- Are the bulbs inside of your climate display out? Well did you know they can be replaced? While some disassembly is required to get to them, they are small nano wedge bulbs that are still sold and can be replaced. LED conversion is also possible but that we will leave for another video.

Good timing :) was just about to start changing my bulbs cuz I had a few out, good to know that there’s different part numbers for the bulbs!

I used a nice flat head and magnetic antenna to pull out, and drop back in the correct way.

How is it that so many people have fried the system?? Makes me hesitant to do this, but looks so easy. ****(Update I did change the lights bulbs and it was super easy and had no troubles)
I wouldn't touch it. Just get the Tesla style radio that's out for the TL. It controls the HVAC, navigation and radio.
Do you mind sharing where you got the lights from and what are they called? I didn't even know my lights were not working until I drove them in night, which I never do.
@@StrifeHale I bought from an Acura dealer online. You can find an schematic to identify the bulb/part number. I can’t remember exactly but I got something like 6 bulbs (3 types)

Hey so I replaced these bulbs and I put everything back together but the AUDIO button doesn’t work so I can’t change the XM, DISC,FM,AUX like I used to before. Any ideas for the 2008 Acura tl type s? The navigation works and I can zoom in and all that
Hi I have a 2006 tl and i changed all the bulbs around the nav screen and they still dont work but I get a quick flash if i turn on my headlights but they dont stay on just one quick flash when i turn on the headlights the only ones that work are the defog and dash vent lights thats it

Been needing this. Now if I can only get the solution to my parasitic draw which isn't the hfl I keep getting the low voltage and I replace the alternator and if that's not the problem then I'm hoping it's the charging system but I don't know I've also got to figure out what's wrong with my HIDs why they're not as bright as they should I bought two balances they weren't OEM but I definitely need to see why the only reason I can see at night it's cuz of my LED fogs that mean the LED DRL is that I have make it easy to see me but I can't see where the s*** if I turn the fog lights off but I still love my 07 Type-S and only has 83,000 miles but the person who had it before me just bought it and drove it and never maintained it just change the transmission oil and it was almost the color of the engine oil SMH but thanks for the video I just did the interior LED conversion like my old base model had now I'm going to do the stage 3 exhaust and do the resonator and 3rd cat delete but I want to fix the lights on the shifter column but it's a b**** I heard and also the ambient red lights for the floorboards aren't as bright as they should be and I want to change those two but don't know how to ..sorry for the rant.
Man, I absolutely hate the red in my Type-S. I am looking forward to changing these lights. I wouldn't mind the red so much, but it kills the interior I'm creating. It won't mesh, it must go.
How did u get the red background on the navigation
It's in your settings in the Navi system.
I would like to know where the correct bulbs go. Do you have a diagram or happen to know what part number corresponds with the bulb number shown in the diagram?

On engine bay fuse box its a 10 amp fuse With the name "small light"
None of my lights work. No door button lights, steering wheel lights, HVAC lights, navi lights, radio lights, shifter lights, console storage light. The only things that lights up in my car is the instrument cluster, the top display bar and navi screen.
Same. Poor maintenance from my old car owners.
Update: my problem was the fuse for small bulbs. #4 fuse if I remember correctly.
@@catfisher420 Do you remember where you found that fuse? I know there's like 3 different locations like under the hood, under the steering wheel and then the passenger side. I might check my fuses too because I have no lights on the steering and the whole climate control/radio system.
@@StrifeHale under the hood. It is the mini fuse in the middle of the line of mini's. It's the 10amp fuse that is between the two 25amp fuses
