I rarely follow any watercolor channels because majority of them is just ego brushing, and folks bragging about their artwork. This however is genuinely helpful and i feel like i am learning something. Thank you for your instructional videos, and thanks for whomever is translating.
I’ve a few amazing channels, there is this guy Liron, very chill and tutorials/tips are amazing, there used to be more active channels when this comment was posted but it’s hard to survive TH-cam algorithm so in 2024 there ain’t many.
Love the demonstration at the end using the skill you just taught. It's so satisfying to watch a master at work. I'll be trying out these techniques soon!
You could never talk to much. So much wisdom and humor to share! Please talk all you want to. Thank you for sharing your experience and your knowledge!
I'm struggling with watercolours at artschool (especially compared to other students, which makes me anxious) but your tutorials encouraged me to work it so it can become as fun, relaxing and pleasing as you do it! Thank you for your work!
I swear I'm not a "painter person" means I dont paint (like at all) but I still watch your videos just like I watch Bob Ross's joy of painting because it's soothing to watch . Thanks for uploading on a regular basis.
Fantastic! I love your magic tips! This is a brilliant way to not throw away paint and still get dry brush! Thank you! I enjoy your videos very much. Your humour and smile are infectious and I smile as I watch you paint and teach.
I watched and have been practicing dry brush technique. I thought the same thing you taught. The general dry brush technique leaves a lot of paint of a towel and runs out quickly when I take my brush to my paper. I do prefer Mr. Shibasaki's style. Thanks for another great lesson.
Over the summer I had decided that I wanted to try using watercolor. One night I sat down to paint and I was so disheartened. I tried so hard but my failures got the better of me and I did not pick up my paints again for a few months. Seeing your videos, Shibasaki san, the way you teach brings me hope to try again. You make it much less scary. I am learning so much and look forward to painting soon. arigatou gozaimasu shibasaki san!
His smile is contageous. Every time his editor zooms in on that smile after his pause I can't help but smile too. How lucky we all are to be able to be given free lessons on a regular basis by Shibasaki. Thank you.
@@WatercolorbyShibasaki ❤️❤️!!! Thank you so much for all your hard work. We appreciate all your hard work that goes into the videos! Translations are always well done! ❤️❤️
How could you be so sweet like rosogulla [ it's a indian sweet dish , it is very sweet, we indians ( bengali ) tell to person who is very sweet with others ] i love the way you talk and the way you teach the people 😊 thank you grandpa for your lesson
I tried your dry brush technique and I was able to do it on the first try! I didn't have to change a thing on the brush strokes! Thank you, Shibasaki-san!
I remember when i discover that by changing the angle you could make a dry brush style! (i wasnt crazy after all!!!) Thanks for all your videos, im learning a lot thanks to you :) p.s. the sound effects work great with the way you teach!
Thank you Mr. Shibasaki. I learn something from every video you post. Please be well so you can go on making beautiful paintings to share with the world. Thank you. Love your work.
Dear Sir, I am so grateful for your generosity in showing so many techniques and sharing things that I couldn't believe I would find for free! Your videos are incredibly sweet and kind! I am praying for your health and am always eager to see your new posts!! Hugs from Romania!!
I haven't painted in about 10 years or more and I will not be able to, for about another month. Very hard to resist but will have to for now ☺ Thank you for these videos.☺☺☺ These keep me going 🎨
Sensei, your videos really help me improve my works, as a beginner i still have a lot of things that i dont know about painting. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!
Thank you for teaching technique. As much as I enjoyed watching you paint and no matter how inspiring, the earlier videos I watched were not instructional. I can't make a satisfactory painting if I don't have the techniques necessary. Thank you so very much.
I am unable to understand a single word you say, but you are the best teacher and I learn so much from you! Thank you so much! I have extreme respect for you dear Sir 💗🙏
I showed these lessons to my mom. She doesn't know english or japanese, and she isn't even interested in art! But she was charmed by the artist's positive attitude.
I tend to use way too much water and end up really messing with the texture of my paper. My little niece and I make watercolors together sometimes so I want to learn better techniques, thank you so much for being very descriptive!
Thank you Sensei Shibasaki san.. you gently open the gate to beautiful new worlds for me. Now, to practise, practise, PRACTISE! So exciting. I love the painting which hangs behind you as you are speaking. Wishing you much joy and good health.
Thank you, thank you for doing this important video. It will help me so much. After watching your lesson I did several paintings and what a huge difference. I am so grateful. My heartfelt thank you.
Shibasaki Sensei i have been looking for a good channel to learn watercolor painting for sometime now. Honestly after watching your videos and tutorials I feel like I have attended some really expensive workshops. You have put your lifetime experience in these videos. And above all your way of teaching is just amazing. Arigatou gozaimasu🌸🌸🌸
i just started watching your series yesterday. i really enjoy it, i think im going to try and learn some japanese so i can listen to it with out using subtitles. it sounds like a lot of the painting words are the same as english, and its easy to figure out the ones that are not. thank you again. i love your teaching.
I always skip adds, but for this very kind grandpa who shares his technique for us, I'll watch all the adds for him 😁

Thank you for your instructional videos, and thanks for whomever is translating.
Yeah and other watercolour channels are way too complicated.
And some of them are just promoting their patreons in their time lapse vids with a caption of "TuToRiAl" -___-

this tutor got the best smile award, so friendly easy to learn, thank you Shibasaki

Love the demonstration at the end using the skill you just taught. It's so satisfying to watch a master at work. I'll be trying out these techniques soon!
The MAGIC of saving a lot of expensive paint 😀. And the end result is much much better!
I love to see on how you can utilize just a single brush to give many different strokes. So creative!
Shibasaki style is the best! Master you are also very funny. Please stop apologizing for talking too much.🤗🤗🤗

Hi, I would like to thank you for your tutorials. They are excellent and helping me. Would you like to know the brush model? A big hug from Brazil
I love how you give very specific and useful tips in your videos, thank you for the video!!

Sir , you are a Gem. Thank you so much for these lessons. I am learning a lot from you. Thank you. God bless you.

the video editor is a master. i always lost at the closes he gives when shibasaki is silente haha
