Thank you for the great video! A lot of channels make these walking videos, but many make the mistake of playing some "music" as background sound. One of the best things about this video is the natural street sounds. The level of immersion from doing that makes it almost like being there. Thanks again!
Thanks for the upload. Too bad they didn’t retain Anthony Horden’s building, Sydney’s iconic Department Store that was on this site. The present building is just an ordinary generic shopping centre, nothing special. Good to see Sydney has trams again 😊
This looks more like a suburban shopping centre rather than something on expensive city real estate. The standard of fitout looks generally lower than I expected. I suppose it really is a suburban-like shopping centre for the residents above in the tower and surrounding areas, but even so it is not a very high standard one. It looks to me like the developers would have charged premium prices for the real estate above and then they, or whoever was responsible, saved what they could on the standard of the fitout in the shopping area below.
Agreed..in fact some of the latest “suburban” shopping centres are quite amazing..I’m not from Sydney..but have visited World Square a few times...it’s always buzzing with people..especially in the evening...I think people from the big Asian cities are used to being out and about on the streets(and in the shopping centres) till quite late...this adds vibrancy to a city...(of course this was all pre COVID)
The shorts with black socks and tennis shoes thing is just very odd to me. It's like you're getting your fashion tips from middle aged German Tourists from the 70's.
