Meghan has no experience of people management. I grew up in a home that had domestic staff and s part-time gardener. We were taught to respect the staff, and know that there were consequences if we were rude to them.
I don't think it has anything to do with her experience though and has everything to do with her personality. Like when I was in school (an ordinary school I graduated 6 years ago) there were cooks and cleaner ladies and uncles cleaning the territory and if any of the students would've been disrespectful to any of them both the teachers and the parents (and other students probably too) would've been pissed. So being respectful to people working to help you is a common lesson everyone is taught at some point in their childhood. No special circumstances needed

Re the paragraph you found confusing, I think the point was that media was implying that Meghan was basically shilling for free fashion items which made her look tacky, cheap and (in every normal person's view) vulgar and unroyal. This was after Thomas had retired, when he barely had enough money to cover his own expenses. *Meghan was 30 years old, working on Suits & making more money than her recently retired father, yet she still accepted his money. (They gave Thomas some kind of handwritten "voucher" in exchange for his $20,000 contribution.)* So when Meghan gave him $20,000, a few years later, it would have been no more than returning his gift, imo. Unless Thomas also accepted *other* large payments from Meghan (I haven't heard of any) then I believe Thomas was essentially telling the truth because it was only fair that Meghan should make some kind of "return" for a "gift" that she should never have accepted.

Since the bulling report against Meghan isn’t going to be released, to my knowledge, this award shows the high regard Prince William has for Mr. Knauf’s work and loyalty to him. When Harry asked to move out of Nottingham Cottage he first asked the Queen to move into a wing of Windsor Castle but the Queen vetoed that. My belief is that he and MM believed that if they were in Windsor Castle they would be able to have private access to the Queen, since they were so close by, and have the ability to ask for more privileges without either Charles or William being involved. When that proposal was turned down the Queen offered them Frogmore Cottage which they accepted. However this turned out to be a bit of a sick joke on them because they mistook Frogmore Cottage for Frogmore House ( which is a much larger and grander building ) but when they realised their mistake it was too late and they couldn’t back out. So in the end they were stuck with Frogmore Cottage which was not what they wanted.
Meghan was mad at being called out for promoting her ‘friends’ clothing, accessories etc. At this point it was obvious that Meghan was using her position to promote her ‘friends’, which was & is essentially forbidden for Royals to do. There is speculation that Meghan was getting kickbacks. In addition, Royals will predominantly wear UK brands, or if travelling on tour, wear clothing by local designers in the countries they are visiting.
The issue with promoting the Serena Williams jacket was that the British media had called her out in those early days. Meghan thought she could quietly merch her style to the US without the British, and the Royal Family, figuring out the grift. Meghan knew she had the opportunity to gain favour with influential A listers in America as HRH the Duchess of Sussex. However, the British called her out not so much for merching but for not promoting a British designer. Meghan didn't like anything to get in the way of monetizing her new brand. This culminated in the ending of the Sussex Royal brand by HMTQ with Brexit.
Because the 2 of them have so little in common, I believe that they really built their relationship by doing little more than finding things to be offended by. Something many people don't know is Bower was an anti monarchist who like many people fell for Diana, the same woman who had already had an affair by the time Harry was born. The book included an egregious allegation made by a member of his staff who suffered from a mental illness most of his life and Diana supposedly taped the man when he was in a mental hospital to use it against Charles. Diana suffered from a personality disorder and was hell to live with, her parents very public divorce where her dad fought for custody of the children and promptly had little to do with them affected her badly. Her own brother would not let her stay with him when the marriage to Charles happened because of her behaviour, the marriage broke down like many do and its almost both sides that share the blame. Diana had the police visit because she harassed one of her livers wife including phoning her and hanging up 300 times. I give her credit though because she eventually turned around her life. She was friends with Charles and had found her place in life and became the people princess loved by many. It was really sad that Charles was portrayed as the villain for years as well as Camilla because before Diana's death she did not hate Camilla

Honestly I don’t know where this nonsense narrative that the trip to Sydney was such a success came from. It’s time to let it go - I worked in the area of the CBD they visited and near where they stayed - almost no one knew they were in town. We walked past them at the opera house and there was almost no one there to great them, just a few dozen people and you’d usually have more people than that hanging out there just for the view. The invictus games was also not a big thing for locals. They just didn’t register at all with Sydneysiders.

The staff aren’t allowed to record anything. There’s a strict rule about anything that happens in the Palaces does not leak out. Queen Camilla had to accept the resignation of someone close to her who inadvertently told her husband something (minor) but it got out so the woman chose to leave. That’s why it’s so unusual for leaks to happen, and clearly only started when MM arrived, and it’s a huge deal that there were reports of her bullying that became more public

Both families had members who treated me like the hired help....until they found out I come from royalty and am very smart. When you live in America, the your status comes from what schools you come from. It's a screen out process. When you first meet, they ask; What schools did you go to? Megan's father sent her to some highly rated schools but they didn't teach her how to get along with others.

M brought Jessica to Australia for a holiday. Most of the events H was alone, H gave the excuse M was under the weather due to her pregnancy. Jessica and M were seen elsewhere on holiday. The tea was thrown at the governor generals wife. PA had to bring 250,000 dollars to cover up this incident. However it's public knowledge. The Australian tour was a disaster not well recieved at all.
She did NOT bake the banana bread in Australia, it was baked by staff who were harrassed to bake loaf after loaf through half the night until it approved by her. Also, the tea she threw was not in the air, it was thrown at a female server. This server was compensated to the tune of $25,000 (supposedly) to keep quiet! She also did not want just a wing in the government house in Sydney, she wanted the whole house! This home was the home of the then govenor general & his wife. She, it had been stated, told the wife to "f" off!!!! Yes, it was indeed a great, successful tour!!!

Meghan has no experience of people management. I grew up in a home that had domestic staff and s part-time gardener. We were taught to respect the staff, and know that there were consequences if we were rude to them.
I don't think it has anything to do with her experience though and has everything to do with her personality. Like when I was in school (an ordinary school I graduated 6 years ago) there were cooks and cleaner ladies and uncles cleaning the territory and if any of the students would've been disrespectful to any of them both the teachers and the parents (and other students probably too) would've been pissed.
So being respectful to people working to help you is a common lesson everyone is taught at some point in their childhood. No special circumstances needed

The incident in Fiji with UN Women just shows how little interest Meghan had in what had been organised. The visit must have been in the brief and UNW referenced so Meghan could have vetoed this visit and asked for something else to be scheduled. One of the best parts of Bower's book was his take on how nonsensical Harry's comparison of Diana to his wife is. (They gave Thomas some kind of handwritten "voucher" in exchange for his $20,000 contribution.)* So when Meghan gave him $20,000, a few years later, it would have been no more than returning his gift, imo. Unless Thomas also accepted *other* large payments from Meghan (I haven't heard of any) then I believe Thomas was essentially telling the truth because it was only fair that Meghan should make some kind of "return" for a "gift" that she should never have accepted.

Hey! I so enjoy watching your videos! Just a quick FYI about Jason Knauf: Prince William recently made him a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order at Windsor Castle. Since the bulling report against Meghan isn’t going to be released, to my knowledge, this award shows the high regard Prince William has for Mr. Knauf’s work and loyalty to him. I thought this was very telling.

When Harry asked to move out of Nottingham Cottage he first asked the Queen to move into a wing of Windsor Castle but the Queen vetoed that. My belief is that he and MM believed that if they were in Windsor Castle they would be able to have private access to the Queen, since they were so close by, and have the ability to ask for more privileges without either Charles or William being involved. When that proposal was turned down the Queen offered them Frogmore Cottage which they accepted. However this turned out to be a bit of a sick joke on them because they mistook Frogmore Cottage for Frogmore House ( which is a much larger and grander building ) but when they realised their mistake it was too late and they couldn’t back out. So in the end they were stuck with Frogmore Cottage which was not what they wanted.

Meghan was mad at being called out for promoting her ‘friends’ clothing, accessories etc. At this point it was obvious that Meghan was using her position to promote her ‘friends’, which was & is essentially forbidden for Royals to do. There is speculation that Meghan was getting kickbacks. In addition, Royals will predominantly wear UK brands, or if travelling on tour, wear clothing by local designers in the countries they are visiting.
The issue with promoting the Serena Williams jacket was that the British media had called her out in those early days. Meghan thought she could quietly merch her style to the US without the British, and the Royal Family, figuring out the grift. Meghan knew she had the opportunity to gain favour with influential A listers in America as HRH the Duchess of Sussex. However, the British called her out not so much for merching but for not promoting a British designer. Meghan didn't like anything to get in the way of monetizing her new brand. This culminated in the ending of the Sussex Royal brand by HMTQ with Brexit.
Because the 2 of them have so little in common, I believe that they really built their relationship by doing little more than finding things to be offended by. Meghan played the role of the poor misunderstood, distressed damsel, and Harry made himself feel important by being her protector.. Its probably the only thing they talked about. That would get really old really fast

I've had a boss who did the whole 'always having someone in their sights' routine, it was so unhealthy and in general miserable. It was such an effective way to destroy growth and grow resentment. Such a bitchy, gross vibe!

@@sarahm9312 I've said this exact same thing about MM. It's astonishing. But I guess for me and my former boss? She wasn't worth going to jail for plus, at least I could see it wasn't personal. Several months down the line she eventually tried pulling something similar with the wrong person, who had the power to put her in her place, and she got hers! 😂 It was beautiful.
@@trishrandall5031 It was a corporate job for a major health insurance company where I worked as an RN case manager. I've seen so many women in nursing where older nurses just 💩 on anyone who's new. An industry where women outnumber the men and they end up being more abusive than our male counterparts in different settings. It's always made me sick.

Once we get into the Wallace and Edward book you’ll notice so many similarities with them and H&M. Wallace also had a gay sidekick that somewhat took precedence over her marriage with The Duke of Windsor. It’s very similar to the MM and Marcus Anderson situation. I think bringing in a young staff for harry and his wife was a huge mistake. The.royals realized early on she was a problem. A young niave staff was the last thing they needed. They should have brought in the most seasoned for them.

I do wish people would stop saying Diana was a victim, Bower does the same. Something many people don't know is Bower was an anti monarchist who like many people fell for Diana, the same woman who had already had an affair by the time Harry was born. The book he wrote about Charles was a hatchet job because he wanted William to ascend the throne and not Charles. The book included an egregious allegation made by a member of his staff who suffered from a mental illness most of his life and Diana supposedly taped the man when he was in a mental hospital to use it against Charles.
Diana suffered from a personality disorder and was hell to live with, her parents very public divorce where her dad fought for custody of the children and promptly had little to do with them affected her badly. Her own brother would not let her stay with him when the marriage to Charles happened because of her behaviour, the marriage broke down like many do and its almost both sides that share the blame.
Diana had the police visit because she harassed one of her livers wife including phoning her and hanging up 300 times. I give her credit though because she eventually turned around her life. She was friends with Charles and had found her place in life and became the people princess loved by many. It was really sad that Charles was portrayed as the villain for years as well as Camilla because before Diana's death she did not hate Camilla
You're forgetting Jason is an employee and wasn't aware that the letter was going out to the world. He was the one who went to court to call her out. It was Jason who reported her bullying to the Palace and William
Honestly I don’t know where this nonsense narrative that the trip to Sydney was such a success came from. It’s time to let it go - I worked in the area of the CBD they visited and near where they stayed - almost no one knew they were in town. We walked past them at the opera house and there was almost no one there to great them, just a few dozen people and you’d usually have more people than that hanging out there just for the view. The invictus games was also not a big thing for locals. They just didn’t register at all with Sydneysiders.

The staff aren’t allowed to record anything. There’s a strict rule about anything that happens in the Palaces does not leak out. Queen Camilla had to accept the resignation of someone close to her who inadvertently told her husband something (minor) but it got out so the woman chose to leave. That’s why it’s so unusual for leaks to happen, and clearly only started when MM arrived, and it’s a huge deal that there were reports of her bullying that became more public

We all carry a recording device all the time. They should have looked into domestic violence apps that offer one touch recording so you don’t get caught and beaten.

I am the daughter of Italian immigrants and a Catholic. My husband comes from old money. My ex's family weren't rich but have been. Both families had members who treated me like the hired help....until they found out I come from royalty and am very smart. When you live in America, the your status comes from what schools you come from. It's a screen out process. When you first meet, they ask; What schools did you go to? Megan's father sent her to some highly rated schools but they didn't teach her how to get along with others.
There is only a clash of cultures if one person is unwilling to get along with another and thinks theirs is superior. All cultures are equal and unique and beautiful. Ignorant people miss out on alot of life. MEEgain has. Her only focus is herself.

M brought Jessica to Australia for a holiday. Most of the events H was alone, H gave the excuse M was under the weather due to her pregnancy. Jessica and M were seen elsewhere on holiday. The tea was thrown at the governor generals wife. PA had to bring 250,000 dollars to cover up this incident. However it's public knowledge.
The Australian tour was a disaster not well recieved at all.

She also did not want just a wing in the government house in Sydney, she wanted the whole house! This home was the home of the then govenor general & his wife. She, it had been stated, told the wife to "f" off!!!! Yes, it was indeed a great, successful tour!!!

Just to put in a word for palace staff like Knauf... People under the employ of the BRF held loyalty above all else. The jobs in a royal household aren't exactly well paid, just fair. They understood their job was to protect their principals and the interests of the institution. Knauf is most certainly of that mold - unabashedly discreet, unwaveringly loyal, puts their head down and gets the job done whatever it is that needed to be done, except when it pushes the boundaries of ethics as in MM's case. Still it's different than being a sycophant (like Omid Scobie) who would blatantly lie and defame others just to put their boss in a good light. Like another TH-camr who used to be editor of a lifestyle magazine said... The palace was a tight ship where no news leaks, until Meghan came along - SHE is the leaker. 😂 I would laud the level of discretion and loyalty of such a staff as Knauf, and the amount of work he's accomplished under his belt. I don't see a people pleaser here. Just my opinion. 😊
@@ongjanette I think you explained that perfectly. I think some people find it difficult to understand how prestigious it is to work for the Crown and that’s why they are so loyal. To then have someone unwilling to learn, or care about history, protocols or the staff be invited in by ‘the boss’ and then be admonished for being upset at her bullying behaviour
