Her fainting during the enchantix training wasn't problematic, an uncomplete transformation is probably harder to master. At least for one time she was the weakest of the group. It's just sad that she was a nice character at the start and that they wrote her like that after.
Yeah I was going based off memory with that one so I might’ve gotten it wrong I just remembered being annoyed as a kid because we didn’t get to see Stella perform hers (she was my favorite as a kid)

The power needed to go from slowing someone down, to sending them miles away is ridiculous. Sure she has an advantage by being the dragon flame fairy, yet the fact she couldn't achieve a normal enchantix and had to deal with an uncomplete one made her weak. Once again, if they followed all the small details they put, it'd be more visible. But it was probably a bit hard for them to keep her main character status like that. I find the end of the season lazy and rushed as possible tbh.

It’s ridiculous how the writers made Bloom both The Most Powerful Fairy Ever and the typical, cliche damsel in distress. That way depending on the episode and scenario she could ALWAYS be the centre of attention no matter what. Whether it was defeating the bad guys, (or having the other fairies struggle without her there and then literally saying they can’t do it without her). Or having her dramatically faint/fall/knocked unconscious so everybody is worrying about her nonstop! 🙄🙄🙄
I don’t like Roxy either to be honest, I just don’t like any of the seasons after the 3rd. But I feel like Tecna and Flora definitely deserved more plot and focus. Tecna is my favorite besides Stella. And Stella has more personality than Bloom, I wish she’d have interacted more with her other friends instead of Bloom

It’s so weird that Musa never gets many singing roles when she is the fairy of MUSIC. While Bloom is singing everything instead of the FREAKING FAIRY OF MUSIC. Musa was my favorite fairy too :(
But she was always so dramatic? She's 16 after all. Like when she learned she was adopted, or when she discovered Diaspro and Sky's relationship, or when she didn't have a dress for a dance and acted like it's a big deal, or when she sort of had some beef with Tecna when Stella got kidnapped by the trix and Darcy disguised herself as Stella, or when she forced herself into an incomplete enchantix just to beat valtor. She became calm and mature in season 4 only, then they reversed that in seasons 5 onwards and the movies. At least that's what I think. But I like her so I don't mind.

@@user-bx8sj6qm3w Oh you're definitely right- she was always the de facto leader of the Winx, but she always came off dramatic and immature in earlier seasons, because as you said, she was high school age, happens to the best of us. By the time Season 4 came, she was I'd say 20, she was definitely more mature and took on the leadership role more seriously because they had a mission to complete, not just to graduate from Alfea or defeat the villain of the season type of thing. The whole point of season 5 was that it was a soft reboot done by Rainbow and Nickelodeon, to make the Winx essentially 16 again so they can keep making season after season, that's why they all had a character development reset, and practically reverted back to their 16 year old selves. It's so sad, but that's what we got unfortunately. It's why they came back to Alfea, not even as teacher's assistants, but as students who freeloaded from Alfea. At least in Season 4 they were trying to find jobs (Must getting an album contract, Love & Pet Shop), Season 5 pushed them back to Alfea and basically forgot about their business or that they were grown ass women.
Most of these are unfair because it's just the writers being bad at their job rather than her doing something wrong on purpose. Minus the avalon stuff that was weird lmao, but some think she was being groomed and he was a bad guy in reality (not real avalon) and I tend to agree. It probably was part of darkar's plan. Also the fainting in enchantix training thing is due to her incomplete enchantix so it actually makes sense. But I agree the transformation with only her saying the line is unfair. I don't mind bloomix though because I like the design lol, and the stupid song grew on me eventually. Power wise and the way theh gained it was lame though, and I think naming it after the dragon flame would've been nice too, but some people like to think it's called bloomix because the girls "bloom" into their powers. (Ignoring the inconsistency of the whole can powers be stolen/taken away from someone or not thing)
Since I was the one who suggested the training scene I’m just going to say I was going based off memory because I had forgotten most of it. Just started rewatching Winx and I’m still on the first season I just remembered being a kid watching that scene and being annoyed that we didn’t get to see Stella train (because she was my favorite) so it was more for my inner child

I remember seeing Bloom for the first time as a kid in an old notebook my mom gave me to because I was playing doctor and wanted something to take notes for my "patients". I saw this red haired fairy staring at your soul as the cover and immediately went to my mom and borrowed another old notebook from her. She asked me why and I told her that I wasn't really sure why but I just didn't like the way she stared at me in the notebook's cover 😭
I admit her ans sky's relationship is very nauseating. I wish he'd die for real because he's useless and annoying and has 0 personality of his own and 0 side plotlines that aren't bloom related. Even in magical adventure where we get some backstory about his dad and eraklyon's role in the history of the magical universe it's all tied to the Domion royal family and the ancestral witches and Bloom. And it's sad because the movies are the only time he makes decisions and takes initiatives even if it's Bloom centered. But this can be said about all the specialists tbh, they all exist as the love interests so they're never properly developed (except riven that one time but they undid all of that). Nabu was the only good boyfriend and interesting character who was strong and capable and on par with the winx, because he was a wizard and not a boring powerless specialist. And ofcourse they killed him off 🗿 Sorry for the rant lmao

Here's my opinion. I liked Bloom better in Seasons 1 to 3 and in "Secret of the Lost Kingdom." Yes, she got 90% of the screentime in Season 1, but that's mostly because she had to find out more about her origins. In fact, Season 2 was the season that Bloom got the least screentime because all of the better characters got a chance to shine (especially Aisha. She's a queen), and that's what made Season 2 so great. And what was amazing about Season 3 is how most of the Winx girls have come so far, and to be honest, I kinda liked the fact that Bloom's Enchantix was incomplete because Domino was still destroyed and she didn't really make a sacrifice, so she had to keep pushing forward until the end of "The Secret of the Lost Kingdom." I only wish that Bloom got her Enchantix by saving someone on Earth because Earth is her home too. Bloom only got a lot of screentime in Seasons 1 to 3 for pretty good reasons. But unfortunately, it was only in Seasons 4 to 8 when she started to become annoying. She complained about Sky too much, she became the leader of the Winx band even though it was supposed to be Musa, and she defeated most of the villains even though one of the Winx girls could have done it. For example, near the end of Season 5, Tritannus could have stolen Bloom's powers instead of Aisha's because, remember this; Bloom is THE MOST POWERFUL FAIRY IN THE MAGIC DIMENSION, and Aisha could have defeated Tritannus since he was taking over Andros, even though he's Aisha's OWN COUSIN, and Season 5 was mostly her time to shine, BUT NO. It obviously had to be Bloom defeating Tritannus because SHE'S THE MAIN PROTAGONIST. So yeah. I'd say that Bloom was a good character in Seasons 1 to 3, and pretty bad in Seasons 4 to 8. *(However, I will admit, WHY THE HECK DOES SHE KEEP FAINTING DRAMATICALLY?!)*

6:28 that pose looked weird to me when I first saw this transformation. I guess I got used to it, but I still don't get what the right hand is doing stretched to the side like that. It's a bit similar to Bloom's Magic Winx pose, but that one made more sense because her hand was on her thigh.

But the tritanus thing was fair imo because he imprisoned her sister who helped her countless times (even though daphne is strong enough to beat his and the trix's asses but the writers nerfed the fuck out of her), while he wasn't posing a threat on a family member of Aisha's afaik (ofcourse he was a danger to andros and the royal family though, but he didn't kidnap or imprison any of them) The bloom singing thing isn't new. Been there since season 4, but what bothers me fr is how they changed the girls talents/hobbies throughout the series. Originally Bloom was an artist and liked to draw so idk where did the singing thing come from, they should've made her the album art designer for the winx but then she won't be included on the actual official album art I think so that's why they made her the singer. Stella was a fashion designer, Flora was a....florist/gardner, Musa is obviously a musician and singer and producer and performer etc. And tecna is an inventor and Aisha is an athlete and dancer. The official website sites their talents as totally different things, Bloom's hobby is cooking, since when???? Stella's is shopping which is fair I guess but fashion designer is more interesting, Flora's wasn't changed hopefully but I think the potion making stuff were removed?, Aisha's dancing is removed as well :(.
Growing up is realising that Sky x Bloom is a toxic ship and that they both shouldn't be together, both of them have pretty much cheated on each other and Bloom acts obsessive with Sky and gets jealous and possessive when a girl glances at Sky which isn't healthy.
I always felt like Aisha is the type of girl everybody likes because she is selfless and careful and friendly and has really good will. However Bloom is very similar to the type of girls who try to get all the attention and take down the other girls who just act normal. Like, Bloom is the pick me girl and Aisha is the real "one of the boys" girl.
Hey, one thing I always like to point out about Bloomix (kind of defending) is because that transformation is not all about Bloom being the center of the show, can kinda be.. well, but instead I prefer thinking is about the girls blooming like flowers, that's why they get in such strange tests, they bloom with each other to understand and co-operate better. One bad side is how Faragonda explained about it, focusing only in the Dragon Flame. 💀

Also can we talk about how Aisha was done dirty in movie 3 she barely has any lines in the entire movie, she doesn't get any conflict with Tritanus HER COUSIN, her voice is terrible (this isn't a problem specific to Aisha or specific to this movie, everyone's voices are bad in the dubbing brothers dub+ why are dubbing brothers obsessed with giving Aisha this terrible western accent?), in the scene where the girls show off their powers to the Alfea students all of the other girls get to show their powers in intresting ways but Aisha only gets make butterflies which shortly after get turned into a dragon by BLOOM (Bloom stop sabotaging Aisha) and the icing on the cake the way they modeled her hair looks awful (again not an Aisha specific problem, everyone's hair looks bad in the 3D animation of seasons 5-6 and movie 3 but I feel like Aisha's hair looked especaily bad in movie 3) Sorry for this long rant😅 and as always 10/10 video

Going off memory so I could be wrong but the girls dont need to say their transformation name for it to happen. So sidelining Musa when her voice was stolen was nonsense. Cuz back in S3 when the Winx were helping Stella stop her father (who was being controlled by Cassandra) from marrying Cassandra, Stella confronts her and Chimera and she says something like "I see you're all ready to take my place Chimera, but I'm afraid you and your sceptre will never be up to the task" and then she transformed into Enchantix, but she never said "Stella Enchantix!" Or anything like that. She just gathered her energy and transformed, so why couldn't Musa do the same in that situation😐

Her fainting during the enchantix training wasn't problematic, an uncomplete transformation is probably harder to master. At least for one time she was the weakest of the group. It's just sad that she was a nice character at the start and that they wrote her like that after.

Sure she has an advantage by being the dragon flame fairy, yet the fact she couldn't achieve a normal enchantix and had to deal with an uncomplete one made her weak. Once again, if they followed all the small details they put, it'd be more visible. But it was probably a bit hard for them to keep her main character status like that. I find the end of the season lazy and rushed as possible tbh.

Like when she learned she was adopted, or when she discovered Diaspro and Sky's relationship, or when she didn't have a dress for a dance and acted like it's a big deal, or when she sort of had some beef with Tecna when Stella got kidnapped by the trix and Darcy disguised herself as Stella, or when she forced herself into an incomplete enchantix just to beat valtor. She became calm and mature in season 4 only, then they reversed that in seasons 5 onwards and the movies. At least that's what I think. But I like her so I don't mind.

@@user-bx8sj6qm3w Oh you're definitely right- she was always the de facto leader of the Winx, but she always came off dramatic and immature in earlier seasons, because as you said, she was high school age, happens to the best of us. By the time Season 4 came, she was I'd say 20, she was definitely more mature and took on the leadership role more seriously because they had a mission to complete, not just to graduate from Alfea or defeat the villain of the season type of thing.
The whole point of season 5 was that it was a soft reboot done by Rainbow and Nickelodeon, to make the Winx essentially 16 again so they can keep making season after season, that's why they all had a character development reset, and practically reverted back to their 16 year old selves. It's so sad, but that's what we got unfortunately. It's why they came back to Alfea, not even as teacher's assistants, but as students who freeloaded from Alfea. At least in Season 4 they were trying to find jobs (Must getting an album contract, Love & Pet Shop), Season 5 pushed them back to Alfea and basically forgot about their business or that they were grown ass women.
Most of these are unfair because it's just the writers being bad at their job rather than her doing something wrong on purpose. Minus the avalon stuff that was weird lmao, but some think she was being groomed and he was a bad guy in reality (not real avalon) and I tend to agree. It probably was part of darkar's plan.
Also the fainting in enchantix training thing is due to her incomplete enchantix so it actually makes sense.
But I agree the transformation with only her saying the line is unfair. I don't mind bloomix though because I like the design lol, and the stupid song grew on me eventually. Power wise and the way theh gained it was lame though, and I think naming it after the dragon flame would've been nice too, but some people like to think it's called bloomix because the girls "bloom" into their powers. (Ignoring the inconsistency of the whole can powers be stolen/taken away from someone or not thing)

I admit her ans sky's relationship is very nauseating. I wish he'd die for real because he's useless and annoying and has 0 personality of his own and 0 side plotlines that aren't bloom related. Even in magical adventure where we get some backstory about his dad and eraklyon's role in the history of the magical universe it's all tied to the Domion royal family and the ancestral witches and Bloom. And it's sad because the movies are the only time he makes decisions and takes initiatives even if it's Bloom centered. But this can be said about all the specialists tbh, they all exist as the love interests so they're never properly developed (except riven that one time but they undid all of that). Nabu was the only good boyfriend and interesting character who was strong and capable and on par with the winx, because he was a wizard and not a boring powerless specialist. And ofcourse they killed him off 🗿

Here's my opinion. I liked Bloom better in Seasons 1 to 3 and in "Secret of the Lost Kingdom." Yes, she got 90% of the screentime in Season 1, but that's mostly because she had to find out more about her origins.
In fact, Season 2 was the season that Bloom got the least screentime because all of the better characters got a chance to shine (especially Aisha. She's a queen), and that's what made Season 2 so great.
And what was amazing about Season 3 is how most of the Winx girls have come so far, and to be honest, I kinda liked the fact that Bloom's Enchantix was incomplete because Domino was still destroyed and she didn't really make a sacrifice, so she had to keep pushing forward until the end of "The Secret of the Lost Kingdom." I only wish that Bloom got her Enchantix by saving someone on Earth because Earth is her home too. Bloom only got a lot of screentime in Seasons 1 to 3 for pretty good reasons.
But unfortunately, it was only in Seasons 4 to 8 when she started to become annoying. She complained about Sky too much, she became the leader of the Winx band even though it was supposed to be Musa, and she defeated most of the villains even though one of the Winx girls could have done it. For example, near the end of Season 5, Tritannus could have stolen Bloom's powers instead of Aisha's because, remember this; Bloom is THE MOST POWERFUL FAIRY IN THE MAGIC DIMENSION, and Aisha could have defeated Tritannus since he was taking over Andros, even though he's Aisha's OWN COUSIN, and Season 5 was mostly her time to shine, BUT NO. It obviously had to be Bloom defeating Tritannus because SHE'S THE MAIN PROTAGONIST.
So yeah. I'd say that Bloom was a good character in Seasons 1 to 3, and pretty bad in Seasons 4 to 8.

The bloom singing thing isn't new. Been there since season 4, but what bothers me fr is how they changed the girls talents/hobbies throughout the series. Originally Bloom was an artist and liked to draw so idk where did the singing thing come from, they should've made her the album art designer for the winx but then she won't be included on the actual official album art I think so that's why they made her the singer. Stella was a fashion designer, Flora was a....florist/gardner, Musa is obviously a musician and singer and producer and performer etc. And tecna is an inventor and Aisha is an athlete and dancer. The official website sites their talents as totally different things, Bloom's hobby is cooking, since when???? Stella's is shopping which is fair I guess but fashion designer is more interesting, Flora's wasn't changed hopefully but I think the potion making stuff were removed?, Aisha's dancing is removed as well :(.
Growing up is realising that Sky x Bloom is a toxic ship and that they both shouldn't be together, both of them have pretty much cheated on each other and Bloom acts obsessive with Sky and gets jealous and possessive when a girl glances at Sky which isn't healthy.
I always felt like Aisha is the type of girl everybody likes because she is selfless and careful and friendly and has really good will. However Bloom is very similar to the type of girls who try to get all the attention and take down the other girls who just act normal. Like, Bloom is the pick me girl and Aisha is the real "one of the boys" girl.

Also can we talk about how Aisha was done dirty in movie 3 she barely has any lines in the entire movie, she doesn't get any conflict with Tritanus HER COUSIN, her voice is terrible (this isn't a problem specific to Aisha or specific to this movie, everyone's voices are bad in the dubbing brothers dub+ why are dubbing brothers obsessed with giving Aisha this terrible western accent?), in the scene where the girls show off their powers to the Alfea students all of the other girls get to show their powers in intresting ways but Aisha only gets make butterflies which shortly after get turned into a dragon by BLOOM (Bloom stop sabotaging Aisha) and the icing on the cake the way they modeled her hair looks awful (again not an Aisha specific problem, everyone's hair looks bad in the 3D animation of seasons 5-6 and movie 3 but I feel like Aisha's hair looked especaily bad in movie 3)

Cuz back in S3 when the Winx were helping Stella stop her father (who was being controlled by Cassandra) from marrying Cassandra, Stella confronts her and Chimera and she says something like "I see you're all ready to take my place Chimera, but I'm afraid you and your sceptre will never be up to the task" and then she transformed into Enchantix, but she never said "Stella Enchantix!" Or anything like that. She just gathered her energy and transformed, so why couldn't Musa do the same in that situation😐
I knew they could transform without their voices I just couldn't remember the scenes.

Tbh the Bloomix transformation is one of my favorites, but not because it's Bloom centered. It's because THEY WERE ACTUALY WEARING PANTS! And they also look pretty when they're in the Bloomix transformation.
