I live in Ohio. I wouldn't say it's as bad here as some say but what you said in the video are certainly good points. Though I do have one thing to say. We may be a meme/joke but in order to do that there has to be at least something to meme/joke about. Which says a lot when compared to other states in the union. And I'm at least proud of that. :3
As an Ohioan I would like to add that the governor just did a hostile take over of the education department last year. Removing nearly all the power of the elected officials on the education board. And we have corn :)
I hate Ohio on principle because I'm from Michigan, but I also lived in Ohio for 5 years while in college and it solidified that hatred. Cleveland can't even say "at least we're not Detroit" anymore because Detroit is coming back and it's looking much better than the last couple decades
I pay 210 for rent and electric for a four bedroom, 2 garage, 2 bath, multi acre house with two friends. (One of who is on track to own it and plans for us to just build on the property more.) We keep it clean. We drink heavy, we all bring home 800-1k a week. I smoke legally now. Never have a day when i dont have a friend to daydrink with. I hate my car but i mostly know how to work on it now. We are out in the country so we dont really bother anyone and no one bothers us. We golfed and shot guns while meat smoked on sunday after not going to church. Im going to start playing dnd if my dm can stop getting duis. Its a good place guys. Good for me anyway. I just shaved my head bald and im higher than you are rn on life and pot
As a person that lives in Ohio, every single day is a normal, shitty day. Its always so fucking cloudy here. we have freezing winters and hot as shit summers, in spring and fall it could be snowing one day and the next it could be 80 degrees. I do not get how people move from amazing states to the most gloomiest state in fucking history, I live in Wapakoneta, a small town in western Ohio, today was the eclipse and apparently it was one of the best spot for it, and downtown there was about 3 shootings in 1 hour, 2 active ambulances, 5 active cops, and 3 non active cops... I WANNA MOVE TO MICHIGAN, GET ME THE FUCK OUT OF THIS SHITHOLE PLEASE!
My family is in ohio for vacation right now and i gotta say, there isnt a whole lot to do that I, personally, find interesting. We went to the Akron zoo today, just to look at it, and it was just... Sad.
