Jennifer, I bought your book but watching you actually doing the bouillon lazy daisy really helped me understand the stitch. Thank you sooo much for taking the time to demo the stitch. I also love-love hearing your stories. Have a blessed sabbath 🌈💚🙏💚🌈
Beautiful stitching Jennifer , thank you for your time and explanation of this lovely looking stitch. ❤ the butcher birds make a lovely song , I do like them even though they are very brutal to other birds.
Thank you Jennifer for the video and as always the teaching. I learn so much from your snippets and I am about to attempt ribbon embroidery another first. I am really loving your style of stitching, I agree with Corrine we need tee shirts with unfortunate on it. I find myself saying that as I work in the project.
Gorgeous work, a delight to watch. At the moment my days are filled with eager anticipation, almost childlike, looking out of the window when postman is due….. I’ve ordered myself a slightly early birthday gift….. ‘foolproof flower embroidery’ by Jennifer Clouston. How wonderful is that…. can’t wait to experience the smell of the new pages and the excitement of starting my new project with some new silks and my hexagon Grandmothers flower garden which has been languishing in my embroidery box for TOO LONG. Oooooo, hurry up Postie😊.

Hi Jennifer luving ur videos ❤ so keen on learning Embroidery for my slow stitching can you learn this by the book or do you need to attend classes? Thanx for sharing 😀 Watching from QLD
Hi, sorry about the late reply. Books are really a good way to learn but , I think, being in a class you learn so much more than just how to do the stitch. Happy stitching! Regards Jenny C
Hello, I have enjoyed learning technique and seeing your beautiful work via YT! I have attempted and completed an embroidered portrait, my first, and I have a dilemma. I am trying to frame it but it is all puffy and won't lie flat. How can I correct it...what am I doing wrong?
Hi, it’s difficult for me to see what the problem is without a photo. Just a few things, did you stabilize the fabric, did you work in a hoop, and have you tried to press the work from the wrong side of the work? Regards Jenny C
@jenniferclouston7545 oops, I started with hoop but I ran out of hoop space! I thought "oh I should see if YT had instructions after I msg you. I thought of ironing but I worked so many hours on it I thought I might ruin it! I ended up using a polymer medium. I stacked books on it, it all seemed to go well until I had to remove from frame several times. I would send photo but don't see how from YT. I will see if I can on IG! Thank you!
Hmmmmm Something to make with those hexie that I loved stitching oh soooo cute love the contrast of colors.

Beautiful work you are such in inspiration.. can you please tell us what the red chalk pen is that you are using.. thank you
Hi April, Thank you! It is a Bohin chalk pencil. BUT please only use the white the other colours do not come off!!!
Are items made with ribbon able to be laundered or cleaned? (I am new to using ribbon.)
They can be washed gently. X
