Respect. I have been collecting for 30 years. Still have the first DVD I bought with my own money. I just love curating my collection and sharing with friends.
I started buying VHS back in the day , then upgraded to DVD . After having over 600 DVD movies Blu-Ray came out so I jumped into Blu Ray . Now jumping into collecting more 4ks
New fan. I, too, use cd cases I buy off Amazon for my movies, but I put TV seasons in mine because I'm not a fan of how complete series' are packaged most of the time.
Man this video makes me miss Blockbuster so bad. I would say that most of my collection is used too. The only new media I'm getting right now is either 4k releases or box sets. I'll do the sales if there is something I really want to get. Having 50 of your favorite movies to watch anytime is such a good idea for starting a collection. I started out of necessity. There was a movie that was streaming but it was only the theatrical version. I was so bummed that I couldn't watch the full version so I ordered it online the next day! Then that started the ball rolling on the rest of my collection. My problem right now is space. I have a media shelf, but it's overflowing. I'm going to have to get something else to store the rest of my collection. Any suggestions for how to store or display physical media?
Ive seen Peter Cushing in 1959s "the Flesh and the Fiends" about four times. This includes the Australian title Mania. The Kino Lorber Flesh and the Fiends dvd is the one with better picture quality. Only after the first 5 minutes of the movie. Cheers.

It’s common to see Ikea Billy bookcases with inserts to fit media cases better.
