People are going to hate on PSU and the NLWC because they have had the most dominant programs in recent years. People are going to find a way to try to put them down. I don’t really care about that. Also, let’s acknowledge that brooks had a strong chance of a push out or cheap takedown against Valencia in those last 10 seconds because he valencia was extremely gassed. The best wrestler won. More accurately, you could say Valaencia beat Valencia. He "allowed" a four point come back, then pulled the singlet. Seems like that's all on Valencia, not the refs.

I'm not sure what match you watched, but if Brooks beat Taylor, which we know he did twice. Then he must have defeated Zahid because that's the only way he would be able to wrestle Taylor. Zahid definitely had his fingers/hand inside the shoulder strap of Brooks' singlet and you could see the pull of it. Now, whether or not that should've been called, I don't know. However, the ref did choose to call it. The ref had every right to call it, and Zahid had every right to appeal the call but chose not to. So, the better wrestler win the match and I believe that Brooks was the better of all 3 of those wrestlers. 7:23
