Then it says after 7 weeks (49 years), the walls of Jerusalem were built which happened in 408 bc, then after 62 weeks (434 years) Messiah would come which takes you to 27 AD (when you count between 1 bc and 1 ad there is no year 0) which is the year when Yeshua made the first public declaration that He is the Messiah. Then Daniel says he was cut off after the 69 weeks and says in the middle of the final week he put an end to sacrifice and offerings which takes you to 30 ad the year Yeshua died, rose and ascended to heaven. From 27 ad until 30 ad he was confirming the new covenant than His apostles continued with the message preached only in Israel until 34 ad (1 week) until the message was sent to the gentiles. Why do you re-name Jesus "Yeshua"? There is no record anywhere of a messiah called "Yeshua". ALL the writers of the NT know him only as "Iesous", which anglicises to "Jesus". Assuming that Jesus even had a Hebrew name, no one bothered to preserve it. By re-naming him "Yeshua", you are only demonstrating your dissatisfaction with the entire NT and your wish to improve it with your amendment.

@@psandbergnz the 490 year timeline starts with the declaration to build Jerusalem which according to the Book of Ezra it was during the reign of Artaxerxes King of Persia in 457 bc. Then it says after 7 weeks (49 years), the walls of Jerusalem were built which happened in 408 bc, then after 62 weeks (434 years) Messiah would come which takes you to 27 AD (when you count between 1 bc and 1 ad there is no year 0) which is the year when Yeshua made the first public declaration that He is the Messiah. Then Daniel says he was cut off after the 69 weeks and says in the middle of the final week he put an end to sacrifice and offerings which takes you to 30 ad the year Yeshua died, rose and ascended to heaven. From 27 ad until 30 ad he was confirming the new covenant than His apostles continued with the message preached only in Israel until 34 ad (1 week) until the message was sent to the gentiles. Interestingly rabbinic traditions say the lot for God on Yom Kupur always came on the left, the temple doors wouldn’t stay shut, the Menorah candles wouldn’t stay lit and the scarlet cloth never on Yom Kupur turned white until the temple and Jerusalem were destroyed in 70 ad which completed Daniel’s prophecy. See Zechariah 11 too.
