I remember the earthquake. I was about 5. Our house ( just outside Babakin) had some minor damage. The painter that came to finish off the repairs happened to be Italian and taught mother to make spag bol. I still fairly much make it the same way now. I remember being absolutely terrified of driving over the fault contour😃.

It must of been scary at 40 seconds 6.9 scale, the bit I filmed looked like it had been levelled a bit but still visible, the baby was lucky wasn't it.

Love your videos.....Very nostalgic for me having grown up in the wheatbelt. Just for your info, Totadgin is pronounced 'Toe-tadgin'.

Great photography. Interesting around those back roads. The Indian Pacific carries cars( only Perth- Adelaide section) must not have been any ticketed on that day. Happy anniversary lakeside! I'll bet that year feels like it went quick.

It sure has gone quickly, some places feel long ago and some feel more recent even when they before the other.
