At their peaks, it's Magic. 2nd worst defender here, didn't have a great jumpshot, and had a top 10 player in the league on his team for like 70% of his NBA career. Never really carried his team to a championship either. His playmaking, passing, rebounding and leadership are his only real redeeming attributes but he just simply wasn't that good of a scorer or jumpshooter at his peak and his game was so simple. I think that brings him down.

For people saying it’s Kobe, despite him shooting a ton of missed 3 pointers, he’s hit the hardest shots out of everyone here. Majoratively because he’s double teamed, if not triple teamed a lot. His midrange I think is better and better in the post. While Dwyane Wade facilitates around the team better, has better court vision, pick n rolls and kick outs , Kobe being able to pass during a shot which he does often makes him a much better player offensively if paired with a teammate who is also great offensively. Defensively, Dwyane Wade does have slightly better side to side foot movement which makes him harder to beat off the dribble and better in drop coverage and to space out with on defence if need to cover the wing or the guy on the roll. Kobe is slightly better in isolation imo since his timing, smartness at forcing them into uncomfortable positions is just unmatched, but Dwyane Wades defensive playmaking is slightly better. For me, it’s between Magic and Dwyane Wade. Dwyane Wade finishes at the rim better and has a better midrange, yet Magic has a good hook, and being the best playmaker and passer of all time does help in creating space to be as good of a scorer hence why I think he’s has more offensive production but defensively, he’s fairly easily beat off the dribble and not the best at using the paint in contest for a rebound compared to the other bigs, people talk about the steals but those are from assisting the other defenders and taking rough risks on steals at times they work but mostly does give a free driving lane. Id rather Magic on my team but on defence, he more so guards the guy off ball and ones who try to cut in more than the guy who is the great scorer and because of the offensive production he provides, I think Dwyane Wade is the worst out of the rest.

Kareem’s length, size, athleticism and agility really help him, his athletics and length allow for great finishing around the rim, if you stop a drive, he can slow down and go for a sky hook or a spin sky hook. In the post, he kind of only has that spin hook or hook. While it does work in isolation, a big problem can come especially in modern day NBA if that if someone comes in for help on defence, they can easily stop Kareem and Kareem doesn’t pass a lot which doesn’t help his case. But I’d chose him on my team over the other 2 due to his defence being very good and better than both Dwyane Wade and Magic combined I think. His great side to side movement makes it hard to beat off the dribble, he can time steals very well due to his long reach, and block shots due to his reach and athleticism, his athleticism, height and length allows him to leave his man and help another defender while recovering on time and also due to his attributes, he will get majority of the rebounds. I was basing how good are they and who I’d rather have on my team.

For people saying it’s Kobe, despite him shooting a ton of missed 3 pointers, he’s hit the hardest shots out of everyone here. Majoratively because he’s double teamed, if not triple teamed a lot. His midrange I think is better and better in the post. While Dwyane Wade facilitates around the team better, has better court vision, pick n rolls and kick outs , Kobe being able to pass during a shot which he does often makes him a much better player offensively if paired with a teammate who is also great offensively.
Defensively, Dwyane Wade does have slightly better side to side foot movement which makes him harder to beat off the dribble and better in drop coverage and to space out with on defence if need to cover the wing or the guy on the roll. Kobe is slightly better in isolation imo since his timing, smartness at forcing them into uncomfortable positions is just unmatched, but Dwyane Wades defensive playmaking is slightly better.
For me, it’s between Magic and Dwyane Wade. Dwyane Wade finishes at the rim better and has a better midrange, yet Magic has a good hook, and being the best playmaker and passer of all time does help in creating space to be as good of a scorer hence why I think he’s has more offensive production but defensively, he’s fairly easily beat off the dribble and not the best at using the paint in contest for a rebound compared to the other bigs, people talk about the steals but those are from assisting the other defenders and taking rough risks on steals at times they work but mostly does give a free driving lane.
Id rather Magic on my team but on defence, he more so guards the guy off ball and ones who try to cut in more than the guy who is the great scorer and because of the offensive production he provides, I think Dwyane Wade is the worst out of the rest.
I'd say Kareem or Magic personally. But finally someone that actually makes a god damn argument for their choice other than just saying a random stat line or something like "Kobe Is the goat so nah!"

Kareem’s length, size, athleticism and agility really help him, his athletics and length allow for great finishing around the rim, if you stop a drive, he can slow down and go for a sky hook or a spin sky hook. In the post, he kind of only has that spin hook or hook. While it does work in isolation, a big problem can come especially in modern day NBA if that if someone comes in for help on defence, they can easily stop Kareem and Kareem doesn’t pass a lot which doesn’t help his case.
But I’d chose him on my team over the other 2 due to his defence being very good and better than both Dwyane Wade and Magic combined I think. His great side to side movement makes it hard to beat off the dribble, he can time steals very well due to his long reach, and block shots due to his reach and athleticism, his athleticism, height and length allows him to leave his man and help another defender while recovering on time and also due to his attributes, he will get majority of the rebounds.

He had to team up with the Steph just like Lebron teamed up with DWade and Kobe teamed up with Shaq. And Shaq teamed up with DWade and also Lebron (but that doesn’t count). DWade the only one to not win MVP.
