Ok here is what we want to know.... How much do you think you put in with parts? How much would you estimate if someone had a mechanic charge to to work on a BMW? 🙂
I put about $1000 into it. That is mainly the clutch being almost $600 for all the parts. Could of got a non oem flywheel for a good bit cheaper but i wanted oem.
@justinv6132 no mate the car one lady owner hardly used it i loved the car but what a money pit every month goes wrong till at 91000miles hard break pedal for the third time sold for parts
@@paulbarnes4547 sometimes we get lemons. Had a 2004 cadillac SRX that would randomly turn off. Dealership tried to diagnose for almost 2 years. Nobody could solve it. Ended up just trading it in at a shady dealership and hoping it wouldn't shut off when they took it for a test drive.

I have no idea what a mechanic would change to do all of what i did. Clutch and vanos rebuild i could definitely see being close to 2k in labor
I bought a used e46 330ci and ended up putting in about $7K total in repairs….
@@nachoavgbindu Any regrets or about what you expected? 🙂
@@nachoavgbindu which parts took the majority of that 7k?
you gotta tune this car man that's what we wanna see! or get a 330ci those things are super fun. There ain't much left on the market tho
Definitely keeping an eye out for a 330, might still end up turboing this thing!
@@Gilligan.Garage would you recommend a manuel or automatic in terms of maintenance costs and repairs? I might buy an e46 the next month
@@TheXCobra11 i would recommend a manual because autos can tend to have more issues if not maintained good
