If you have the ability to, I suggest taking both boats out for a thorough demo in rough water. You may find what we did, the 281CE can handle the seas like the 271 Canyon and can get you into the back bays.
The B60 and B175 are good thru-hull transducers for this boat. This one has the b60, but the 175 works great for deeper waters. Hanging off the back is the GT30TM, but, the 56UHD would also be an excellent combo to pair w the b175
@@joefishtale I’m thinking a GT56 UHD and b175M thru hull. Looks like you have to remove the aft livewell to get the thru hull in, but looks like it’s designed that way

Do you recall what Airmar transducer you used? And is that the GT52 on the transom?
