Put this together over the summer and forget to post it. I have a few full build videos on my channel in a playlist. It was essentially swapping everything from a bike with 275 original miles to my old beat one.

Today i got an evo x that needed the clutch master cylinder replaced, and a few other odds and ends from sitting for a year or so. It turned out to be in really good shape and basically all stock!

Today I finished the engine bay restoration on my RHD Datsun Sunny! The Header/Fuel Rail Cerakote is Burnt Bronze. Intake Manifold/Throttle body Cerakote is _. The Valve covers powder coat is Gloss Black.

Today i bought the cheapest running and driving RHD car around me. Its a 1979 Datsun Sunny with a toyota 4age swapped into it. It this episode i work on the interior. Next episode will be all taking apart most of the engine components to get rid of the ugly red color everywhere.

Today i fixed up this mk4 jetta 1.8T that i traded my chevy hhr ss for. It had a bunch of lights on the dash and leaked a ton of oil. Now it is ready to sell and leaks no oil!
Subaru VVT Learned Values Reset With ThinkDiag 2

This is how i was able to reset my Learned VVT Valves with a ThinkDiag 2. My crosstrek was throwing code p0011. Then after replacing the passenger intake phaser and timing chain/tensioner, it would throw p0016 and p0017. Im assuming from the values it burned into itself from the issues with the p0011 code that was driven with it on for who knows how long (bought the car with the light on). Afte...

In this video i saved what i call “The Worst Civic Honda Ever Made” from going to the scrapyard. My friend gifted me this car and i fixed it. I can happily say now it is 90% mechanically complete and is a good car!

Today I got a 2013 Mitsubishi Lacer Evolution that has been parked for a while. It was brought to a shop to have a clutch put in, after the install the car no longer went into Reverse. I was able to fix that by replacing the shift for and rail for 5th/Reverse. After that i painted the bumper, wing, and did a full paint correction.

Chevy HHR SS Turbo Replacement!

Today I replaced the turbo on my cheap Chevy HHR SS that i got from my friend! The turbo is not too card to do, the steps i took were: -remove intake -remove downpipe -remove O2 housing -unbolt oil feed and coolant lines -remove connectors and hoses -unbolt turbo from manifold -remove turbo If you have any questions let me know in the comments!

What misfire code were u getting?
@@lazyfocus3874 we got a few codes but the main 2 were random misfire and a fuel pressure error. I don’t remember which codes they were

@@StickNclutch i couldn’t believe it also haha, my last one i have a video on i got for 7k but i needed to fix reverse and it has 191k miles. That one is still going strong at 195k miles now

I’ve been wanting another RHD Sunny. Considered converting mine but my car is clean and mostly original so don’t want to cut it up. I put all the JDM goodies on it( bumpers grille etc). Had the stock A14 with a Weber carb and I also manual swapped it. Check out my videos of it🙏🏽

Just did the drivers side in a hf today. My prelude seats' foam was more used, so I used some of the foam from the crx to stuff it over the side bolster. Appreciate the video. 🫡

Surprised the valves did not bend with it being out of time. Not a bad deal for a turbo subi! Those Impreza outbacks always rust in the rear wheel wells.

Back in high school my buddy had an 06 gti 1.8t and that car was so much fun! No one ever believed it was stock if we had a race 😂 it was very peppy for its time! Nice find!

Hey bud just FYI, the B series engines rotate counter clockwise.
Change the Time-chn and wat-pump, oil pump ASAP . Dont race it, u will throw a rod. Sideboards look nice. Might unwierd it.

Tell camera man Teflon is only required for lines used with FLUIDS. And NOT cool or funny shooting compressed air at people PERIOD.
Or plot twist hook it up at the pump and just turn the key on.

@@paulbarnes4547 sometimes we get lemons. Had a 2004 cadillac SRX that would randomly turn off. Dealership tried to diagnose for almost 2 years. Nobody could solve it. Ended up just trading it in at a shady dealership and hoping it wouldn't shut off when they took it for a test drive.

Hey just watched your video again I always enjoy it:) I have another question, was the intake difficult to remove? How did you go about doing it?
The intake tube to the turbo is pretty easy to remove. You have to use a flat head on the clamp that connects to the box. The box itself I believe pops off some rubber grommets and pulls out(double check on this because mine is missing the rubbers). After that you just have to unplug the MAF, the pcv hose, and then use a flat head on where the intake tube connects to the turbo

Theres a drain bolt for the tank. The new aftermarket one doesn't have it, but if you want to make it like factory, you can drill a hole and re thread it for the bolt, if you're brave enough lol. I would also suggest spraying some rust protector for the new tank so you dont have to worry about it doing the same thing down the road. I'm going through this with my 97 dx hatch. They still sell the oe strap stud holders that slot into the rear crossmember with the nuts and washers and the front strap bolts as well 👍
What conversion harness in the car to the ecu
I am not entirely sure unfortunately, i believe an oem one that has been modified

Thank you for making this video, finally somebody put something on TH-cam to show us how the turbo comes off these cars. I have a red one as you can see. My turbo is doing fine, just wanted to see how it comes off. I assumed it had to be dropped from underneath. I do have a question about the downpipe: Does the other end of the downpipe bolt to the side of the turbo where the exhaust gas comes out? I just cannot picture this in my head on how the downpipe turns 45 degrees to bolt up to the exhaust underneath the car. I am talking about the side of the downpipe that has the 4 bolt holes, and not the side where there are 3. Am I missing something? Is there like a 45 degree part not shown in the video? The heat shield is on my car so I cannot look to reveal how the downpipe is positioned. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Good job by the way on accomplishing this. Now put that car back together and give it a nice shine. Thanks again. Cheers!
Thanks for the comment! The turbo has a o2 housing that bolts onto it which turns tight to meet with the downpipe that goes straight back
@@Gilligan.Garage Hey sorry it took so long to reply:) I now see what you are talking about I went out to my car and I see the o2 housing you were talking about. Now it all makes sense. Hopefully I will not have to mess with my turbo, so far my car is running strong at 169,000 miles on the body and trans, and 32,000 miles on the second engine that went in it. The original engine lasted 1 year after I bought my car:( Turns out I bought my car with a bad head gasket and never knew it. $4,000 dollars later and a whole week without my car, it is now fixed and runs properly,. Hey if you make more videos about your car, I would love to see:) it was nice chatting. Thanks again.🙂
Did you need to get a different alternator because it was hitting the radiator or did you need more amps for the fan? Also curious what filler neck you used.
Yeah i got an alternator off a base rsx which changed where the alternator plug was. The filler neck was one i found in a forum post. I cant find the part number unfortunately
