Angelina is so unique as is her voice. There simply is no one like her. As for myself, being a 24/7/365 barefoot person for 7.5yrs now, Angelina makes me feel like she is such a cool part of my tribe. I hope she never puts a pair on ever again, but that all children who want/need shoes will someday have them.
Angelina was born with a full understanding of human emotions, which seems impossible yet there it is. She is a natural empath as a result, which is why she doesn't "sing" a song, she "delivers" a song which brings music to our ears and feeling to our souls. I am an unmusical 83 year old who first saw her NGT performances way back in 2014 and I have been watching her develop ever since on a daily basis. I admire her as much for her humanity and her perfection in every aspect of living as I do her music.

Hi Sebs, Angelina was on vacation with her mother and grandma in Iran when she ran into the 7 yewar old homeless girl weighing people for money on the side of the road. . Angelina stopped and let her weigh her and talked to her for 45 minutes. It was a colder time of the year. So her mother and grandma waited patientlly for angelina to get done talking to the girl ,Angelina asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, The little girl said a doctor then said she probally wouldnt get to be cuz she has no parents. Angelina told her never give up on your dreams, The girl asked angelina what she wanted to be when she grows up. Angelina said Im gonna be a singer superestar and sing for the whole world. The little girl said Ill pray for you. Then angelina gave the little girl her shoes and said I wont perform with shoes in your honor from now on. then she walked away shoeless in the cold with her mother and grandma. Angelina was only 6 at the time the little girl was 7. When I listen to this young lady my body just moves it it the most amazing voice and talent that so many wish they had. It's amazing feeling when someone's voice hits you body and soul and this girl just does that.
Hearing original artists and Angelina's renditions is like hearing the local raconteur tell children about Santa Claus and the north pole vs getting a guided tour by Miss Santa Claus at the north pole:) There's just no comparison as being there in the real... is magical:) And her renditions make the lyrics float off the page in the proper inflection and resonance.
Angelina is often seen with a bright light behind her, casting a halo around her head, leaving no doubt she is a angel. Angelina is also a prodigy but unlike any other, as I don't know of any vocal prodigy who was so advanced at such an early age. Most prodigies, when they reach their 20's, are no longer way ahead of those who were taught. Personally, I find Angelina's performances from age 7 to 13, especially her covers of jazz standards, to be better than any previous versions. The emotion she was able to convey during those early years is what sets her apart from all the greats of decades past. I have great confidence Angelina will continue to be at a higher level of vocals as she gets older but time will tell.
Angelina is truly unique. The only other young prodigy since there have been recordings who could be considered is Michael Jackson but I would argue that at any given age Angelina had better technique and vocal control. MJ even had the advantage of being in a family of musicians. The only other musical prodigy that amazes me perhaps a little more is Alma Deutscher but she is not a singer, instead, she is a composer and instrumentalist. I just wonder how many other would-be prodigies whose talent is not recognized or who grow up in a less supportive family.
Welcome to the group of angels! Angelina can do that to you and become addictive. One of the things I wanted to mention is Angelina's ability to elicit emotion. When she is doing a cover as in this cover of Adele, she is emoting as you would not imagine a 15-year-old could do. The song is about Adele and a divorce which Angelina has never experienced. Yet she sings this as if she has lived it which is very unusual. Angelina has a way of taking the emotion and lyrics of a song and internalizing them and somehow applying them to events in her own life. When you listen to the lyrics here she is talking about the fact that she never had the time to choose what she chose and to go easy on her. This clearly could represent her childhood years when she was immersed in the industry and spent all these years singing and made sacrifices along the way without ever really thinking about it. She just did it. She doesn't want to be pressured or stressed. Go easy on her. I could just feel that coming through in the emotion she was projecting. Sebs - There is NO need to apologize for your spontaneous laughing during Angelina's performances. I have seen other Reactors do the same - and, for me, it's a recognition that the person [you/other Reactors] is amazed to such a level (and so suddenly) that any words are inadequate - hence the laughter, which is a cathartic release. You're correct about her not straining her throat when she sings or when she go high notes... Yes, she's utilizing her whole body to support notes. Noticed when she's going high notes she will position her body like she's creating a free flow from down to top. And thus giving her more control even when some notes are tough.
Speaking of respect from other musicians, the man on piano is Rob Christie. He is a Grammy award winner and studio director for Republic Records/Universal. They did a Christmas special together where he brought in a group of fameous jazz musicians who all had been working with the greats =)
At some point, I resigned myself to the fact that her talent simply can't be understood. OK, she's an old soul, but I've never heard such sounds in any recording from anyone in the past or present. There is a mystery here that goes beyond a gift or talent. With any other artist, the more one listens the more imperfections one finds. With Angelina, all I hear are the beautiful subtleties that I missed from the previous play. She is such an undeserved treasure.
The most important aspect of Angelina's life is her family. It's a strange industry, the music business, full of weasels and vermin. She seems well-protected by her grandma, mother and father. As she should be. A talent like hers is exploitable by mendacious and mercenary people, but she is supported very well.

Laughing and crying are strong emotive behaviours. Many reactors, and me, have done this listening to Angelina at some time. Angelina's true gift is making people feel the song. A gift she's had since her childhood performances. Folk like Dimash are technically brilliant and Diana Ankudinova who has an amazing unique voice just don't evoke the same level of emotion Angelina does.

It’s her voice yes, of course, but for me its her humility and generosity that sets her apart and inspires me. She puts the song above everything else because she understands the emotional truth of every song she sings and knows that she can deliver it to a world desperate for it. It’s the generosity of giving her shoes to the one who needed them but in the form of her soul laid bare in an act of generous, unconditional, un-self-conscious love given to us the listeners that draws me in.

Sebs, Angelina gives her own unique interpretation to each song. My feeling of what that interpretation is, here, is different. Many Angels believe she is asking us for more patience to allow her to grow up before she launches her career big time. I feel she is viewing what her life could have been like if she had a family that had pressured her (rather than having the family she does, who have given her room, protected, supported her and often held her back until she was ready). She is looking at the damage that alternate life could have caused and is comparing it to her real life. Thus there is a feeling of optimism that is woven in that is missing from Adele's version.
Barry, I agree with you. That's the way I hear her interpretation of the song and suspect Angelina connects to it as a cautionary tale she doesn't have to live out. Also, her voice and Adele's have so much in common in terms of dynamics, power, emotion, intensity. She seems to gravitate to Adele's terrific songs. Angelina puts optimism and uplift into the saddest songs simply by virtue of the beauty of her voice.

This brilliant ultra talented young lady has vocal skills that just do not exist anymore...not for a very long time anyway. Sometime, check out her TikTok or IG uploads with no production, mixing, or any of that crap, just pure vocals with a cellphone, many times simply A Cappella with no backing tracks and you shall realize what you are witnessing. Lately she has been uploading short but beautiful songs while playing piano or guitar...do not know if you really realize just how mega talented this young girl is. I’m 78 years old and have enjoyed her so much. I have done so much research. Look for 6 year old A. J. IN a Recording Studio. Her grandmother has a very large jazz collection. She would go and listen to her grandmother records. Can’t imagine how much time she spent listening to all of the those records. 😮😅

I appreciate your reaction. You see a lot and are honest and present and you truly let us see your literal reactions as she sings. You notice how comfortable and calm she is when she sings. You notice her bare feet. I do want to add some facts to the story about the bare feet. She didn't just see a girl on the street without shoes and she gave her own to her. That in itself would be amazing. She actually went over and sat down next to the girl and talked with her. They shared about their lives with each other and she had noticed the girl had no shoes and her feet were scarred and dirty. Angelina was wearing some new booties that she liked a lot and didn't hesitate to take them off and give them to the girl. The girl had told her about having lost her parents to some illness and that she wanted to be a doctor to help other people like them .. and that she took care of her younger siblings with the money she made on the street. The girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina said she wanted to sing for the whole world and have everyone feel loved. She actually promised the girl that she, Angelina, would not wear shoes when performing until all children have shoes. So that was also amazing. But she didn't just say it. She was six when she promised it and is 16 now and never wears shoes when she performs .. but ALSO .. she has raised millions of dollars in her concerts for children in need all over the world. Millions. She wrote a book about this girl who had affected her so deeply and was the youngest person in Norway to ever write and publish a book. She never talks about any of it unless she is asked directly. She is more than amazing. She is, truly, an angel. I'm thinking other people could add or perhaps even correct some of the details here, which is great because we are passing this story along and it is such a beautiful part of who she is. She is humble always and caring of others. So .. I just wanted to tell you so you know a little more about her. Thanks again for your reaction. I look forward to seeing more!
I’m going to disagree with you on one thing. I don’t think her voice as a very young child should be compared to her voice now. Of course it’s more developed and stronger, but some of her young performances are my favorites. A 7 or 8 or 10 year old could not sing better than she did. Those early performances stand on their own as incredible performances for a child-both her voice and her delivery. We’re in complete agreement on how relaxed she is as a performer. In a song like today’s, she gives us great range, dynamics, vocal fries, belting, breathiness, and endless vocal textures with not a hint of hesitation or constriction. She never shows off what she can do, but her confidence in her voice allows her to channel all her energies into these dynamite performances.
Notice when she gets to a very soft and vulnerable voice expression- like at the very end. It creates dramatic contrast with the power belting, as well as connects with us at such a basic human level. Exceptional artist!

The Angelina phenomenon is really quite odd. She is so masterful and pleasing that she's baffling. While she is fascinating to listen to her genius is so elevated she makes people truly love her. She's just adorable.
The no shoes is because, as she explains in an interview and is why she became the youngest published author in Norway, in the middle-east traveling with her family she met a homeless girl on the street who was weighing people for money. The girl was about her age, and they talked for awhile. The little girl didn't have any shoes and it was cold and she had scars on her feet, so Angelina gave her her favorite sea green boots to wear. They fit, the girl was very thankful, they spoke about what they wanted to do and the girl said she would pray for Angelina to succeed. Angelina from that day pledged to always perform Barefoot to raise awareness about impoverished children. She is kept that vow, thankfully, and I hope she continues to keep it.

Just travel in the middle east wish you lived the grandmother and mother I think about walking he was getting cold weather and she saw a little girl in front of us store having to weigh people to get her way just to pay for her siblings life and her went to speak to her. Grandma told her Fosse And she asked her why she barefoot in our break room sleep and she said my parents have died. I want to be a doctor, but I can’t now because I have to move make this money to feed my siblings. Angelina gave her shoes to her and this play a part on. She will not wear shoes on stage because it reminds her of that little girl that you got a pray for her to be international singing star, and she has raise millions of dollars for children’s charity and environmental causes. She’s not just a Singer but she is right I’m in humanitarian.

Hi Sebs, Angelina was on vacation with her mother and grandma in Iran when she ran into the 7 yewar old homeless girl weighing people for money on the side of the road. . Angelina stopped and let her weigh her and talked to her for 45 minutes. It was a colder time of the year. So her mother and grandma waited patientlly for angelina to get done talking to the girl ,Angelina asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, The little girl said a doctor then said she probally wouldnt get to be cuz she has no parents. Angelina told her never give up on your dreams, The girl asked angelina what she wanted to be when she grows up. Angelina said Im gonna be a singer superestar and sing for the whole world. The little girl said Ill pray for you. Then angelina gave the little girl her shoes and said I wont perform with shoes in your honor from now on. then she walked away shoeless in the cold with her mother and grandma. Angelina was only 6 at the time the little girl was 7. When I listen to this young lady my body just moves it it the most amazing voice and talent that so many wish they had. It's amazing feeling when someone's voice hits you body and soul and this girl just does that.
She is the vocal savant of this generation. No one can touch her pitch, control or emotional connection.
She is an absolute blessing to us all.
Hearing original artists and Angelina's renditions is like hearing the local raconteur tell children about Santa Claus and the north pole vs getting a guided tour by Miss Santa Claus at the north pole:) There's just no comparison as being there in the real... is magical:) And her renditions make the lyrics float off the page in the proper inflection and resonance.
Angelina is often seen with a bright light behind her, casting a halo around her head, leaving no doubt she is a angel. Angelina is also a prodigy but unlike any other, as I don't know of any vocal prodigy who was so advanced at such an early age. Most prodigies, when they reach their 20's, are no longer way ahead of those who were taught. Personally, I find Angelina's performances from age 7 to 13, especially her covers of jazz standards, to be better than any previous versions. The emotion she was able to convey during those early years is what sets her apart from all the greats of decades past. I have great confidence Angelina will continue to be at a higher level of vocals as she gets older but time will tell.
Angelina is truly unique. The only other young prodigy since there have been recordings who could be considered is Michael Jackson but I would argue that at any given age Angelina had better technique and vocal control. MJ even had the advantage of being in a family of musicians. The only other musical prodigy that amazes me perhaps a little more is Alma Deutscher but she is not a singer, instead, she is a composer and instrumentalist. I just wonder how many other would-be prodigies whose talent is not recognized or who grow up in a less supportive family.

Welcome to the group of angels! Angelina can do that to you and become addictive. One of the things I wanted to mention is Angelina's ability to elicit emotion. When she is doing a cover as in this cover of Adele, she is emoting as you would not imagine a 15-year-old could do. The song is about Adele and a divorce which Angelina has never experienced. Yet she sings this as if she has lived it which is very unusual. Angelina has a way of taking the emotion and lyrics of a song and internalizing them and somehow applying them to events in her own life. When you listen to the lyrics here she is talking about the fact that she never had the time to choose what she chose and to go easy on her. This clearly could represent her childhood years when she was immersed in the industry and spent all these years singing and made sacrifices along the way without ever really thinking about it. She just did it. She doesn't want to be pressured or stressed. Go easy on her. I could just feel that coming through in the emotion she was projecting. I think there is definitely something autobiographical about this particular song. On another note, please read below.

If you are in process of growing your channel, you must also play a role in building the careers of your young artists. But unfortunately increasing copyright risks are becoming a barrier. Recent reactor reports indicate that some record labels are demanding ownership of their artists' reaction videos after the fact, with monetary penalty claims. If channels do not comply, they are threatened with copyright strikes and possibly shut down. This has been verified by reliable TH-cam sources.
How can you target your focus to better address the needs of record label management? Although you do a fine job highlighting Angelina, and providing links, that alone does not boost her analytics. I suggest educating your viewers since most don't know how to support you or the artists! Provide links to artists' original video and official channels, and possibly social media as you have done. Encourage viewers to like and comment on the original video and subscribe to artists' and your channels, This should increase subscriptions for both.
Nearly 200 reactors have benefited from partnering with their artists and adopting these needed support guidelines. Hopefully this will ultimately influence record labels to relax their restrictions. Your goal should be to solidify the integrity of your relationship with all aspiring artists in order to limit copyright risk.

Your point about AJ's voice development is absolutely correct. It's not just that her voice "evolves" -- it's that she expands her vocal vocabulary more and more and more as she grows older.

You're correct about her not straining her throat when she sings or when she go high notes... Yes, she's utilizing her whole body to support notes. Noticed when she's going high notes she will position her body like she's creating a free flow from down to top. And thus giving her more control even when some notes are tough.
Speaking of respect from other musicians, the man on piano is Rob Christie. He is a Grammy award winner and studio director for Republic Records/Universal. They did a Christmas special together where he brought in a group of fameous jazz musicians who all had been working with the greats =)

At some point, I resigned myself to the fact that her talent simply can't be understood. OK, she's an old soul, but I've never heard such sounds in any recording from anyone in the past or present. There is a mystery here that goes beyond a gift or talent. With any other artist, the more one listens the more imperfections one finds. With Angelina, all I hear are the beautiful subtleties that I missed from the previous play. She is such an undeserved treasure.

Laughing and crying are strong emotive behaviours. Many reactors, and me, have done this listening to Angelina at some time. Angelina's true gift is making people feel the song. A gift she's had since her childhood performances. Folk like Dimash are technically brilliant and Diana Ankudinova who has an amazing unique voice just don't evoke the same level of emotion Angelina does.
I think some old soul(s) came down and are inside this special girl. A living Angel. Check out “I’d rather go blind” and my fav “I’m still holding out for you” both were done when she was 10-13 ish I think

It’s her voice yes, of course, but for me its her humility and generosity that sets her apart and inspires me. She puts the song above everything else because she understands the emotional truth of every song she sings and knows that she can deliver it to a world desperate for it. It’s the generosity of giving her shoes to the one who needed them but in the form of her soul laid bare in an act of generous, unconditional, un-self-conscious love given to us the listeners that draws me in.

Sebs, Angelina gives her own unique interpretation to each song. My feeling of what that interpretation is, here, is different. Many Angels believe she is asking us for more patience to allow her to grow up before she launches her career big time. I feel she is viewing what her life could have been like if she had a family that had pressured her (rather than having the family she does, who have given her room, protected, supported her and often held her back until she was ready).
She is looking at the damage that alternate life could have caused and is comparing it to her real life. Thus there is a feeling of optimism that is woven in that is missing from Adele's version.
Barry, I agree with you. That's the way I hear her interpretation of the song and suspect Angelina connects to it as a cautionary tale she doesn't have to live out. Also, her voice and Adele's have so much in common in terms of dynamics, power, emotion, intensity. She seems to gravitate to Adele's terrific songs. Angelina puts optimism and uplift into the saddest songs simply by virtue of the beauty of her voice.

This brilliant ultra talented young lady has vocal skills that just do not exist anymore...not for a very long time anyway. Sometime, check out her TikTok or IG uploads with no production, mixing, or any of that crap, just pure vocals with a cellphone, many times simply A Cappella with no backing tracks and you shall realize what you are witnessing. Lately she has been uploading short but beautiful songs while playing piano or guitar...do not know if you really realize just how mega talented this young girl is. I’m 78 years old and have enjoyed her so much. I have done so much research. Look for 6 year old A. J. IN a Recording Studio. Her grandmother has a very large jazz collection. She would go and listen to her grandmother records. Can’t imagine how much time she spent listening to all of the those records. 😮😅
I always look at Angelina as there's color in her voice. It's Adele song Adele is one of the best ever singers it's just Angelina paints it with color in her vocals.

As for sounding like Adele, you need to play Adele's version first to be able to experience the major differences that AJ adds to make it much better than the original. We have come to expect her covers to be much better than the originals, but each time they exceed that and much more. Angelina is an ethereal genius and everything she touches turns to gold
Another young soul that has that same heart and is absolutely amazing is Nandi Bushell. She is a drummer and I believe she is currently 10 years old. She did a cover of Tool 46&2 recently that is absolutely amazing.

I appreciate your reaction. You see a lot and are honest and present and you truly let us see your literal reactions as she sings. You notice how comfortable and calm she is when she sings. You notice her bare feet. I do want to add some facts to the story about the bare feet. She didn't just see a girl on the street without shoes and she gave her own to her. That in itself would be amazing. She actually went over and sat down next to the girl and talked with her. They shared about their lives with each other and she had noticed the girl had no shoes and her feet were scarred and dirty. Angelina was wearing some new booties that she liked a lot and didn't hesitate to take them off and give them to the girl. The girl had told her about having lost her parents to some illness and that she wanted to be a doctor to help other people like them .. and that she took care of her younger siblings with the money she made on the street. The girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina said she wanted to sing for the whole world and have everyone feel loved. She actually promised the girl that she, Angelina, would not wear shoes when performing until all children have shoes. So that was also amazing. But she didn't just say it. She was six when she promised it and is 16 now and never wears shoes when she performs .. but ALSO .. she has raised millions of dollars in her concerts for children in need all over the world. Millions. She wrote a book about this girl who had affected her so deeply and was the youngest person in Norway to ever write and publish a book. She never talks about any of it unless she is asked directly. She is more than amazing. She is, truly, an angel.
I'm thinking other people could add or perhaps even correct some of the details here, which is great because we are passing this story along and it is such a beautiful part of who she is. She is humble always and caring of others. So .. I just wanted to tell you so you know a little more about her.

I’m going to disagree with you on one thing. I don’t think her voice as a very young child should be compared to her voice now. Of course it’s more developed and stronger, but some of her young performances are my favorites. A 7 or 8 or 10 year old could not sing better than she did. Those early performances stand on their own as incredible performances for a child-both her voice and her delivery.
We’re in complete agreement on how relaxed she is as a performer. In a song like today’s, she gives us great range, dynamics, vocal fries, belting, breathiness, and endless vocal textures with not a hint of hesitation or constriction. She never shows off what she can do, but her confidence in her voice allows her to channel all her energies into these dynamite performances.
Notice when she gets to a very soft and vulnerable voice expression- like at the very end. It creates dramatic contrast with the power belting, as well as connects with us at such a basic human level. Exceptional artist!

The Angelina phenomenon is really quite odd. She is so masterful and pleasing that she's baffling. While she is fascinating to listen to her genius is so elevated she makes people truly love her. She's just adorable.
The no shoes is because, as she explains in an interview and is why she became the youngest published author in Norway, in the middle-east traveling with her family she met a homeless girl on the street who was weighing people for money. The girl was about her age, and they talked for awhile. The little girl didn't have any shoes and it was cold and she had scars on her feet, so Angelina gave her her favorite sea green boots to wear. They fit, the girl was very thankful, they spoke about what they wanted to do and the girl said she would pray for Angelina to succeed. Angelina from that day pledged to always perform Barefoot to raise awareness about impoverished children. She is kept that vow, thankfully, and I hope she continues to keep it.

Just travel in the middle east wish you lived the grandmother and mother I think about walking he was getting cold weather and she saw a little girl in front of us store having to weigh people to get her way just to pay for her siblings life and her went to speak to her. Grandma told her Fosse And she asked her why she barefoot in our break room sleep and she said my parents have died. I want to be a doctor, but I can’t now because I have to move make this money to feed my siblings. Angelina gave her shoes to her and this play a part on. She will not wear shoes on stage because it reminds her of that little girl that you got a pray for her to be international singing star, and she has raise millions of dollars for children’s charity and environmental causes. She’s not just a Singer but she is right I’m in humanitarian.
