Breathtaking! I nearly cried when I saw your technique. I gave up painting years ago cos I didn't know how to achieve the 'wash' effect. Thank you! You have rekindled my old love for painting!

Looks like tissues or paper towels to me. Sponges do the same as well.

You are a very talented painter! I am astonished of the beauty you can make. I have two questions for you: first, the brushes you use are Japanese or Chinese? Second do you use little pieces of sponge, fabric, or paper? Thank you for your tutorials. I wish that they could be not too fast.

wow....all japanese, chinese and korean artists are sooooo talented....the teaching in these countries must be amazing...pls tell me if there is a summer/winter school in your country that teaches this way of painting? I'd love to come for a few weeks of incredible tuition.

Beautiful stuff - I have a simple request - PLEASE state somewhere what colors you are using. It would be a tremendous help for watercolorists everywhere. Showing them so briefly is nice, but perhaps their names could be included in the title area.

I really liked the initial technique of swirling the water colors around and I found it genius to draw the tree branches with the painting upside-down, so you could apply the pressure to the brush more naturally, from up to down and therefore doing the right branch thickness. Thanks for showing!
