I absolutely agree with you on your thoughts and opinions of Bella Swan. I’ll go a step further and say how much I dislike the actress Kristen Stewart too. I don’t think she’s a good actress at all. Perhaps a different actress with better script could have made Bella Swan a more interesting character in the movie series. I did read all the books and also agree that the writing could have been better however, I did enjoy them much better than the movies. I was on team Edward only because I’m fascinated by vampires more so than werewolves in general (although there have been some very good werewolf movies and they’re really overdue in making a new one). Anyway, looking forward to your next movie critique and I’ll certainly look into Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.😊 Keep safe. 🥰
The funniest thing about the Twilight series for me is that my dad who is a nerd/horror fan LOVES these movies. He finds the entire plot to be so entertaining despite Twilight being anything but your typical old school vampire movie. I also loved Sharkboy and Lavagirl as a kid. Probably still even have the 3D glasses hidden in the DVD case. Also, it is okay to be a furry Kevin. Coming out of the closet should be easier the second time around. ;)
Kevin, this is way off the subject, but have you seen LOVE, VICTOR (a spin-off of LOVE, SIMON on Hulu)? The show recently completed its second season, and a third season is scheduled for next year. It's the most poignant and meaningful LGBT-themed show I've seen. If you decide to watch it, please share with us your thoughts. I'm really enjoying your channel!

I live in Texas and my manager is from Dalian China and there is a large cultural difference between her and I. My parents are from Europe and I was born near New York City and there is not a huge cultural difference between western Europe and the US. My boyfriend from long ago was from Nanking China and he adapted well to the US. He immigrated to the US in the 1990s due to his sexual orientation. I had a friend long ago who also grew up in the NYC area and his parents were from S. Korea and they were pretty homophobic and conservative. He was always mad at them. Not only do you have to deal with all of the problems of being an immigrant and a minority but then you also have to deal with all the issues revolving around being gay. I guess you just gotta make the best of it.
I remember that series... My reason to watch was purely for the guys...though I will be completely honest, I never shipped the were-vamp pairing...actually I was entirely ignorant of such stuff when the second movie was launched in theaters...and I was still maintaining a pretty solid ignorance of popular culture too...a position that has become almost entirely eroded by the fact that I spend so much time online now...I still maintain more distance than people would have thought possible though.
As for the personality deal...I had reached the conclusion by the age of eight, that what other people thought of me wasn't particularly important... Especially if they couldn't acknowledge me as being equally human. Nothing scares adults like a child who behaves abnormally mature, only to find them freaking out if you manage to actually do something stupid in their presence that displeased them... The way I went fro 0-60 wasn't funny... I still can be that way, but you have to do some incredibly stupid things to actually experience it... And the things a person has to do would actually make most people furious anyways... No, what's scary is that I can tolerate it longer, and if you don't listen when I grant you warnings... Don't be surprised if you end up completely afraid of me...
I would really enjoy if you did a "gay awakening" series. My background and gay awakening is deeply rooted in the Midwest farm belt, so I think it's fascinating to hear about the experiences of others, particularly for such a rich background as yours! The twilight saga - what I've been able to sit through on cable before flipping anyway - is incredibly vapid. The interesting side bet however is when, if ever, TL will stop skulking around clubs and actually come out publicly. Or is that just impossible if you have any hope left of a quasi leading man career - tanks the obvious fan base. Straights can play gay and do fine these days but gays, with the notable exception of NPH, can't do the reverse. Whatever increasing societal acceptance does bring, it has not canceled the reptile brain response - and may never, 'woke' or not.

Hi Kevin, this was interesting in the fact I’m not sure what constitutes as a gay awakening. I’m not sure 🤔 if I related to movies as an ideological format for understanding my sexuality. As you’ve stated, I too moved here from Quebec when young, hence feeling awkward and bullied because I wasn’t versed in the English language . As for the Twilight series, I watched them actually just about just a few years ago. I had many distractions and felt unable to stay connected to the series. Albeit I did enjoy Jacob masculinity 😘. This was absolutely entertaining and hopefully you’ll get to promote other movies and or series. I hope your enjoying your new home,please stay safe and healthy with admiration ❤️🏳️🌈🙋♂️ PS I find it ironic that TH-cam place the Twilight Series on my tablet lol 😆
