I'd argue Asura Breaker deserves an honorable mention even if it's a front attacker. It's basically blue gunlancer, with extreme amounts of damage. Technically has no rotation, as you just alternate yellow and blue skills. Only needs 1 high level gem to dish out meta damage. Crit swift, which is super easy to build. And it's shield. Push immunity, damage reduction, 40% hp and as if that's not enough it has zero cast point, meaning you can cast it while performing a different skill. It's 1v1 in solo raids, meaning the boss will keep turning to face you. Just asking to get punched in the face.
I had asura and NE in this video up until the very last moment. You do make a great point about in solo how the boss is always looking at you. I just opted away mainly for the front attack reasoning being a little too much as your very first character experience, but I more than likely should have just left it in. Appreciate the suggestion, hopefully others see this!
I recently came back after a long break and this is what I've used for solo raids on ilvl or a bit higher. I have mainly been running brel and kayangel with a bit of kakul mixed in for fun. Hoping to get 1 character to Akkan ilvl soon. Summoner Comm. Overflow; great class for being able to dodge damage while still doing damage. Very good stagger with steed and ancient spear. Sorc Reflux; very quick class with an extra dodge ability with blink. If you don't need a counter during the fight, actually very durable with Elegian’s Touch. Damage is not great. The other spec Igniter has incredible damage but need more fight awareness. I'm going to switch back to Igniter. Souleater Night's edge; very quick class and great damage. Easy enough to start as with a 422 variant. Stagger is not as good as some others, but you can select the stagger bonus and bring a whirlwind potion if necessary. Sharpshooter Deathstrike; Good damage but have to watch your cooldowns leading into stagger checks. The mix of melee and range actually suits a lot of raids well. Loyal companion is likely even better for solo and a bit more relaxed but I haven't tried it yet. Of these, my personal preference for ease of play for solo raids would be NE Souleater. Even without an ideal rotation, the damage is really good.
I think that's a great list, NE SE is usually my go-to for someone new. Only slid off my list since I can imagine its ghast form can be annoying for a new player, but in hindsight, its damage is good regardless of proper rotation. LC SS is super good for new players, very relaxed, and doesn't really require the melee too much besides an odd top-up of gauge. I just didn't want to list it since its damage is a little doomer if they switch to PVE and DS isn't for everyone aha.
can confirm NE SE is the best or 2nd best toon to run solo at ilevel up to Akkan . My point of comparison is DI SH , reflux sorc , RE Blade and TTH GS. NE SE Damage is extremely good with just lv 7 gems , however DI SH has the self healing also very good.
Great list can't argue against any here. One high honorable mention should be First Intention Wardancer. Decent damage, great mobility, high uptime on skills, easy rotation, and duo synergy. Only slight downside is having to deal with C/J. But with practice that is pretty easy to pick up on.
I did have FI in a prelim list, but it was literally C/J, builds using dominion, and EC timing that pushed it off. Its a great pick nonetheless, one of my favorite alt characters to play as its pretty chill and mobility is huge. Appreciate the comment friend!
souealter(both engravings) and sorceress(both engravings) are very easy too, each skill you use from them, in the burst, takes a lot of hp from the boss, and sends him straight to the mechs. For example, I played with practically all the classes mentioned in solo mode, and apart from Deadeye, Souealter Moon, Akkan was the one I did the fastest (with 1580).
Something to note: Red GL is often below Blue in damage these days (as seen in logs, red is quite often literally the worst DPS in the game) and is even further behind moving into T4 ark passive. As a very slow positional attacker I'd highly recommend staying away from Red unless you just really like the aesthetic of it. Unless you see it getting it's damage basically doubled it's just not worth the effort.
After watching my friend play red, it is very intriguing to me at the moment tbh based on the numbers he was seeing at 1580. I think most average GL players suffer from the fact that they think they are just synergy bots and aren’t necessarily meant to do big damage, I think if there’s another event I’ll try it out.
Shadow Hunter is very good for learning new raids, both class engravings are good but overall Demonic Impulses is better. And in general any class that is Swiftness + Hit Master is very easy to play such as Reflux Sorcerer and Night's Edge Souleater.
I'm biased towards DI SH because of my nostalgia, but the current state of game makes me think its the best time for a new player to try it out and thrive!
strongly suggest Mark run GS 💀 I would also strongly recommend reflux sorc and night edge soul eater, both are super easy for solo raid , TTH GS as well
@@IntoTheCrawlspace Yeah TTH use only 2 stands : pistol and rifle so easier to play than PM ( all 3 stands) . Pistoleer use only 1 stand the pistol however Pistoleer need to run spec crit if I rmb correctly , while TTH has a full swift and spec swift build beside the standard spec/crit build which are also very mobile.
It seems to be implied that it was moved to October 9th via “Apart from Behemoth, everything announced for the September Update will now release on October 9.”. But it could be earlier, I don’t know if they plan to do a big push for the game throughout September or are fully saving for October now.
Im surprised you have not recommended asura breaker for solo mode. The bosses always face you, so front attacks are guaranteed. You are super tanky and dish out insane dmg. I think it's one of the best solo mode classes in the game even though it's an entropy class.
It’s just the fact that it’s entropy is what the deciding factor is for me. I just wanted the most simple characters possible for this list. I would love to see a new player play an asura, I imagine it would be easy, but I don’t know if the punching window would fluster them. The shield would definitely be great aid for them.

From a baseline it is, but it has positional reliance and an exhaustion factor that isnt necessarily new player friendly, it’s not hard or anything but everything on this list you can hop right in with the base line understanding of the class and have a decent time in raid
Well ignite servers launch on Wednesday and they will let you transfer into any server once you level the character you want to lock in, you can transfer to the existing server you were on or a new one with this advanced leveled character. Ignite servers are super good for everyone, especially new or returning players and they let you try 6 different classes so you can see what you like and want to play in the server you transfer eventually to.

Blue has incredible amounts of shields and push immunity, red has some of this, but blue has an incredible amount. You can easily swap between them to test out nowadays, but to begin with I’d opt into blue! Take a look at the Mark solo series if you haven’t to see how easy it looks with this class!
Not a single supp there? I know they are not easy but people will watch this video and be thinking "ohhh, I will try one of this". And by the time you are about to go into thae and echid you are struggling to find a supp to fill the raid. And people are wondering "Why is everyone quitting?" because of this kind of recommendation to new and returning players. Good luck playing on Ignite server with that.
Hey man, I’ve put supports in my class picks for my past 3 class picks videos for new players. This video is specifically for easy classes in solo raids for players new to the game, from my understanding supports are all horrendous picks for doing solo raids. If you check out any of the past ones you will see paladin makes a placement every time and I explain the multitudes of reasons why someone should pick it. It just doesn’t make sense for a video about solo raids to promote supports.

Bonk destroyer carried my solo raids on ignite in a day or two, and got me 1620.
the fact that in solo the boss is always looking at you makes the bonk man so powerful, great pick!

I like the reaper, but its definetly not easy isnt it? I would say its a back attack oriented character eh?
Reaper isn’t easy at all, it’s very glassy but hits pretty hard and has great mobility and high apm options if you like this aesthetic of its class
So Gunlancer is the easiest class to do all solo raid?
Little rocky on Akkan in bits, but with the recent nerf I’d say so.
