Had one last week. They look way better than they taste. They're honestly kinda dry and boring. Bc of how thick they are, there's too much batter and not enough chocchips which are milk choc instead of semi sweet which makes the flavor not as in depth and they are so cakey it's almost like eating bread. Probably one of the worst chocchip cookies I've ever had. Very disappointing.

I’ve noticed when people do these Costco vs Crumble cookie videos the 2nd one they try is usually the winner. Which makes me think the 1st one u try still has some of its taste in your mouth and “enriches” the 2nd one u try. Maybe try drinking water in between them to get a consistent flavor test

Costco just slightly overbakes the cookies. If a cookie is perfectly done when you pull it out of the oven, its overbaked by the time it cools. They either aren't responding to the timer fast enough, or the timing itself is wrong.
