Love this broadcast as i was visiting some very ill family members. I did not get ill. Hope i shared the good bacteria with them. They are not thrilled with my kefir and kombucha.

That is wonderful, it reminds me of a quote said by prophet Mohammed about drinking after a faithful person (same cup) bring willingness to sick people .. I can relate it to the good bacteria he holds due to his enlightenment and harmony with nature

I love listening to what you have to share with us & seeing how you do things!! I started doing my daughter talked me into making kombucha & then she said I needed to make kefir too! I thought I wouldn't know how to do it. You have been a big help too! I love learning!! :o-) Oh & started doing sauerkraut now too!! Keep doing all the videos. They are so helpful/informative!

I feel your passion, Donna. I feel the same way about the microbiome. But I didn't know about the cloud of bacteria! I am sure it impacts others through our speech which involves lots of breath. Over 20 years ago i heard of kombucha and there was advice that it was dangerous but I had the feeling the advice was wrong. I was right.
    You're wonderful! 🫂 hug!

hi Donna, thank you! do you think it will help my health to drink kefir daily for the rest of my life, also I am following low carb high fat for weight loss, is kefir helping me lose weight?

Hi! It has ceratinly helped me to have kefir everyday! Kefir is great for low carb as the fermentation process consumes almost all the sugars and a lot of the natural carbs in milk. Weight loss is different for everyone. So it depends on a lot of factors. But I love it!

I have one quick question, I ordered your grains and now I have a lot, no one around me uses them yet so I wanted to know how to store them use them or what I can do with the extra. Thanks

@@CulturedFoodLife thanks, some said to freeze them but I knew you would know since I wasn't sure.

You *can* freeze them, but this isn't a good long term solution. They don't like to be frozen very much.

You can put them in your smoothies or feed them to pets! I'm coming up with more ways to use them up as well :)
