Can we have it the other way around for a few of the auditing. Not all police officers do wrong things. Thank you for reading. Also one more thing. When this channel started, it sounded like the guy who did top 10, 20, etc videos. I like your auditing because I one day wish to be a police officer and hopefully a police detective. I can learn some stuff from here. I am also learning amendments. Even court cases.

      2. In almost all cases including here, speeding is a civil offense. You're incorrect calling them criminals.
      3. If you actually watched the video, you might notice Mrs. Harper was doing exactly as Arkansas law stated and even FB posts from their police department stated. Put hazard lights on and drive to a safe place to pull over. She was correct, the cop was wrong.
      4. No need to argue because not only did Mrs. Harper already win her case in court, she forced massive policy change on PIT maneuvers so they can no longer be used at the arbitrary discretion of the officer and now can only be used in very limited contexts when objective conditions are met.

Firstly, watch it again and realize when he said "this is what we do" he was referring to how they pull people over even on that slim shoulder. Thats precisely what he was saying and you can tell if you just go back and watch it in context.
Not only that, the officer pulled up on her side before doing the PIT and she ignored it. He was indicating that a PIT is about to be made but didnt do it, showed restraint.
Its not like she wasnt aware of the seriousness of the situation. There was a good minute or two of close chase and she just thought she could go to the next town, thats ridiculous. If she really truly thought the officer would have been unsafe to make a stop there, then why the hell is the officer trying so hard to effect the stop immediately? She failed to employ logic there and see that it must be safe if the officer is trying to do the routine traffic stop there on the side of the road.
Not only that, the fact that the PIT was done at a high speed indicates she was not slowing down, and her actions were consistent with someone fleeing the police. (personally, I would have put my arm out the window and pointed that im gonna pull over so at least hed see something from me beyond hazard lights which dont mean much - pretty sure O.J. had his hazard lights on when he was escaping in his bronco on that famous police chase. Doesnt indicate your bout to comply in any way, shape or form.)
If everyone wants to freak out about her being two months pregnant, you could also ask why she was speeding? She should have been taking care of her baby by driving at safe speeds, is that not correct?
But its not like anyone knew she was pregnant so theres no reason to include that as if the cop was trying to knock out a pregnant lady on purpose or could tell that she was pregnant. Alot of people dont even know theyre pregnant by that time anyway, let alone have a big huge bump that could damge a baby if bounced around. A fetus at the age of 8 weeks is the size of a kidney bean. So, again, not sure why thats a focus other than being a generic health situation that could have been avoided by either not speeding, or pulling over when caught speeding.

That cop made someone flip their car and shows little worry for said person. He takes his sweet time pulling around, parks, strolls over, and just asks if she can get out. Not is she hurt, does she need medical attention, does she need help in any way. The complete lack of any emotion other than mild annoyance is unbelievable

I was a LEO for 12 years. When I 1st saw this video I was furious. I would NEVER had done this in this scenario. I used PIT only 2x and I chased both of them @ high speeds (over 90) for excess of 30 min and then weaving through traffic and both actually needed to be stopped asap before people were injured.
This officer didn’t give any time to see if she would stop once off the bridge. There was no traffic, no danger and she freaking signaled that she acknowledged him. It wasn’t as if she sped up on a crowded freeway.

@@roshill2010 I can’t tell you the number of people I’ve stopped that has done the same. I followed one particular car one night & tried to stop it. The flashers came on and slowed. I followed it for about 2 miles because I knew there was a very bright lit gas station ahead.
Sure enough it pulled in and stopped. It was a 16 yo girl just got her license that week & she crying & scared to death because she didn’t know what to do.
I told her why I stopped her, gave her a written warning because she would be past her curfew by the time she got home. She was scared of the stop, scared of being late & parents being mad etc.
I told her she did just fine & gave her my number so her parents could call if they needed to.
This was before cell phones were popular so she had no way of calling.
