Interesting mod!
One thing I don't quite understand is, why you're soldering the line-out wires to the speaker wires, when there's to perfectly fine empty pads on the same planes?
Also, you want to consider using flux instead of adding more solder, it helps the solder to flow and makes it a lot easier to work with.
