03:35 I like this little moment when Roger gets dizzy from landing, he sees neither birds nor stars. In The Who Framed Roger Rabbit movie… that’s the one part he couldn’t even get right at the beginning!
It's a shame cartoons with wild-takes like these are no longer being made. This has a higher animation quality than many series and movies done with today standards! A real shame...
I like this movie and I seen it when I was little and it's my favorite movie from my childhood and it's a good movie but not funny about this movie and it's still a good movie but not funny about this movie and do you agree with me about what I say right and what do you think about this movie same thing what I say right
@ 4:29 Roger reveals he's a vegetarian and pulls three carrots out of his pocket. No surprise. Rabbits in real life are herbivores. But he did cooked a weenie in the next short, "Trial Mix-Up", but he probably wasn't cooking for it for himself but for Herman.
Apparently, this was the short that soured Spielberg's relationship with Disney, as Michael Eisner released it with DICK TRACY (whereas Spielberg wanted it included with ARACHNOPHOBIA). The third short was already underway, but by time that one came out, Spielberg had already jumped the Disney trip and moved on, and TRAIL MIX-UP was just tossed randomly to a film NOBODY remembers called A FAR OFF PLACE.
I can understand Michael Eisner’s decision to release Roller Coaster Rabbit alongside Dick Tracy, as the Roger Rabbit movie was about Detective work; but releasing the third short to something that either is bad, or doesn’t connect to a theme, is a bad decision.
Then came The Animaniacs! 😘❤🤣 GOD, I hope they do a LIVE ACTION/ANIMATION Animaniacs Movie much like Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but have the spirit, depth, talent and passion that was so prevalent in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I can only imagine. 😙😙😙🤣🤣🤣
If Michael Eisner listened to Steven Spielberg and put this short before Arachnophobia, then maybe we could've gotten more Roger Rabbit shorts, including the one that's supposed to be shown before The Rocketeer.
They did planned a Roger Rabbit TV series in the early 90's which it was going be part live action, but they replaced it with a fully animated show starring Bonkers from Disney's Raw Toonage.

We're never "too short" to enjoy this "charging" keeping Baby Herman safe, Roger thrill-ride. Such defined colors and fluid motion that is truly top-quality 🎯👶🏼🐰🎢✏🎥🌅 Stay safe everyone!
I remember watching this 1990 Roger Rabbit short film for the first time on DVD 📀 when I was a teenager. I thought I never saw any Disney shorts like that before in my entire life. The film director becomes furious 😡💢 with Roger for ruining his masterpiece and he orders him to do the whole scene again but Roger refuses.
Because yeah that's exactly what Bob's Burgers is like... or Regular Show was, or King of the Hill.... d'you know what? All these "olde times were better than now shite" shite is just that - shite.
Anyone else find it really interesting that this was released by Touchstone, distributed by Disney, yet the only character to appear in it that is not original to the Roger Rabbit universe... is DROOPY?! Was MGM just like, "yeah, we're not doing anything with him right now, just use him." I know that MGM was obviously partnered with Disney at the time, but I thought it was just for the theme park? I didn't think it was for actual studio productions.
There was a clever reference to Pinocchio at the beginning of the short too. On one of the walls they walked by while Roger was talking was a sign describing "the wooden boy."
They should make new Rodger rabbit shorts, in the style of traditional animation. They can hand paint the background but they can skam the drawings and digitally paint them or they could draw the characters on iPads with the animation software.
I'll planning on bringing the 2-D animated style from Disney once again for my dream job and I will also be movie director as well. These are my biggest dream job in the future 🙌

Roger insisted that she get a part in the short... somewhere.
Nice little Clarabelle Cow cameo at the beginning. April Winchell, who voiced the mom, later voiced Clarabelle on various shows.
She also did the baby voice for Baby Herman
2:33 Really shows you what kind of psychos live in this world, there's no balloons where Herman is, and people are still throwing darts.
03:35 I like this little moment when Roger gets dizzy from landing, he sees neither birds nor stars.
In The Who Framed Roger Rabbit movie… that’s the one part he couldn’t even get right at the beginning!
I love these Roger Rabbit shorts. Roger Rabbit should return sometime.
Watch the Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers movie, you'll see!
Imagine going into the cinema to see Toy Story, the first 3D animated film and then this 2D animated short played. I bet people were confused
This came out before Toy Story. The description says it was released in 1990 in front of Dick Tracy.
@@farronfox I think though this also played in front of Toy Story in the UK.
Al final se que Pixar no creo la tradición solo la siguió
Well, there was supposed to be a new Roger Rabbit short with Toy Story. But it stopped during production because Spielberg ended his deal with Disney.
This was attached to Disney’s Toy Story
It's a shame cartoons with wild-takes like these are no longer being made. This has a higher animation quality than many series and movies done with today standards! A real shame...
Yeah, back then, filmmakers were willing to...what's that word again? Oh, yeah. WORK!!
4:26 I die of laughter each time.
poor Bull XD
😔😢
I like this movie and I seen it when I was little and it's my favorite movie from my childhood and it's a good movie but not funny about this movie and it's still a good movie but not funny about this movie and do you agree with me about what I say right and what do you think about this movie same thing what I say right
The animation is INCREDIBLE! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is my favorite one out all three shorts.
Same here. Always loved the scene with Jessica tied to the tracks. 😍💓
Mine too.
I love how Roger is just as confused as we are about Jessica and Droopy being there. You know he prob complained in his memoirs
Jessica - Oh save me… save me. ☹️
Roger Rabbit - What? 🤔😯
Jessica - Save me!!!! 😡
Roger Rabbit - Screams 😨
Droopy - Curses foiled again. ☹️
Roger Rabbit - Huh! 🤔🤨😲
5:48
Jessica Rabbit: (softly) Save me. Save me.
Roger Rabbit: (shouts) What?
Jessica Rabbit: SAVE ME!!!
They should have tied a bandana over Jessica's mouth.
.
It would have been the greatest gag in the whole cartoon.
@@flashkellam7395 A-haaa, ISWYDT
Droopy: "Curses. Foiled again."
These shorts reminds of my trip to Branson last October
Apparently, this was the short that soured Spielberg's relationship with Disney, as Michael Eisner released it with DICK TRACY (whereas Spielberg wanted it included with ARACHNOPHOBIA). The third short was already underway, but by time that one came out, Spielberg had already jumped the Disney trip and moved on, and TRAIL MIX-UP was just tossed randomly to a film NOBODY remembers called A FAR OFF PLACE.
Ummm, I do... I love that movie.
I can understand Michael Eisner’s decision to release Roller Coaster Rabbit alongside Dick Tracy, as the Roger Rabbit movie was about Detective work; but releasing the third short to something that either is bad, or doesn’t connect to a theme, is a bad decision.
I wanna see that movie because it stars Reese Witherspoon. I find anything with her to be enjoyable.
Save me
Save me
What?
SAVE ME! >:O
Droopy: Curses. Foiled again.
6:35 whoaaaaaaaaaaa
That was nicely frenetic. It fits right alongside 'Somethin's Cookin'' from the movie.
Imagine being an actor and having to do all of that in one shot.
Roger Rabbit should be a TV show
Play toon? Really Roger?
They did planned a Roger Rabbit TV series in the early 90's which it was going be part live action, but they replaced it with a fully animated show starring Bonkers from Disney's Raw Toonage.
I was born in 83. And this my first 🎥 I've 1st Loved and understood
Herman crying over a balloon is nothing compared to him crying over a cigar.
4:26 Bad baby. That is not a bull's cigar. XD
Don’t cry baby Herman, uncle Roger will get you a new balloon!
Now you stay here, be a good boy and don’t get into trouble!
2:31 You'd think they would've stopped throwing darts once they saw a freaking baby crawl up there.
5:48
Jessica Rabbit: Save me, save me...

OMG 😍 i love Roger Rabbit
6:55 Anyone else notice these two fangirls of Roger behind the director?
The way they eye him is just plain adorable!
🥰🥰
Roger has fangirls 🥰
Man I love how comical and funny cartoons used to be
I remember watching this 1990 Roger Rabbit short film for the first time on DVD 📀 when I was a teenager. I thought I never saw any Disney shorts like that before in my entire life.
The film director becomes furious 😡💢 with Roger for ruining his masterpiece and he orders him to do the whole scene again but Roger refuses.
5:14: That’s a lot of coaster!
Cartoons back then: slapstick, witty humor, the occasional innuendo
Cartoons of today: LET'S BE FRIENDS AND COUNT OUR NUMBERS!!

One particular cartoon of today: "LET IT GOOOO, LET IT GOOOOO; I'M GONNA RUN AWAY FROM MY PROBLEMS!!"

If Only Warner Bros., Hanna-Barbera and MGM Made The Roger Rabbit Shorts Instead of Disney !
At the time Turner owned Droopy and he didn't have a animation studio yet. This was before he bought Hanna Barbara.
This originally played in 1990
in theaters with "Dick Tracy".
Actually, The Movie "Dick Tracy" Is Actually From Universal Pictures.
@@NilesKelly-cr5rh Dick Tracy is actually made from Touchstone Pictures.
This was an animated PG-rated short with Dick Tracy.
Are we just going to ignore the fact that Roger yanked off Mommy's underwear and never give it back?
There was a clever reference to Pinocchio at the beginning of the short too. On one of the walls they walked by while Roger was talking was a sign describing "the wooden boy."
They should make new Rodger rabbit shorts, in the style of traditional animation. They can hand paint the background but they can skam the drawings and digitally paint them or they could draw the characters on iPads with the animation software.
I'll planning on bringing the 2-D animated style from Disney once again for my dream job and I will also be movie director as well. These are my biggest dream job in the future 🙌
@iandanielcassidy8126 You and I are kindred spirits. Those are my dream jobs too, except for the Disney part because Disney stinks these days.
How it feels when you mention “Amphibia > The Owl House” 3:05
4:25 can’t believe they got away with that gag
4:16 Hey, you're not Baby Herman.
If Disney and Amblin could have just stopped being stupid about ownership, we'd have like 30 of these by now. Instead, we got three.
