I did a heavy mistake of operating this module on 5v, after that it became extremely hot, and I might have burnt or short circuit the chip , so if anyone is reading DO NOT connect iti with 5v, it's operating voltages are 3.3v

There are various types of 6M GPS modules. This particular module comes with a regulator, so you can safely provide 5V to it.
what if you upload a code and the rx tx is still connected i accidently upload it does the module now is broken?

This is a GPS module. Its s receiver. Transmitter is the satellite.
What's the battery name (size) and is it rechargeable?
The battery is spot welded to the board. can not see the detail.
Hi i followed all the steps here but nothing is showing up in the serial monitor
Sometimes it takes more than 30 minutes to detect satellites.
I am facing issues with same module. Nothing is getting printed on serial monitor.
It take sometimes 12 to 30 minutes to connect with satellites Try with open place.
me too. There is a satellite right above my head, my LED is blinking blue, but I don't have any output on Serial Monitor.
hi, why you connect the rx and tx with 3 and 4, and not with the rx and tx pins of the arduino?
Yes, it is according to the code.
