Gurttie.
What a beauty!
I remember this wagon when it first aired and even after years and years of great content, this remains my favorite. I'm glad to see some of these really standout cars get a revival in feature form! Finger's crossed we'll all be able to safely return to sun on steel parked on grass soon again!
🤞
I had two of the Australian version of the Falcon Squire wagon. There were just over 1,000 of them made here. We didn't have model years, instead we had the XL, XM, and XP models. The XL looks the most similar to the American models and after that the Australian models and the '64 American Falcons diverged a lot in styling. The Australian wagons were slightly shorter than the American versions. I believe the rear overhang caused problems. The Squire and Futura were cancelled early into the XP model production to be replaced with the Fairmont. XP Squires are very rare and I don't think I've ever seen one. XL Squires are the most common by far and most people have never seen one of them.
Is that the Aussie Fish Shop Falcon?
@@CathodeRayNipplez I don't even know the Aussie Fish Shop. I sold my first one, manual, white with red interior and bad quarter panel and in average to poor condition but running and registered, in Melbourne, probably around 1990 to 1992. I sold my second one, also manual, white with red interior, and in above average condition, also running and registered, in Brisbane, probably around 1999 or 2000. One was sold to a guy who already had restored collectible mustangs, but I forget which. I had some NOS parts including one fibreglass piece. I still have very nice shop manual, parts manual, and sales brochures in storage.
I remember one black restomod XL at one of the big street machine meetups somewhere around 1986. I can't recall seeing another in Australia in person that had been restored.
I was briefly in contact with someone who had been high up in Ford Australia who apparently had a collection of at least one each XL, XM, and XP Squire in the mid '80s. He sent me some original publicity photo negatives that I had blown up to make a wall poster.
I actually think the Aussie XL had the nicest lines and proportions of all the early Falcons. I found the front fender and grill treatment a bit smoother and prettier than the US '63 which was the most similar to the XL. The '63 Sprint and the XL Futura and the XM coupe are also very nice. Too bad there wasn't an XL coupe.
Wow, beautiful wagon and a Falcon on top of it. Just Perfect !
My father had a white squire wagon, I learned to drive in that car many moons ago. What a nice mean green machine, love it !
Love those 60's Fords!
This is a good one for sure! Beautiful long roof wagon!
super cool = i remember the 1st time i saw one = in australia = white with wood side panels imitation , looked fantastic - 1960`s ! mum had a corner shop - saw lots of cars from that era !
Very very nice! I love that theres more and more people that are restoring wagons
Amazingly good taste in all the choices! LOVE that it’s drivable!
WOW!! , MAAAAD Props to Justin the Upholsterer...that is just amazing work Sir
Kia Kaha from Aotearoa/New Zealand❤
My grandfather took us kids to oceanside beach on the Santa Fe train and we got to the station in a ford falcon station wagon just like this year ! My favorite is still the 57 bel-air.
Absolutely remarkable, the color is perfect, great job all around.
"That's it!" green. 🙂
Wow, what a beautiful green color! I'm talking about the lawn 😁 The Falcon Squire is a knock-out! And I do love the green paint. I agree, the color on the Maverick was darker, more like an avocado green. Thank you for posting (re-posting?) this old video. It is still awesome to see. Thank you Dennis!
Perfect Green with that wood grain man!
It's beautiful. Great to see a project created by someone with good taste.
Wow......just wow
Should you ever have to get emotional over a car: This is it! Amazing from all angles.
Back in the ’70’s a friend of mine had a 1962(?) 2 door falcon wagon! It was yellow and had perfect lines.
This is a beautiful car, I wish he would’ve started it for us????
Take it to Jay Leno for his 'Leno's Garage' treatment.
I've had aout 40 cars and none were Ford's but jeez louize man this thing is beautiful!!
Man I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Great color too.
Wow. If you dream it, just do it. If this doesn’t inspire anybody then I’m thinking nothing probably will... what an artist and mechanic. Best mojo
That is a stunning functional work of art. A+
Awesome. Ive always liked wagons. When I was 16 my dad gave me a 70 BelAire 4 door. And he kept the 69 wagon. I really wanted the wagon. While I was in the notary he jumped the wagon. Always thought it would have been a great cruiser. But this one beyond amazing. But like the man said... "That's it."
I love station wagon's and this one is beautiful. Very nice !
have you seen that abandoned car dealership vid with all the pontiac's and Caddy wagons and junk?!
Very nice, love the color and the airbrushed wood molding.
Awsome,I love falcon,I had a wagon but nothing like that,truly a jem
What a beautiful car.
Such a cool car...one of kind.....would be proud to get the groceries in that wagon any day..👍
Great job Dennis and crew
Justin Stephens is the Kindig upholstery god! Figured I would give him a shout out! Truly one of the best if not the best! Watching him on the show he seems to really care about his work. Always giving 100%!!!!
Got my hobby sleeper wagon I picked up late last summer. 04' Passat 1.8T 4motion 5speed wagon. It's called "The Granny Sleeper". Kinda based off me creating it into a sleeper and it came with Midnight Blue Metallic.
Lots of greenstamps went into that green car
Love the wagon!!!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Dude! @1:23 That Falcon airbrushed in the woodgrain paint! Mind! Blown!
Great on all levels. One thing for sure when you are at a show you will be the only one there. You could have taken the easy way out with a belly-button engine but took the road less traveled and that put it over the top. Hats off.
Speaking of the color, my dad bought abrand new 1960 Falcon two door Sedan in November of 1959. His car was Meadow Vale Grean. It appears to me the green on this car in the video is an exact match to the color of my dad's car.
Wow !!!
Now that's SWEET !!!
Always wanted a Falcon 289 Ranchero ....
Dennis, I've got a special place for a "woodie" whether it's a wagon or a sedan delivery! Falcons are very cool anyway as street rods!
That’s the guy that does Dave Kindig’s interiors.
Yes sir Justin is the man! Love when he's on the show!
was wondering if it is same guy. interesting.

That man is super talented with design & execution.
A Dream come true! Almost ,when I read Roush 527, I thought I was going to see one of his Aluminum 526 cu.in. F.E 's should have payed a little more attention to what I was reading, but, that small block is more than adequate.
Makes me want to own a station wagon!
Wow; I’m not a huge fan of Fords, or Falcons. But wow that is beautiful. Exceptional build.
Amazing!..a very nice restomod, if there ever was one!...& Dennis' favorite color to boot!!
I just couldn't pass this one by!
Nicest falcon i ever seen and damn the care is 4 years younger than me
you obviously havent seen our australian falcons
I LOVE this car!
Outstanding build!
Always been a wagon guy but was worried it was way too low then heard where it had air suspension installed. Wagons have become a lot more valuable since most of the interesting ones were crushed back in the 1970's.
I never missed my old wagons till now. I had a 67 Olds custom cruiser. And a 72 Buick Estate wagon. Neither were rare at the time i tried to break them every day.
Beautiful woody wagon...dammm
Stunning!
Not much of a Ford Guy but this is a stunning build well done Gentlemen
If you're not a Ford guy , you sir have been missing out. And don't no any better....
@@jimolson8424 Well Sire your a little harsh not knowing a thing about me. I own a Ford and am looking for 49/50 Ford Truck to put a Coyote in.
Nice episode. Falcon's are fun : -)
Yes they are!
Sweet ride
What a beautiful car. And it has seat belts. There were not any seat belts in any Falcon that I have ever been in.
Very nice ride.
Outstanding car.
❤️ à king on the roads
That's It! I Love It!!!
Perfection!
Nice wagon!
That's it Green.... beauty
On the interior, he said that it is not, but he wanted it to look stock. It is obvious that it isn't stock. It doesn't look at all stock and too many things on the dash were changed. I know because I am quite familiar with Falcons. My dad, uncle, and two neighbors bought Falcons brand new in the 1960 model year. One of the neighbor's car was a wagon. My uncle bought a 60' wagon used in 68. I bought a 63' Convertible for my first car in 1969.after I wore out the convertible in 1973 I bought a 1968 Falcon. I had a friend in high school that had a 61'. The tail lights on the video car look more like the tail light on the 60 and 61 models, then on my 63, which had back up lights. I will admit that I am not sure if the backup lights were standard or optional, but I don't recall seeing a 63 without them. The backup lights were in the center of rear lights.
WOW THAT IS GREAT, I would get my groceries in it,😎
Absolutely fantastic car!
Stunning car
Not many people give love to the Falcon.
Ya gotta love it!
I sure do!
So cool.
Wow is right, its beautiful... well done !!! Jerrod looks the same as he did 15 years ago when we talked and got his autograph up in Reno😜 Damn... it might of been 20 yrs ago, scratching head 🤔
Sweeeeeeeeet ride 😎
Man that car is the same colour as the hemp oil I use everyday--It's Hemp oil green
Beautiful car man! Had a bone stock generic Falcoln 144 ci wagon back in the day. Loved that car but hated the (lack of) performance.
Spectacular.
The car guy in me: that’s a beautiful car
The dad in me: that grass is amazing
great car
Early Mustangs are just Falcons underneath.
Put the two together and you got a Pegasus
Well the original mustangs were designed for the Secretary's.
Wasn't even a muscle car.
Pretty much.........
@@davidfindley1588 not until Carroll Shelby came into the game.........
@@radioguy1620 Sure there is Bud
I like that green
Me too!
I love this car love from Pakistan
BEAUTIFUL CAR DUDE . I LOVE IT
Justin at J&S upholstery is the one Dave Kindig uses!
Woody Wagons are cool
Now, about that '62 turquoise Corvette in the background ....😎.....
What a perfect car !!! I would rather own that then a lambo hands down
Me too!
Nice! Nicer with black paint behind the grille
That’s one beautiful motor car 🍏
nice old ford
that colour is so close to the holden commodore colour called hot house green
Bellezaaaa!!!!
I remember the vinyl fake wood -- my first car was a 1976 Pinto Squire wagon. The vinyl did not age well.
Hell yeah brother!
As Jay has noted (and it's funnier, yet, because he's Always doing the same.!..), "My Classic Car" should be re-titled as "That Dude's Classic Car I WANT!'.. And, as my Proof of Concept; Here ya have Two Stoked Dudes, both stoked that the car got put on Video! But, the guy w/the mustache doesn't own it. LOL Great Falcon, BTW! When I was in Argentina a decade ago, I was Astounded to see 'brand new' Falcon (kinda like the '69 version, but, in truth, closer to the Aussie Falcon) Taxis Everywhere. So, Go South, really-far-South, if you want a fresh-ish Falcon..
Sure wish I did tho!
Very Cool! I would have liked to have seen the interior better. Why didn't you open the door. Sure glad that you had him open the hood!
Won't see this in Hot Nod or Car Crap magazines. What type of wheel's? Thanks Dennis!!
SWEET
