With some of the more out-there design choices of the late '90s and early '00s coming back into fashion, it takes an extremely keen eye to come out with a range which matches that energy without looking too dated or clunky. The Tissot PRS 516 Automatic Chronograph and Powermatic 80 are watches that capture the essence of modern racing edge, with a heart of classic muscle. Andrew sat down with Tissot’s CEO Sylvain Dolla in their Le Locle headquarters to go in-depth about the PRS 516, where its origins lie, what its name means, and what some of its standout features are.

The chrono is stunning but 45mm plus the pushers and at 16mm depth....it's stupid large. I'll have to pay three times as much for the Tag Carrera.

45mm is too big even in my 21cm wrist. I don't know why tissot always make automatic chronograph in 45mm? While its competitors can build in 40mm?

The PRS line have one of the worst AR coating from my collection, I hope Tissot could try improve it because the rest of the watch is really nice and the movement is very stable.

I have 7.5” wrist and love 42 to 50mm watches. Size does not determine comfort for me, but rather the shape of the case.

@@edteach3r For me size is as a package watch size + real watch L2L and thickness. I found that I feel the best with watches from 36mm to 42mm with L2L from 44mm to 51mm. Above or under this scale it is not comfortable for me. That’s why e.g. even if I love new Tissot Telemeter for retro chrono or Garmin Marq 2 as a smartwatch, unfortunately I cannot get it because is too big for what I like. :/

@@WparuSlowach Thanks for the response. I agree that it is difficult to find sometrhing that fits comfortably as our wrists are all different, regardless of wrist size. My wrist is 7.5", but broad and flat (which is why the Tudor BB Pro looks rediculous on my wrist). I don't shop online untill I have actually tried the watch on in person.
