King Malmsteen today! Well, Ymgwie J. Malmsteen was one of my favourite guitar player at all, not so much to be a virtuoso but to truly play with heart and blood, with passion! In ballads the atmosphere is very solemn, the melody at the beginning looks like a national anthem, the long notes are lyrical and sustained! Let's hilight something about long scales rubato runs: you may find yourself in trouble with all the irregular groupings, groups of 7, 9, 11 notes! I'm sure Yngwie never has taught a rhythmical division like that, he plays as fast as he can “feeling” when to start and when to finish every scale run and so is good for you to do: for every run the best way is to learn all the sequence, feel (or count) when to start but play as fast as you can, “pushing” all the notes together, feeling when to stop on the last note which is “a tempo”! Forse uno dei brani e uno dei video dall'anima più pop di Yngwie qui dal sound un po' in stile Europe del periodo Norum (il bassista John Leven suonò proprio con Yngwie a inizio carriera). Il tema iniziale mi sa di già sentito ma non riesco a ricordare dove... come al solito esecuzione impeccabile, é straordinario come tu riesca a passare attraverso diversi sound e tecniche di chitarristi di altimissimo livello.
Il tema iniziale sembra un inno nazionale 😂 io Malmsteen l'ho sempre adorato per l'enfasi con cui suona, non tanto per il virtuosismo! Grazie mille del complimento, nel corso degli anni ho cercato a turno di suonare come ciascuno di loro... versione dei poveri! Però ora me la sto godendo!
