House of Sillage began their career by throwing out their Swarovski blinked bottles on not perfume reviewers but make up reviewers in the beginning… They are all about marketing and lavishing bottles. And insanely overpriced fragrances that they show retail prices of 500 usd and above. And then they have sales where everything is 50% off. But the fragrances don’t live up to the quality even when sold at half price. It’s a very American brand offering very childish fragrances. If I were you I would not collaborate with them. ❣️

House of Sillage is a brand I am curious about, but the weird packaging makes it look kinda tacky, and considering the price of their bottles, I am hesitant to even think of getting a discovery set, cause I'm not sure which is worse, not loving anything, or falling in love with a scent you'd have to pay 500€ for and having looney tunes packaging on it, like you got yourself a chepy from Action... 😅😂
house of sillage does have licenses with warner bros., disney, and mgm for their collaborations. i’ve tried hufflepuff and it was a gorgeous lemon-coconut-vanilla gourmand that i might get when they put it on a 50% off sale.

I can't wait to hear what you think of Sarah Baker Gold Spot. I get such a strong note of latex/band-aids from it on my skin, but the dry down is incredible. I would love to hear about some similar fragrances, because it's so close to amazing for me (even with that band-aid note present).

Hi Clemence: House of Sillage is a legitimate company. They are in LA I believe. I recommend Hufflepuff, Minnie, Wonder woman, and if you like oud Passion de l'amour.

House of Sillage is legit and they have two fragrances that were really really hyped in the US: Minnie and Hufflepuff. I fell for the Hufflepuff hype and blind bough 🙈, it’s really nice but I definitely should have waited until they offered it on 50% (they always end up offering their fragrances on sale)
Hello Clemence! (There was a cartoon in my country called Clemente, your name always remember me it 😊).
Looking at these selections, there is no doubt that 2022/23 have been very bad years when it comes to men's designer fragrances. Le male and acqua are more or almost 30 years old and there are still no flankers that match them, while the original fragrances of these brands deteriorate.
These days (argentinian summer here), I am returning to those origins, specifically to Allure edt. By the way, I see that you also have a very classic taste (terre edt, for example): what comes to your mind or what opinion do you have of allure edt for a 43-year-old man?

MOST BORING : PRADA PARADOX and possibly another Jadore...
I had a sample of Tonka Cola and it does smell like cherry cola, but the opening has this delicious acidity that actually made it feel like it was carbonated and coming off my skin. I wouldn't buy a full bottle of it, but definitely a fun thing to experience. My issue with House of Sillage's Harry Potter line is that buying those perfumes gives money to JK, which I'm not about. Also, Penhaligon's already made the ultimate expression of Slytherin - Eau the Audacity. 😁Honestly, if they made Balm of Calm with blue accents instead of grey, it would've been a perfect trap for all us millenials that still cling to HP despite JK being a transphobe.

Sorry but Musc Noir Rose was not even in the thumbnail and title, so it’s not like my opinion was expected on this one. I did a video on these fragrances before and said I liked it, just not a surprise to see it here. For eau givrée, i said it’s was not a love for me, this is a channel where I’m allowed to express my opinion, I’m sorry it differs from yours and for wasting your 3 minutes of time

Mine isn't starting very well, so thanks for your calming funny character, right now you're helping me not to cry bcs of f.cking Uni exams (had ones before holidays, and others right now for 3 days), almost all failed 🥲🥲 (I'm from Rennes, but I'm studying Psychology at Grenobles)
Plus being so so worried and preoccupied by my best friend who's going through some atrociously hard period in her life. Feeling helpless and useless when a friend isn't well is atrociously painfull and scary. Anxiety is kicking ^^' Can't wait for my 4 days break before 2nd semester begins.
(It's not just for complaining, it's more to say thank you you too ! Bcs you help us a lot I'm sure. Personnally, your videos help me, change my thoughts and take a break. So it's in both sense 🥲😊)

HOS is not a dupe house. They have very intricately designed bottles and some very beautiful premium ingredient fragrances & collections. At full price they're too expensive but they do have great sales that make them affordable and comparable to most niche frags. You should try some! Minnie Mouse, Cream Chiffon, Hufflepuff, Whispers of Truth and Hautes Bijou are a few very nice choices (I haven't smelled a lot of what they offer).🧁I JUST ordered Jeroboam Gozo because of you, Clemence❣😘❤
