3 Things: 1) Congrats to Michael McDowell! I've been a long time fan of his and this is awesome to see him finally get his first win after all of his years of struggling to stay in the sport, including his Start-and-park years (he is the all-time "leader" in last places finishes in the Cup Series) 2) I had no idea Clayton Hughes was McDowell's spotter. Cool stuff there. 3) I love all the little details that the editor put into this video. One that I particularly love is the little extra pop they put in at 5:58 when Brad's tire popped on the catch-fence. I've re-watched that moment about a dozen times now. Well done and Thank You!
Logano coming to congratulate him in Victory Lane was cool, especially since they all wrecked there at the end and Joey was part of it. Glad they all know it was just a racing deal.
It wasn't Bell that caused the wreck! 18 was shoving Bell so hard his back tires were up off the ground! Kind of hard to control a car with half the wheels not in contact Want someone to blame blame the 18

The fact that this race (afterwards) was able to make me want to give Brad Keselowski a hug, when normally I can't stand him. Quit messing with my emotions, NASCAR! Lmao
There's a lot going on with that final lap crash: - McDowell gets a huge push from Elliott, detaches, and then applies all that energy to Keselowski bumper - Keselowski, knowing how good of a blocker his teammate is, waits until the last second to pass Logano - as Keselowski starts to pass, Logano, reacts late by dropping down slightly, possibly forcing a bigger move out of Keselowski - I'm guessing McDowell would have stayed on Keselowski bumper to also pass Logano, but he's unable to react to Keselowski's move in time (spotter probably dropped the ball and didn't tell him how fast they were closing on Logano) - McDowell doesn't appear to be making contact with Keselowski as the pass is being made, but the sudden change in air pressure, and where it was being applied to Keselowski's bumper, could have created a problem. So Logano could have been blocking, Keselowski could have lost control, McDowell's late reaction could have triggered the wreck, or maybe it was a little of everything. How there are so few replay angles on the last lap of the Daytona 500 will remain baffling to me though.
