The Philosophy of The Bad Boy

    Time Code:
    Intro: 0:00 - 0:47
Know what you want, then go and get it: 0:48 - 2:26
    Don't ask for permission for anything: 2:27 - 3:52
    Be adventurous: 3:53 -6:04
    Don't apologize for your imperfections: 6:05 - 8:20
    Respect yourself ruthlessly: 8:21 - 9:25
    Outro: 9:26 - 10:08
let’s face it, when growing up we were greatly misled by our aunts and mothers who told us we have to be good boys who stay safe away from all risks & dangers, and having to treat women like literal goddesses/angels and give them all they need.
Bad boys are rebels and have a "devil may care" attitude  -  meaning, these guys cannot be locked down into relationships, unlike most ‘nice guys.’
Bad boys know their value and hold themselves with high esteem. They seek no approval from others and never go out of their way to show people they are worth it.
They are authentic and will never go out of their way to be uncomfortable just to have someone’s approval. Having this mentality will help you be someone who is comfortable being who you are and not as someone who tries really hard to make others like or love you

It’s okay to be a good person but just don’t forget to set boundaries and push people away when they don’t bring anything good to your life. Protect your loved ones, respect everyone, and be a leader. It’s not that hard.

Absolutely, the issue at the moment is that manly traits like these are perceived as negative and shunned in society, labelled toxic masculinity. And I agree, in some cases, they are correct, I think the only way forward for men and bad boys alike is to harness their potential behaviours through shadow work, ultimately enabling them to still have their say whilst holding respect and not being written off as toxic. Your shadow is your key to becoming a man 🤍

Essentially being a bad boy, is the sub product of being a man. That means you’re willing to do what you want and what you need without anyone’s external input or opinions to dissuade you from your goal. Nothing anyone can say or do can swerve your purpose, dreams and aspirations. As a bad boy, you do and think in what you believe in and nobody can say or do anything about it. You stay true to what you believe in no matter if it’s good or bad

  • @xRevTheoryx

The thing is, the modern definition of "nice guy" is a spineless man with nothing to offer aside from being a doormat, with a lot of pent up frustration and emotions from the fact that they lack the skills and strenght to suceed in life. I don't think being a nice guy and a bad boy are necessarily incompatible. I've always been a genuinely nice guy. A friend needs help, I'm the first one to answer. My girl calls me in the middle of the night, I'm waking up and going to her immediately. A colleague needs a favor, I do what I can. I try to be kind with everyone and I'd take a bullet for the people I love, without expecting anything in return. At the same time, I don't lack any of the traits mentioned in this video. It is about finding a balance and especially it is about finding confidence in yourself and being able to act according to your own will and not molding yourself around other people expectations. There is nothing wrong with being "good"

I needed to see another comment like this. Some people will take these advice way too far and seemingly make it as if being the "bad boy" is the only right way. The more I watched, it wasn't that I was intimidated or disagree with certain points of the video, it's just that the bad boy approach isn't always the best approach in life. I understand standing up for yourself, that it's okay being selfish, breaking the rules, and put our needs first, but many of these traits can be twisted and become toxic traits and we can become blind by convincing ourselves it will pay off, it will our pride to becoming vanity, our dismissal of our flaws and not properly fixing them in the future will lead to destruction, respecting ourselves too much can cause us to resent or dismiss the value in others. But I know myself, I am neither good or bad, but when people I know want my help, I'll try my best to.

I'm not sure I qualify for this one.
Though my parents did seem to try to get me into trouble, for reasons I think I understand now that I'm almost 30. I remember this one time at a Christmas party some stranger wanted me to do shots of tequila with him. My parents encouraged me to join in. I was resistant at first but eventually gave in. I was either 16 or 17. In situations like this my parents with vacillate between praise and concern. It was very confusing. So many of us in this generation grew up being taught to "respect authority" even if they don't deserve it? "Work hard" for what? I job I may hate? "Get good grades" In an education system that doesn't teach us anything practical? blahblahblah all the while never teaching kids how to THINK FOR THEMSELVES. Ask questions. How to enjoy ourselves without feeling guilty. How to socialize with REAL PEOPLE, make friends and not just authority figures. No one was ever happy or at least satisfied with themselves by being. "a good boy 🥺🥺🥺".
I do however own multiple leather jackets because I think leather jackets are cool. 😎

I believe it's the right statement. Philosophy is the art of simplifying and explaining things.
You've done a very good job listing the acts and whys of the acts of "bad boys", and in the end you simplified it and listed it all.
Your verbosity may pain some people, but keep going, it's pleasant to listen to you - you can articulate ideas enough to induce very vivid and detailed pictures in your listeners' minds. Your voice displays assertiveness and conviction.
Know however that verbosity and complexion may draw away many people. Simplicity is always appreciated, but I do not personally have a problem with comprehending your message.
Just pick your audience, a broader one with less potential for understanding, or a narrower one of well-read individuals.
My advice is either continuing with the hard essence of your channel, or loosening it a bit to gain traction - your message deserves a greater audience in my opinion; and then choosing how to double back down on your style.
      Good luck, brother.

I use my bad character when it’s necessary to protect my genuine energy, my pains and struggles values my self automatically as a man so that way it’s safer for me, even thou i deal with all most everybody I encounter with a positive mindset, it’s just being real to yourself and understanding that it’s important to protect your self when necessary and realizing that without you, you can’t care for who you want so self care is necessary as a man it’s the way way we can have true happiness and be fearless, to be a strong man you have to be dangerous but it’s how you react to your situation more that matters and that’s where self discipline comes in naturally after valuing yourself, You will set rules for yourself that people as to respect if they want to be around you

discipline is an essential tool in achieving freedom, because freedom does not mean always do what you want. Freedom is having the liberty of also restraining yourself when you want to achieve something difficult.
If you want to achieve a better physique, get a better career, or improve your relationships, then you will have to do things that you don't want, because any act of change and improvement implies the death of an old habit or part of self. Being free means not being tied to an identity created by you, or imposed by other, that no longer serves you; it means to have the ability to change in order to achieve the things you want.

because they are attractive, no matter your badboy, goodboy personality whatever, if you're attractive you can even talk about the shit you shit had corn and women will still want you. But the second reason why "badboys" are also attractive? simply because they don't follow society's rules, they do what they want that's what any masculine man does, that's in our nature, to dominate, to lead.
