    Great content - Thankyou
    I’m now 51 years of age and just started !
    I’ve gone with the FTSE All cap in a Stocks and shares Isa through Vanguard 👍
    I was originally looking at a target date fund, but as my investment journey has just started I want to at least go the next 20 years so I’ll look at maybe adding bonds later on .

    Global All Cap for me as it's an accumulation fund and I can buy fractional shares so my entire direct debit is consumed and dividends automatically reinvested. Perfect for the set and forget approach I'm looking for 👌

      Can’t go wrong with that approach! Thank you for watching and best of luck with your investing :)

    Excellent video Hayley! Could you explain why on the FTSE all world 'key investor info' it notes the 'base currency of the fund' as USD? This differs from the Global all cap where it says 'currency of the share class is GBP'. Is there any disadvantage to the latter as a UK investor (trying to work out if there's a currency conversion charge, or an amplified FX risk given VWRL is all in dollars)? Thanks.

    Really great video, thanks! Just a quick question, are the ongoing costs etc the same for the VWRP (accumulation ETF) as for the VWRL?

    Hi,
    Pls can you do a video on the HSBC FTSE All World Index Fund (Income and Accumulation). It has 0.12% fees on Hargreaves.

    Hi love your videos could you please tell me the difference between FWRG & VWRL ? Any info on this would be appreciated thank you

      Invesco is picking up steam and once it reaches 1B, market will move to it as the fees .15 not .22. Vwrl is income and other is acc.

    Hiya! Great video. Would there be any point in holding both All Cap and VWRL or do the similarities make this pretty pointless? For added context, I have my stock&shares ISA with vanguard.

    • @HayleyEich
      @HayleyEich  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey!! Thank you so much! There are a lot of similarities between the two so you may end up paying two lots of fees for pretty much a duplication! There are of course some differences but you have to decide whether you think they are great enough to invest in both the funds :)

    • @HayleyEich
      @HayleyEich  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! There are lots of platforms out there and who you go with should depend on what you want to invest in, fees associated and your user face preferences to name a few. This global all cap is a vanguard fund. You can invest into it via vanguard directly (who only offer their own funds) or you can invest into it via other platforms! You can search on the platforms to see what’s available before opening an account I’m sure :)

    What’s your thoughts on the Global All Cap vs Target Date Funds?

    • @coderider3022
      @coderider3022 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Targets apply a glide path from 80 to 20 % bonds over your working lifetime. Flaw is the UK bias and tend to be too conservative too early on.

    Great video and just what I was looking for. It seems that these ETFs have the majority weighting in US stocks so I’m wondering if it’s better to just go with an S&P 500 ETF with 0.07% fees. This might be better if held for the long term.
    Very interesting video Haley. Thank you.

    • @HayleyEich
      @HayleyEich  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Glad it was helpful :) yeah it’s something to think about, I guess it depends if you want exposure to anywhere else but you could always get that through other investments alongside the S&P 500!

    Easy decision. Global All Cap. I dont do ETFs (ever).
    Global All cap reinvests real time... even if its only £4.78. While ETF fractional amounts simply sit there as cash for 1-2 years without getting reinvested.

      Your usage of the word "in" is redundant in your sentence and it's i.e. not ie. You're spot on about the content, of course. My word for the day? Pedantry.

    I have a selection of funds, ETFs I cherry picked. But with next year’s ISA allowance I will just jump into HSBC FTSE All World Index Fund Acc C. Via IWeb (no platform fee) as this is cheaper than the above ones with same performance
