Here are a few things I have to ask: 12:49 I know the website where those images come from. 13:15 Are you going to translate the Dangaioh game for PC-8801? Do you have the cassette drama for Dangaioh? Or is it possible to translate something from a device that is way old?
1) Thanks! It was a lot of effort, I can you tell you that much haha. I mostly did it because it weighed on me that this wonderful little piece of media was sinking away into oblivion 2) Well, you're welcome to share the website! 3) I don't think it was ever actually released, information surrounding the game was relatively scarce and the cg-set seem kind of incomplete, so even if I did have the technical know-how it's not particularly likely to happen, sorry. I am, however, open to collaborating on it! 4) I wish I did! I've seen them on sale here and there for around 60 bucks so it's theoretically not impossible. However! I don't have anything that can play cassette tapes let alone record them and because there weren't any visual cues to rely on and sometimes the voice-actors can go REALLY fast (looking at you, Lamba!) the CDs were already pretty hard to do, and that's when the quality of the sound is perfectly fine, even for the native speaker I asked to help out in a pinch (thanks again Yumi!). If on top of all that the cassette-tapes don't retain their audio-quality as well as CDs do (and don't forget those tapes would be roughly thirty to fourty years old) that would make the project exponentially more difficult if not close to impossible.
I am definitively open to suggestions! I was actually planning on doing a Getter one and some of the Gunbuster stuff first but someone posted an offer for a rip of the Dangaioh sonorama on the other vid so if I can get that, that'll probably come first (if I do get my hands on the sonorama I might as well stay on-topic and do Iczer 3 next).
That sounds pretty cool, but as far as I know that doesn't exist as an audio-drama. I am going to do the Mazinkaiser drama eventually so there's that, at least. And also, if you haven't already (and if you haven't you're in for a treat), you should def check out SRW ST.
@@riverpuddingSince you know Japanese have you ever thought teaming up with someone to translate the super robot wars l and super robot wars k in English? That would be awsome since its only ever been released in Japan with no English version.
@@tocooltosee7812 Hmmm well I do love SRWL... Tell you what, if you can convince someone who's able to make a translation-patch out of a text document and is willing to wait for a long time to contact me, I'm game (for L at least).
Alas, this is it. There had been plans to release at least three more OVA episodes but for whatever reason they didn't follow through on them (I imagine the collapse of the 80s economic bubble had something to do with it, or maybe even that earthquake that destroyed the originals for the third OVA). The only other piece of Dangaioh media that was actually released, so far as I know, was the cassette-tape audio-drama that was an alternative version of the first OVA episode (a viewer of this show graciously send me a copy so I'll one day get to work on hammering that into something I can upload here but because for the most part it's really just the first OVA with Might Alice instead of Gil Berg it's not super high on my list of priorities).
@@riverpudding You know what I think? Someone should just go on fanfic and make a Dangioh novel complete from start to finish, once and for all. Books are still King when it comes to telling amazing stories. Also even if you can't finish the book, you can always come back later and finish it.
@@riverpudding Personally I would scrap episode 2 and episode 3, because quite frankly they where rushed and poorer in quality compared with the first episode.

If you're taking suggestions per the description, seeing the Iczer-3 audio drama translated would be spectacular, if at all possible!!

@@riverpudding They Killed off Dr. Tarzan which was a huge writing blunder. He was a very important character to just easily remove like that.
