Batman and Wonder Woman visit the Fortress of Solitude for Superman's birthday but find him captive under Mongul's Black Mercy plant. Trapped in a dream of an intact Krypton, Superman lives an idyllic life. They must break him free, but this is not First Time Superman met Mongul, and Batman knows the Backstory.
During an expedition Superman and Martianmanhunter are swept away to War World, a place of unending brutal gladiatorial combat. While the Planet Warworld is ruled by Mongul, a cunning strategist, Superman and John must somehow unite other inhabitants to form an unbeatable resistance and lead an entire planet to freedom. That is when Mongu;'s Plan for Revenge Began.

The Story mainly focuses on critically analysing the new experience Superman had to undergo when he was suddenly abducted by Warworld. In the story I explain how the distant Planet Warworld mainly operates, that is by Gladiator Fighting and Mogul, the Ruler of Warworld govern the Planet.

In the comics it's Robin (Jason Todd) that pulls off the plant and throws it on Mongul.

The comic book version reveals that Mongul dreamt he knocked the plant away in time. Killed the heroes and went on to rule the universe.
I love that people still talk about this Justice league series I feel like no one talks about it anymore
In Space a Kryptonian without a yellow sun is just a normal alien. Superman should be growing weaker as the effect of the earths yellow sun is wearing off. In the second battle he is angry but holds back thinking of his parents giving the advantage to the other alien and of course to demonstrate that a team is more powerful then even the most powerful single individual.
What's more surprising is how he tried to finish superman with a rock and an energy blade that couldn't even penetrate green lanterns shield. These writers really did superman wrong in this animation series, they kept contradicting themselves with their own story, if any rock can kill superman I don't think there's a need for kryptonite.
It only knocked him unconscious or something like that

You must be joking. Pre-Crisis Mongul used to beat on Silver Age Superman like he was a drum. Also, this is from the JL Cartoon, which is over twenty years old at this point. He was weakened significantly in season 1 because the writers thought it would lead to more dramatic tension.

@@NickyJUSC The fact you are bringing up 'weakened' makes me feel like I'm the older one. It sounds like you are referring to the post-Crisis Superman's first encounter with Warworld back from 1989, in Superman: Exile. Superman was depleted from weeks or months away from solar radiation.
However, 'For the Man Who Has Everything' is an Alan Moore story from 1985, pre-Crisis. Mongul takes on Wonder Woman and Superman and is only defeated in the end when the Black Mercy gets him. Prior to that, Mongul tanked a full assault from pre-Crisis Superman and then put Supes down for the count. Superman never got a decisive victory over Mongul and definitely not via brute force.
@@willchurch8376 Lets go back to the 199s during the time Superman died and came back. He was at his premium then, and ever since the artists and writers have turned Superman into a weakling.
@@NickyJUSC 1990s Superman was post-Crisis modern age Supes, and 1990s Mongul was nowhere near as powerful as pre-Crisis Mongul. And he met his end being punched to death by Neron. I only disagreed with your characterization of 'never'.

The thing that always amazes is the inconsistency of the super heroes powers in Marvel and DC.
So Superman needs explosives to destroy an Asteroid, and gets a concussion from the blast.
And he is supposed to be able to tank a Viltramite.
He’s supposedly tough enough to tank a supernova. And has survived 2 planets crashing into each other.

100% True. Many get deceived by thinking she is Lois Lane. But actually she resembles Lana Lang
She represents both. Lo for Lois and Ana for Lana. Don't get caught up in the look. The hair was a decided character design to differentiate from Lois and it does resemble Lana Lang's hair more, but the character in Superman's dream is an amalgamation representing the best of both Lana and Lois.
