I think if you combine functionality with practical pocket carry, the "Walker" is perhaps the perfect SAK. Not only good for everyday functions with the blade and combo tool, but also a good "in the woods" tool. If you are into making those pocket EDC/Emergency/1st Aid kits, the "Walker" is the perfect "Altoid Kit" knife too, because at 3.25", it fits.
Hello. I recently had a Lumberjack passe through my hands for cleaning but was unable to date it exactly. Tobias sent me so i have subbed. All the best.
Didn't know about the 91mm Lumberjack. Pretty cool info on the Lumberjack/Walker. It's like the minimalist version of the Camper! I dig it. I like what you did with the lanyard/fob! Have you thought about using the scissors from a 74 mm Amabassador? Not sure if those or scissors from a Wenger 85 mm could be modified to work but they are readily available compared to true 84 mm scissors. Good luck with the subs!
The 74mm and 84mm scissors are very close but the tang is way too small on the 74. I have a couple of old Wengers coming with the leaf spring style scissors I think they may be close enough to work.
@@swizzarmygrizz Well, there are a lot of Swiss Army Knife enthusiasts out there and your videos are better than most. Keep 'em coming and I'm sure your audience will grow.
Diggin the yellow lanyard, the firesteel is a great spin on that. Great video
The Walker has been my EDC for about 2 yrs now. Great utility in a small package. If they had an Alox model I would buy it in a Hurry.
They have made Alox versions in the past, but they rarely come up for sale and are big money when they do.

I’m a fan. It depends on what I’m doing but a Walker/Lumberjack is probably my ideal SAK for sitting around a camp fire drinking beer.
I just got the walker and I'll have to say I love it.atb paddy
I saw. Looks like you’re becoming a SAK collector after all.
@@swizzarmygrizz lol flipping addiction is real I've about 25 now.🤣🤣
@@paddyspotatopeelers2154 you think “I’ll just get one or two” but that’s not going to happen. Lol
I remember when you weren’t going to buy anymore lol

Cool knife I wasn't familiar with. Any chance of you doing a video showing how you made the paracord fire starter?
Sorry I missed this comment. Yes I can do a video showing the lanyard being made. Still trying to learn what and how much people actually want to see.
