Team Trophy 💪🏼 I was okay with the challenge, I was looking up videos on how to mount bass shakers just for fun and this video popped up. (I already have some mounted) my options were limited when I started looking to upgrade from the challenge, and soon as they announced it I bought in. Love it, and it takes up just a bit more room compared to the challenge. 🎉
I have the invicta coming and its shokcing to know this thing can handle that when set to 15nm. Its a great rig and very comfortable. The asetek wheelbase is gonna blow your mind man.
@reviewforthetube6485 i can't wait dude. Alrhough i was a little disappointed i had to send it back right when i got for REM. Not exactly sure what was wrong with it... data transfer speed chip or something
@@jameslsimsports8514heck yeah! I knew you would love it. Things a beast. Remember though to maximize its feeling. Keep it at 12nm in the software. Then reduce or adjust in game. You will get rhe bedt loading and unloading feel and edge of grip with details that way. Usually when people love from fanatec they go ahh not as much as I thought because fanatec really is underatted but if anybody moves from anything over to asetek it's absolutely noticable. Its funny I even like there stock gt3 setup.
I have the CSL DD on my Playseat Challenge (yes i mounted two little "arms" behind the wheel plate to make it more rigid, I am actually considering soldering the wheel stand tubes to the chair, I do not open it any longer to get in and it would become even more solid). I have attached also the Fanatec H-shifter and handbrake. Really happy so far, and I need a foldable rig as I don't have space. Question for you: can you adjust the wheelbase height on the Trophy? This is my only issue with the Challenge, well I'm lucky to be tall but I would love to move the wheelbase up and down every now and then depending on what I'm playing or when I let someone else drive. At the moment I just put a pillow on the chair..
Nope, the wheel height is fixed with the trophy as well. All you can do is adjusted the tubes which gives you a little height, or decreases it. At your height, it should be comfortable I'd imagine. I'm about 5'10 and have a small gel cushion and some lumbar support. It's been very comfortable lately.
Awesome man. It took me a couple weeks to get it dialed in to my liking. But two things are REALLY important. 1. A thin gel cushion to sit on (I also use the same one in my actual car). 2. Lumbar support memory foam pillow for your lower back. After I put in the lumbar support pillow, it's way better. I'm going to do a video on them. Also, pro-tip, if you're adding shakers. Add them to the seat frame (not the main frame), you'll have much better vibration. Also just look for any Playseat (challenge) mount will work because the Trophy seat frame is the same diameter as the challenge diameter. So you just need to look for Playseat challenge mounts for shakers. Mounting pedals, is still a pain in the ass because of the way the sides of the tray comes up, you'll see. I have my Sprints with base plate mounded, but could only get 2 screws. It works ok with that, but not as stable as it could be.
It´s light and stylish but not comfortable. The lumbar support is terrible and does not allow for the best posture. I had one for 2 months and sold it.
Much much better than previous one for sure! Have fun man! 💯
@SuperGenRacing thanks my man! It's expensive. Still paying it off. But at least it feels like a proper seat.

The only thing that's a bit akward is that's so Low to the ground and it's super akward to mount certain plates
@Salustmaio i hear you, im kinda in the same boat. Make sure you bolt down the ledals with the challenge, there's mods to do that

It is a solid chair but there is a little flex on the pedal tray but doesn’t effect play
