my 2014 325 ace starts and runs fine then it wont start at all. No kind of pattern. No lights on the dash, no fuel pump, nothing. It actually turned off one time while it was idling in my yard and it would not start at all with no power to the dash or fuel pump. I took off the ignition switch, took it apart and pinned it out. It pins out perfectly. I started cleaning everything under the seat around the battery. Disconnected terminals and cleaned them up. After messing with fuse box and the wiring I got some power to the fuel pump but not the cluster and it would not crank. I am going to check the wires you are talking about. If you have any suggestions let me know. I also have the service manual if you need some schematics hit me up.

So i went to trouble shoot exactly what you said and I was getting continuity between 1, 2, 12 and 24 at the fuse box. So that kind of made me think something else is wrong. But there are 2 more wires spliced in to the bunch. One goes to the ignition and the other to the diagnostic. It turns out it was the ignition switch wire "C" that was corroded at the same place your wire was. Hope this helps someone.

How are you getting 24 volts at the fuse box?
