I pretty much always do that for any sim that doesn't have straight hair. My mother has really pretty curls and I didn't get any :( My hair is thin and flat and won't hold any shape at all so now I live vicariously through my sims

My personal theory is she went to horse camp as a kid (thus she has the horse shirt she wears to bed sometimes), but her horse got spooked and she got thrown off, and the instructor yelled at her for not wanting to get back on, and all the horse girls looked down on her, so now she's scared of horses and strongly dislikes anything country-esque in style. 😅

yay! i love watching cas videos, even though most people make different choices (style wise) than me, that's what makes it interesting. cas is honestly my favorite part of the sims since i have a huge special interest in fashion (especially alternative masculine styles) and love putting together the sims' virtual outfits lol

I think the fact that she doesn’t play with cc gives her so much more room to actually explore the pack items which I feel like a lot is us aren’t good at 😭😭
kayla once said on live (yes, she does live on twitch) that she doesn't make many CAS videos/content, because sims are representations of humans, so you're basically making a human look, and people tend to be pretty mean about appearances, things like body hair, different noses, body shapes, and a million other things that people use to be mean. she's totally right about that, i found it very interesting n cool how she didn't talk much about the appearance of the sim she created, like body shape, skin color, hair, eye color, among other things that people tend to complain about and obviously, the fact that she thinks she is bad at CAS, but i disagree on that! she makes very beautiful sims and i love putting them in my save and i love her outfit choices!

yes, DHD still has bugs - if you don't have a cafe lot placed, for example, and take a cafe reno gig, then you're softlocked until you cancel the gig or time runs out. But other than that, klepto designers making homes only out of stolen goods or getring rich only from stolen goods (I cheat away the gig payout or cancel the job) is SUPER FUN

I feel like all the piercings in the sims are so oversized, Sims team we don’t want facial piercings that are the size of the earrings in the game! The only one I find myself liking is the two nostril piercings and septum combo from the Urban Homage kit. I think it’s because they collaborated with custom content creator that they made it a bit more realistic while also keeping it in the sims style.

I played dream home decorator briefly once but had my sims switch careers cause that wasn't the path I wanted for her. I might try it again. Also, I LOVE Cas. I spend hours there usually lol. Sometimes I just like to create sims instead of playing
Bull Terriers are such a misunderstood breed, it's lovely seeing one get some rep in the video! A lot of people, sadly, still associate them with criminals - especially violent criminals - because they were favoured for a long time by thugs who thought they looked "hard" with a couple of abused Bull Terriers straining to get away from the person that abused them. It's the same problem that Pit Bulls have now, and just like Pitties, the Bull Terrier is a fantastically gentle, loving, small family dog, that all too often languishes in rescue centres because of the unfair bad reputation. So thank you Simsie for letting Rusty steal the limelight in this delightful CAS video!!

To be honest, Dream home decorator somehow has one of my favorite CAS!! Some of the dresses I ALWAYS use, and the hair you used is also one of my favorite!! I downloaded this pack for the build-buy, so the CAS was a pleasant surprise!

I think it’s because I don’t see many people playing with it, so I don’t really know anything about it and how it works, so this is going to be very helpful!!
For me CAS is where i really come up with the storylines for the sims! Every time a sim ages up in my legacy save and i go into CAS to give them a makeover, its the perfect time to brainstorm some cute stories (or drama ✨)

I really love the way your sims look. Every one of them looks really good. I also love the attention to detail you put into the outfits and personality quirks of the sims. It’s the same with your builds, you pay so much attention to the little details and it’s part of the reason why I like your sim style and building style. I know it’s hard not to overthink everything you do especially with insecurities. Know that you are in fact your own worst critic so you always criticize yourself the most. You’re human, it’s just a thing that we do and it’s okay to struggle with things, it doesn’t make you a bad person.
I have literally thousands of hours in TS4, and yet I was today years old when I learned that eye highlighter was a thing!!!! Thank you Kayla, for schooling an old biddy with -1 Perception!!!!!

I love her CAS so much!!!! Her sims always look realistic and she doesn’t make them to fit only the European beauty standard with bunch of skin ccs etc. Also nice to see bigger bodies as a lot of simmers just do their playthroughs with skinny sims… She is really talented in dressing them no matter the body type or size. Definitely not a victim of “is it fashion or kendall jenner” trend that is going on ❤
I actually think you are good at cas! I always love your sims, and how you dress them! I love all the outfits you make, and how different your sims are, and that you always make a story for them❤ I also think you are good with outfits in real life, you always have such a cute outfits, and they are often colorful which I love, I dress similar sometimes, so I really do love your style ❤
When it comes to CAS, as long as you like how they look in your game then that's all that matters. My CAS style is probably not for everyone, but that's okay, that's the magic of the Sims - we can all create what works for us.

this video was really fun!! and btw ts4 is so bad with matching clothes that it opens "beautiful" up entirely to the player. Some of the clothes SHOULD, in theory, work beautifully together but ts being ts the colors are limited, the physicality of the fit is off and the outfit looks odd for whatever reason. CAS is a almost a game of chance while simultaneously trapping you into specific outfits that only go together with themselves. Anyways. I love this sim and the stories in the comments are making me wanna play with her as well.

I can promise you that whatever you like for the Sims you play to be wearing is as cute and fashionable as you want it to be. Your style doesn't have to be anyone else's style. Personally, I don't like the cold weather outfit that you love. But, the fact that you love it is all you should need to have your Sim wear it!
For her traits I would have picked, Genuis, Loves Art, and Creative--or Freegan and have the Collector's Aspiration. Oh, I forgot to mention, that you have forgotten the hat and gloves in the cold weather outfit. I just thought of something, why not give the townies makeovers, like the Goth's or the Landgrabbs--okay for get the Landgrabbs, they can disappear for all I care, but Eliza Pancakes is overdue for one--or Vladdy Daddy.
I know when it comes to dressing myself, I tend to pick up things that fit my personality or interests. That also reflects on my sims, I pick the personality first and then do the clothes based on that.

so you basically skip the one hour cas-experience and start instantly with building for multiple hours before quitting the game and starting all over again???
I do both, so there are times I will crack open a build save and just spend hours building without going into cas at all lol

Video idea: next sponsored video with Thred up, do another cas video and try to recreate the outfits you get from irl to the sims! Obv won’t be exact but I think it’d be super fun!?

this video was really fun!! and btw ts4 is so bad with matching clothes that it opens "beautiful" up entirely to the player. Some of the clothes SHOULD, in theory, work beautifully together but ts being ts the colors are limited, the physicality of the fit is off and the outfit looks odd for whatever reason. CAS is a almost a game of chance while simultaneously trapping you into specific outfits that only go together with themselves. Anyways. I love this sim and the stories in the comments are making me wanna play with her as well.

I can promise you that whatever you like for the Sims you play to be wearing is as cute and fashionable as you want it to be. Your style doesn't have to be anyone else's style. Personally, I don't like the cold weather outfit that you love. But, the fact that you love it is all you should need to have your Sim wear it!

For her traits I would have picked, Genuis, Loves Art, and Creative--or Freegan and have the Collector's Aspiration. Oh, I forgot to mention, that you have forgotten the hat and gloves in the cold weather outfit. I just thought of something, why not give the townies makeovers, like the Goth's or the Landgrabbs--okay for get the Landgrabbs, they can disappear for all I care, but Eliza Pancakes is overdue for one--or Vladdy Daddy.
I know when it comes to dressing myself, I tend to pick up things that fit my personality or interests. That also reflects on my sims, I pick the personality first and then do the clothes based on that.
