    This is awesome! How long do you wait to rinse the detergent off?

    • @TheGlitterGoddess
      @TheGlitterGoddess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You rinse it off immediately after spray painting it 😊

    Do you epoxy after you spray paint or not until after

    I love how they came out & tried but my cup came out with crackles. Why did it crackle

    • @TheGlitterGoddess
      @TheGlitterGoddess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, sorry I'm just seeing your comment. I'm not sure why it would crackle but I have experienced that before when I spray painted in very cold weather. Might be the culprit if it's also cold where you are

    How did you make the coffee cup safe to drink out of after you painted it? It was beautiful and now I feel I need a new mom cup.

    • @TheGlitterGoddess
      @TheGlitterGoddess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I cleaned any paint that went in the rim then did a few layers of epoxy on the cup!

      @@TheGlitterGoddess I don't know how I didn't think of this. You don't have problems getting it around the handle?

    • @TheGlitterGoddess
      @TheGlitterGoddess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope no problems with doing the handle!

    Does this work with any Dish soap? :)

    Did you have to put expoxy over it when you finished? How long do you have to wait before you can give the cup away?

    • @TheGlitterGoddess
      @TheGlitterGoddess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't have to use epoxy you can use brite tone (what I use currently) if you're looking for epoxy free. I wouldn't leave it with just paint though because it won't last very long and I am not sure if it would be toxic or not on it's on.

    That is super creative I Love it!! But I was wondering what should you do to prevent paint going on the inside of the cup in case you are designing it to sell?

    • @TheGlitterGoddess
      @TheGlitterGoddess  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I sell almost all the cups I make so I usually either tape the inside or just take some acetone and clean it up 😊

    Do you do a layer of epoxy before the power wash?

    • @TheGlitterGoddess
      @TheGlitterGoddess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't, but you can if you want! I've done several with no problems just leave plenty of time for it to dry in between

    Does it matter what temperature the water is?

    • @TheGlitterGoddess
      @TheGlitterGoddess  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not too sure, I just use water from the tap so room temp basically.
