i just ordered a 2.3x2.3 from spider farmer and already have an se3000. I was nervous it wasn't going to fit. After watching this, I feel much better about the heat and everything. My goal was to do a small sog, the coverage looks great for it.

I guess he must run his plants at -4F because the manufacturer says so also. 😂😂 It's lacking a bit for a 3x3 and a bit overkill for a 2x2. I tested the mars 3000 in a 3x3 which is basically the same footprint and bar style and it was barely 600 in the corners and 750 in the middle. People don't realize that you also have to run it higher to get wider coverage which makes the light overall weaker. 16" in a 3x3 wouldn't cut it. You'd have to be 18-20" to get the spread.
I got one of these in a 28" x 28" just got the uv bars . I use this tent as my small flower tent for picking winners to keep as mom or for my big flowr tent

I have my seedling directly bang on in the middle and it keeps trying to grow towards the sides, I’ve turned intensity up but I was under the impression the middle has the highest PAR reading so not sure why this is happening?
What percentage and distance did you end up running it in flower? I'm getting mine today and have no clue what percentage to set it to in my 2.5x2.5 Edit: I see you did a great job of recommending percentages for each stage. Super informative! Thanks for the great work.
This Fixture is to Grow in a 3x3 Space, not 2x2. 300 Watts for 2x2 is a bit overkill, no need for more than 200 there. In a 3x3 its has like 450-500 umol in the corners, maybe you want to retest that, cause even the manufacturer says its for 3x3. But nice Test for growers with limited Space.

I don't recommend half ass setups to people that they have to replace when they realize they want more PAR in their space when they get better at growing. I recommend setups they can grow into long term. This light can be used in a 2x2 dimmed when they're new, at max when they're seasoned and even veg a 3x3 for them when they upgrade further. What is a light that can barely do a 2x2 good for besides a 2x2?? It ends up in the closet or for clones which is way overkill. Just wasted money. Also if you believe everything a manufacturer says you're going to have a bad time. My channel exists because of manufacturer lies and exaggerations. I titled the video "2x2 assassin". If I did 3x3 it would have been titled "Just ok at 3x3" which nobody is going to watch.
Spider farmer SF4000 is amazing in a 3x3. It's a tiny bid overkill for a 3x3. But if you upgrade to a 4x4 it can still be used to cover most of it then just add another small light. It says it's a 4x4 light and it will "work" just not that great. 450 in the corners and like 700 in the middle. In a 3x3 it completely smashes. You can run it dimmed and still get excellent coverage. Same discount code as in the description also. Spider farmer SE5000 would also be a great banger in a 3x3 for a little more money because it's bars.

In a real 24x24 tent it will fit. It just might sit a little off if the 4 corners rub on the poles. Just like 1/2" twist and it would fit in that case. Just so the corners clear the poles.

It barely covers a 3x3 properly. I’ve tested it. Lights like this are a little too much for a 2x2 and a little lacking in a 3x3. But you can use it for whatever you want. I’m just telling people that want actual high PAR levels where to put it. You can’t get anywhere near these numbers in a 3x3. These are numbers I would want to grow at. 1000 ppfd.
These numbers are great in a 2x2. A 3x3 is more than double the square footage. The numbers will be barely passable in a 3x3. Probably in the 500 range in the corners. It could work if you're not trying to maximize yield in the space.
You think that would be good in a 32x32 I still have one of those weird size ones and I was getting ready to throw it out but then I seen this and maybe that might be perfect for that it's not quite 3x3 I just got the Viper SK 3000 for a 3X3 that I haven't set up yet but I was debating whether to get rid of the 32x32 or maybe grab one of these for that or just get rid of that since I do have two 3x3s with a bloom Plus 3000 which I've had since I watched your review on it and it's crushing ever since I've got it that bloom plus 3000 and a 3X3 is just f****** killer bud and now a Viper Spectrum 3000 can't wait to see what that one does
