Omg!!!! I have a long story!!! Devotion! BB Devotion!! Then sprayed it and hated it! Lol!! So returned it! Went to Sephora to purchase something I needed; salesperson said try Devotion and I gave it another shot!! Needless to say it smells incredibly delicious!! So now I have her back!!!! Reminds me of Bake; but Devotion is a bit fresher and less buttery! Bought a decant of Guidance, it’s on my Birthday wishlist!!! It’s December 18th. So it might be my gift to me! Clemence take good care of yourself and sending you a big birthday hug!!!!
Nomade Jasmin Naturel Intense Chloé is amazing. I just received it today. Highly recommend for a 2023 perfume.

Best fragrance I've smelled this year is Luban from Wideon. It's strawberry frankincense dominant, with a ton of other intoxicating supportive notes. I immediately bought it, and can not get enough. It's the one fragrance this year, I've had to try hard not to wear every day. You MUST get your nose on it if your haven't already. Another great list CC...I'm loving what you're doing. More please.😉

I haven’t tried Devotion but do own “Guidance”, although I cannot say it fills my room, I really enjoy it snd it was the last fragrance I purchased before I lost my job when I was told I had to “retire”. I love your honesty and always enjoy your videos. Enjoy the holidays and have a very Happy Birthday and I wish you many happy and healthy years ahead.

Best fragrance I smelled this year so far (still few weeks left to sniff around!!) has to be Angel´s Share... a little late for the game but finally got a large sample and yes the hype is real. I would love to smell Musc K by Ella K. Camelia K has an amazing opening with the dragon fruit omg! I only hoped the fruits would have lasted longer, tuberose took over and that´s a difficult note for me personally.

Regrettably Guidance smelt very rotten and green on my skin. It was nice on my clothes, but on my skin I couldn’t take it.

What a wonderful video. These are the best kind of videos where you spend some time talking about the fragrance and the feelings they elicit. In short, it's personal. I am not a fragrance expert. I have no nose. But I tend to agree with your conclusion. There were a lot of fragrances a lot, maybe too many releases. Fragrantica could barely keep up. I also agree with your view that fragrances are becoming more realistic and parfumeurs are pushing the limits or boundaries of what can be the basis for a perfume. I think more and more people are reaching for perfumes, not just to out smell each other, but I also think people are hungry for scent memories -- fragrances that remind them of a favorite memory or favorite person or even favorite food or environments -- like sea water. I think anything is game, now. But where on earth do you find these fragrances?

Happy birthday, early! Man, that's an intimidating amount of sprays of an Amouage 😆 voilà 😀 I need to smell Guidance, I can't imagine disliking it 👀 👀 I didn't smell too many new ones this year, but I did love Amouage Jubilation 40 and Dia 40, the latter of which my Mum wore today!
Well I still have to try some more Amouage it seems !
And yeah I could bath in guidance 😂

Guidance est clairement un des mes coups de coeur de l'année, pourtant je suis pas du tout parfums fruité/girly en général. Mais lui.. L'amour.
The best fragrance that I smelled and bought me a bottle was Bosca Vanilla by Guerlain. I’ve being trying many fragrances, but this one got a special place in my heart. (After a strange feeling when I first tried it 😂)
If you haven’t yet, try Vanille Insensée Atelier Cologne. The most unusual vanilla, out of this world.

I love Guidance and I’m also trying not to be the snob that I am and admit that I really-really like Devotion and buy a bottle. I’m traveling to London (from Budapest 😉) this weekend to visit family before Christmas and to celebrate your hmmm I mean my husband’s birthday (his birthday is on the 19th as well) and we plan to do some fragrance shopping as well. Do you have any suggestions where I could find Guidance in either the travel size that you have or the 50 ml bottle. I really try to avoid getting a full 100 ml bottle. Thanks

Gris Charnel Extrait is a really good fragrance IMMHO.

I'm a gourmand lover so one of the best fragrances I've smelled has to be sora dora jany.😊❤

Sadly, I am in this group who can’t pick all the yummy notes in Guidance 🥲 I believe it is one of those « hit or miss » frag.

Connais-tu la marque Ormaie Paris, je l'ai découvert il y a quelques semaines et je trouve leur gamme hyper intéressante et des fragrances qui sortent du commun (de ma petite expérience) 😄
When I bought piano santal they gave me a sample of liqueur bpm and wowwww I liked it 10 times better! Another necessity unlocked❤ jajajj
Love your diverse list! Clémence, I know you also love Floris Neroli Voyage. How would you rate/compare it with the Guerlain Nerolia Vetiver?

They are sooo different Nerolia Vetiver is on steroid compared to neroli voyage haha
Neroli voyage also have more marine notes, more chic easy going
Nerolia vetiver is powdery cozy but super intense and striking bergamot (at least the forte)

I agree that guidance has a dirty small parts smell. I can't get my head around how ppl love it so much!
I sprayed Guidance on my wrist in the shop once but I just could not understand what the hype is about. It smelled fine to me but nothing mind-blowing and in no-where beast-mode. I will have to try it again some time. It really bugs me that I don't get it :D maybe my nose needs to develop more

Black Datura is mysterious. Im trying to find the right wording. The floral doesnt push it fem to me at all. Ive got 10ml of jubilation 25. Jub 40 is 40% oil. Jub is way to low on publicity just like Tony Iommi. Iommi is heaven.

Guidance didn´t work for me either... first of all it´s way too strong and second.. it just doesn´t smell good to me.. it has a weird almost blood like smell.. and the strong sandal wood drydown was the final nail on the coffin. 🤷♀

Why oh why do I find Guidance so rancid 😭😭😩?! I want to smell what Everyone else does. It smells like gross body odor and I never ever get snobby about fragrance, but I truly don’t get this one. Or Delina…Delina doesn’t smell bad just soooo obnoxious 😅
