Off road is so much more fun than riding on road. If you have the bike for it, do it!! No wonder the adventure bike market is so huge! Great video mate.
Great vid. So I have a ’18 Multistrada 950 set up for enduro; I average about 150 miles a month off-road and another 850 on twisty canyon pavement and freeways from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. My off-roading is on trails not too different than in your vid and I love the Multi’s capabilities. Couple of additional minor equipment recommendations if you’re going to be doing much more off-roading on that thing. First, I replaced the stock screen with a Puig “racing” screen on. Not only do I think it looks a little nicer (dark smoke), but the shorter racing screen comes in handy off road. Like you did in your vid, when terrain got particularly rough off road standing on the pegs I found myself occasionally bumping my chin on that stock screen - even when in the lowered position. The shorter “racing” screen actually eliminates that - and still works fine on freeways at high speed. Also, I use the Pirelli Rally STR’s rather than the Pirelli Trails - much better off-road traction and I”ve never once felt they were a shortcoming on twisty canyon pavement or freeways. Have fun riding!
I have the 950 also, but with cast wheels and the Trails II. My Desert Sled has the STRs. I'm thinking of switching to the Pirelli Rally Radial non STRs. I like how the center knobby block is split and there is a bit more spacing between the knobs and they're longer (and therefore not as street focused).
@@CaliMotoTV ok thanks I knew that I think I watch so many of these they are making it hard to pick a bike these days there's is just to many great ones out there I remember the pikes peak now thanks
Cheers from Italy. Great video. I am an happy owner of a 2017 Multistrada Enduro Pro. I have run 30.000 km of which almost 5000 km off road. If you fit the bike with knobby tires and with only 1 gallon in the tank you will be surprised by how much punishment can the bike take without any problem. Thanks again for the video.
