There'is a distintion between accent and dialect. This on the video is an regional accent not dialect. Accent because everybody who speak spanish can understand what they say in this video, despite the difference of pronunciation. The girl who you could see at minute 2.26 e 2.27 dice Calle (Cashe ou Caje) como dicem los argentinos e uruguayos. Dialect is a regional way of speaking of one language that use expressions and termes that the people who speak the same language in the same country could not understand. Sorry for my grammar mistakes in English.

can someone explain the word "pues" to me
We use the word "pues" when we don't know what to say at the moment, it'd be like "well..." in english. Also we use it when we start a sentence to give an answer, hesitating a little bit. For example: ¿Te gusta aprender otros idiomas? = Pues sí... aunque aveces es difícil.
