- Vatican II teaches a false concept called "ecumenism" about the Church's relationship with non-Catholic religions completely at odds with the Tradition of the Church. These novelties lead to real problems and the loss of souls.

Please beware of the new film "Jesus Thirsts". It shows receiving in the hand, the Priest facing the people and Medjugorje. Please be cautious of "Catholic " films which try to put everything under one umbrella. This is sometimes seen as a way to evangelize, but in practice only give the impression that all things under the umbrella are equal...for instance, approved and unapproved appritions, higher forms of worship and lesser, practices born out of disobiedence and practices which have organically grown over time - and have stood the test of time. Please don't just ride the wave of what is most popular at the time...what film "everyone" is going to see. Dare to critically think.

Monica. I had the sense that this new "Jesus" movie was very Novus Ordo. I watched a few previews and not overly impressed. Each Latin Mass is a "Eucharistic Renewal."

Thank you for delving into the seemingly innocuous changes within V2’s Lumen Gentium ~ especially that ‘little’ change to Christ’s Church ‘subsists in’ the Catholic Church (from IS), which did open the door to incrementalism. This ‘slight’ altering of connotation shifts our mindset from that of evangelization (while holding fast to Truth) to being comfortable with “partial communion.”
Pray fervently for restoration of Tradition, for the Church and the Diaspora. 🛡️🔥⚔️♥️🕊️
Just one of the errors found in a number of the documents of the VII Council, which many persist in denying or ignoring.
Maybe they weren't sure what " IS" is.
The crowbar the modernists/freemasons used to crack the doctrine open is the idea that the good-hearted but erroneous heretics & schismatics, particularly those who were born into the error, must in some way be part of the body of Christ, even if their churches aren't.
I can't square that circle, but I have to hold fast to the traditional teaching. Particularly given the clear motivations of those who originally proposed the novelty and the disastrous consequences of adopting it.

Try relabeling the yellow area on your right hand diagram from Catholic Church to Church of Christ and call the blue area the Novus Ordo sect. This means that all of the other sects might be in partial communion with the NO sect but they are still not in communion with the Church of Christ.
I think this works better.
This means that instead of bringing the non Catholic sects into the true church what actually happened was that Novus Ordo sect left the true church (which still exists as a perfect society) and joined into communion with the other religions OUTSIDE of the true church.

Exactly. If Protestants are in the Church of Christ and can achieve salvation without converting then you can believe ANYTHING and be saved. There isn’t an exact set of beliefs you must hold to be saved.

I think your diagram is backwards. LG says that the true church of Christ(this church) subsists within the Catholic Church and doesn’t your diagram show it the other way around?
I was wondering if someone was going to say that. It does seem that way, but the diagram reflects the teaching of Vatican 2 because Lumen Gentium teaches the Church of Christ is not the same yet broader in scope then the Catholic Church while the Catholic Church remains fully within the Church of Christ. It doesn't make sense to me either that Lumen Gentium uses the phrase "subsists in", but that's a problem with the incoherence of Vatican 2.
I like this video. I'm former Roman Catholic, in the process of becoming Orthodox and one thing that's so annoying is when other Roman Catholics come in and have an attitude when they're told they can't receive communion. Of course you can't receive communion in the Orthodox Church, you're not Orthodox! This eccuminsim has completely replaced tolerance with this false notion that we are all one. In fact we are not, we don't have the same beliefs. People need to learn to stay in the church of their faith, and pray with the people of their faith. And if they come visit a church outside their faith, be a respectful guest instead of an entitled ecuminist. Beyond that ecumenism is the religion of the devil. It requires the faiths participating in them to sacrifice their beliefs for this partial unity. But in doing so they become empty, they stop standing for what they believe in. And if you believe in Christ you should stand for your beliefs 100% not 50% or 70, or even 99.99%. It's either all or nothing because if you're luke warm the Lord will spit you out.

@@LUIS-ox1bv I didn't say don't go. I simply said to be respectful. Like a guest. I also said ecumenism was bad. But I did not go to an Orthodox Church for the first time thinking it was Roman Catholic or in anyway related. I went there because I was already not Roman Catholic anymore.

'Subsist' is a silly word.
It may well be true that ecumenism has divided and conquered. It is equally true that the average person with a life of heartache will never be welcomed into traditional circles.

Ecumenism has divided, but not conquered. Christ is King and He will return to end all division. Not sure what you mean by “Traditional circles” but the Catholic Church (yes, TLM parishes) welcomes all… which of course, includes many with all kinds of brokenness. The difference is, while a modernist church may tell people they are fine just ‘as they are’, true Catholics will meet them where they are and then share Jesus’s loving Truth & Mercy (in a way that is often very discreet and charitable), which ultimately requires contrition and change from sinful ways, and/or turning back to God after years of rejecting Him. None of us is perfect, but with God’s Grace we all may pursue redemption and holiness. Pax Christi. 🕊️
You need to go back and RE-read Vatican I which dogmatically teaches ecumenical councils cannot teach error.
So, your position is heretical and schismatic..
Vatican 1 doesn't apply because nothing at Vatican 2 was extraordinary dogmatic teaching.
The Church is in the state She is in due to the ignorance of its members sitting back and watching Her self destruction because those in charge are obeyed blindly under false obedience. Catholics must learn where true obedience lays and be sure not to obey oneself off the edge of a cliff. If well meaning but ignorant Catholics keep on obeying falsely, the One World religion is the logical conclusion.

Sadly though, I think you are wrong, not about what V1 taught but about your own interpretation of it.
So is the error more about ecclesiology than ecumenism? I'm more saying what I'm thinking, that V2 may have redefined or undefined the Church in a very loose way. Luckily it definded nothing dogmatically.
