i would KILL for a series about celestia and luna, in their childhood and leading up to their falling out and luna’s banishment, like maybe it could be a little darker and more serious and more aimed towards older kids and teens. GOD i want it so bad but i don’t think it’ll ever happen
A spin off where Luster Dawn and Flurry heart are friends, and at some point you introduce Cozy Glow to become friend with them, and there you have it, a Trio of ponies that have very specific mindset and personnalities which could lead to some fun and complex situation.
I agree this is kind of more of what I was thinking and I was thinking like starting off with Luster Dawn really figuring out having friendship through out the first season and to also see places we didn't see in g4 like Apple wood and other cities/places like that.
All I would do is try to retcon the events of G5 so that it turned out that they took place in an alternate timeline, possibly an unchecked alternate timeline that Starlight Glimmer created so that way, not only would the perfect finale of G4 be kept intact, but it would also explain away certain inconsistencies with the lore in that show.
Equestria is such a vast, expansive and diverse land with so many different creatures that inhabit it. It would be ridiculous to NOT find an interesting way to continue G4.
I think the only meaning full “season 10” would be a prequel season that focused more on the story Celestia and Luna when they were young. Like from how they became Alicorns, meeting and being tought by Starswirl, the Pillars, young Cadence, Tirek, the Crystal Empire and Sombra, Nightmare moon, and maybe even exploring some of the unknown adventures that may have happened in the years of Lunas absence including Sunset Shimmer. True we know basic details about the years between the Pillars disappearance and The return of nightmare moon but not in enough detail and it could be a great idea to stay in the well beloved world of G4 without introducing something too new that could be dead on arrival
Plus if you wanted to do it a little bit like Better Call Saul you can always show more detail to the backstories of other side characters, past and Future. Maybe the season finale could focus on Celestia and Luna reminiscing in their retirement?
Hey my AU idea Twilight's School for Magical Creatures is literally a direct continuation of G4 with some small rewrites. I'm hoping to make some sort of visual series out of it. :)
NO LIKE ACTUALLY that's exactly what I was thinking cause it's so obvious when the young 6 remade the tree of harmony and stuff that they were gonna continue on with the tree and stuff, meaning there's a group after them and a group after them, the mane six weren't even the first 6 the pillars were the first six like there's MEANT to be something with that like why didn't they just revive g4 in a different way to make g5 like ughshshdh (I hate g5 sorry for ranting i also
I can't believe you went this entire video without mentioning Luster Dawn's name even once. I think a spin-off focused on her and her friends would be by far the most interesting choice.
I’d make a series based off the comics, as the episodes are basically already written. This would make the fan base who don’t have access to the comics more familiar with all the stories in them
I would really like a series set far in the future, where twilight school is still open, with her still running it, Celestia style, and follow a group of students at that school being tasked with solving conflicts all over Equestria. I think it would be nice to have it far in the future, so that it doesn't feel too similar to the events of g4, but still is very very connected.
If you think about it, they already sorta tried to make a spin-off show from FiM. Twice. First with Starlight/Trixie/Maud/Sunburst/Thorax, then later with the School of Friendship. You have the establishment of new protagonists with their own internal group dynamic and continuity more or less separate from anything to do with the original main characters. The latter even establishes its own distinct setting. If they'd just committed to running multiple series simultaneously, it could've worked. Have Starlight and Trixie move to the neighbouring village of Maretown. Do a Hogwarts story where the Student Six go to classes, get excited for the big dance, and gradually uncover Cozy Glow's conspiracy. But it was all too little, too late.
@@alanmichelsandoval8768 I think it's because both Starlight and Trixie are supposed to still be marginally evil. It gives the writers more wiggle room to have them be rude, self-centred, bickering, incompetent, etc., without hurting brand integrity. And if you look back at season 1, that kinda "Always Sunny In Fillydelphia" humour is where the show really shined. The Mane 6 were awful people back then.
As someone who is not a brony and only started watching pony content a few months ago, I'd say the best way to continue G4 is having a few seasons with all the episodes being "slice of life" for all the non-main ponies with every episode having more and more hints that something is wrong, leading us to the overarching plot in which they have to save the mane 6 from the big evil, while using their weak-normal pony powers, so at the end of the story the lesson really Is "friendship is magic" because with friendship even normal ponies can save their princess and her friends, the heroes of the land. Also, I love the idea of a second G4, just make their personalities the slightest bit different, make them befriend the villains and not redeem Starlight, and in general a season full of "What If.." episodes could do pretty well :D
I’d say one or two options: 1. Pick up RIGHT where season 9 left off, but move the focus from the mane six (they would still make occasional appearances when relevant and act more like mentors / supportive characters) and instead focus on old and beloved secondary characters’ future lives (like the CMC, Big Mac and Sugar Belle, The Cakes, Cadence, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart, Starlight, Sunburst, Sunset Shimmer Etc) or follow the newly introduced characters (like Luster Dawn or Lil Cheese) basicly dive deeper into future Equestria, from the characters who we only saw briefly either in the finally or just the whole series. 2. Go BACK in time and dive into the history of Equestria, before the series’ begining. Like Celestia and Lunas childhood, the old pillars of Equestria, Cadence’s backstory…) or even just flashback episodes featuring beloved g4 characters
If some of you guys want G4 back, just go to youtube & support g4 content creators. There are hundreds of fanmade episodes who can accurately make the feel or looks of g4.
I'd love to see a series covering the pillars before they were put in limbo, introducing Celestia and Luna later on. I believe it would be good to see the older villains (Sombra, Tirek, Stygian, etc.) have their backstories fleshed out so that when anyone watches FiM, they can look at it in a whole new light. Celestia and Luna would become the primary protagonists about two thirds of the way through, culminating in the arrival and banishment of Nightmare Moon. Celestia would be given the motivation to go and look for a protegé to replace Luna, and we'd see a montage of students over the years, eventually ending at Twilight.
I watched the whole video before writing out my continuation, but it looks like you landed right about where I was going to pitch anyway. My spin-off pick would be a post-S9 spinoff, following Luster Dawn. We'd need a new cast for her to become friends with and do adventures with, and honestly, I'd borrow a lot of things from G5, cos there's a lot of good there. Maybe Luster Dawn gets sent out of Ponyville to somewhere new, a different town by the coast. That way the show has a distinct identity from the more landlocked small town vibes of Ponyville. Maybe that coastal town is called Maretime Bay, maybe it isn't, but I like the idea of moving from the treehouse library to the lighthouse. It could be that Shining Armor and Princess Cadance, knowing the value that coming from a more normal upbringing has, also sends Flurry Heart there to live like the regular ponies. Vapid party girl Flurry Heart and studious awkward nerd Luster Dawn trying to roommate in the lighthouse in Maretime Bay, slowly getting to know each other and form friendships with other ponies in the town, sounds like a pretty good basis for a show. As I'm typing this, I'm realising I might've just been ponifying the first act of Wicked, but that might not necessarily be a bad thing. That show has sticking power and got a movie for a good reason. Flurry Heart interacting with a pony who's skeptical of the idea of monarchy and princesses, say, Sunny Starscout, could be interesting for her growth. Hitch Trailblazer being more of a Steve Irwin type (because ACAB) who gets Luster Dawn and Flurry Heart out of their comfort zones and into nature could be good. Flurry would probably fill Pipp's role, so we could either give her a younger sibling who's more the Zipp type, or Zipp could be around for other reasons. We could still visit Canterlot and Ponyville, and see the old characters and they could come visit the new locations for whatever reason, but the new show would focus on Maretime Bay, the Crystal Empire, and places we didn't really get a full exploration of, like Cloudsdale, or places that were mentioned but never seen, Fillydelphia, Vanhoover, Saddle Arabia, etc. Maybe Zephyr Heights and Bridlewood are also new locations, but they don't necessarily have to be.
Honestly, G5 really does just have the potential to be so much more than it was. And I love the idea of this spin-off continuation. The dynamic would be fresh yet familiar, distinct from G4’s cast while still feeling fresh. Love it
I like your spin off and multiverse ideas, my personal idea is a slice of life show that simply jumps between secondary characters through equestrian history show, occasionally showing Luna before she was banished, Octavia panicking as she's late for a show, an adult flurry heart trying to get a present for her friend's birthday, ect all showing the lives of popular characters who got a handful of episodes at best, just showing offer their personalities and live
I would make a series about Applejack and her famiy's farm. Winona can speak via a translation collar that Twi had made as princess of Canterlot. There could be an episode where Winona goes to Dr. Fauna for a regular exam, and also another visit to Dr. Fauna in a Valentine's Day special, where Winona is stuck lonely, with a broken heart. Also, Winona's barks and voice translations would be done by me.
We've already seen what the future of the g4 looks like (unfortunately), so I think logically next step could be what g4's past looks like, I would imagine that every season dives in to different era of equestria, like season 1 would focus on the founders lifes and how ponies start shape this unkbown land to equestria we all know, season 2 would focus on era of early equestria we could focus on early heroes of equestria like Gusty the Great, Clover the Clever and who else was inportant at the time season 3 would focus on pillars that's it, it would just give us more time with pillars okey onto the next part, season 4 (final) would focus on the early time of ponyville we could see things like young granny smith how Apple family start doing business with Rich family (plus we could see Filthy rich's granpa Stinkin rich) we could see different characters parents as fillies like Rarity's for example, or they could make 18+ series about ponies sexlife I don't know, sex sells Rick sanchez said so, so is probably True.
If I had control over the franchise, I'd try to create a show that occurs in between g4 and 5. It would explain just wtf actually happened between generations. Where Equestria went. Why the races split. Why magic went poof. The answer to all of these questions is simple. An invasion. Not of magic and wizardry, but of steam, steel and machinery. A war that would engulf the world and shake everything we thought we knew about equestria's history... to its foundations.
Something you could do is follow the students of Twilight's school, in and out of class. You could show both the results of G4, continue its lore. Seems like they were doing that a lil’ with the young six.
Two things: 1. Massive inter-generational crossover movie featuring Grogar as the main villain and Queen Rosedust and the Spirit of Harmony as the "Big Goods" 2. A series based on the aftermath of said movie In the most perfect world, the series would be my version of G6 (starring updated versions of ponies from the first four generations as well as G1's Sundance as the equivalent of Celestia) and would end with Rosedust sealing herself and Grogar away for eternity, passing on the mantle of Flutterpony Queen to Chrysalis However, with a little retooling, I can actually make it a three season continuation of G4 After the events of the movie (which resulted in Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow being released, Allura being reunited with Alterro, etc), Cozy is living with her "parole officer" Sunset Shimmer (who splits her time between the two worlds), while Chrysalis has become Rosedust's apprentice. Fast-forward about a decade, Flurry is learning hoof-to-hoof combat from Tempest, and Luster is (of course) being mentored by Twilight. The Young Six are briefly the focus of the first episode when Swift Foot returns to town, and the first villain is revealed (alongside a brief recap of Feats of Friendship): Swift Foot's father, King Diomedes. Cozy, Luster, and Flurry tag along for the resulting adventure, with Luster and Flurry being treated as children. Eventually though, Luster and Flurry prove their worth, with Flurry engaging Terri Belle in 1v1 combat while Luster and Cozy come up with the plan that ends Diomedes's reign. Terri Belle sees the error of blindly following her father and becomes the Queen of Thrace, while Swift Foot moves to Ponyville with her blessing Over the course of the rest of the series, the main characters of the original run of G4 are sidelined in favor of the new characters (this includes the Young Six sans Swift Foot) (big world-ending events still get them involved to rainbow laser stuff, but the new main cast are there to clear the path towards the bad guy) Other comic arcs are incorporated (but not all of them). Nightmare Knights Daybreaker shows up requesting Luna's help (turns out not all of Grogar's forces were defeated), and Tempest sends Flurry to deal with it. Siege of the Crystal Empire takes place later than the comic arc did, featuring characters that debuted after said comic did. The Generations comic is referenced during the big movie when G1 and G4 characters interact The final villain would be Opaline Arcana, except during the events of the movie, the G4 cast were given advance warning by the G5 cast, and thus Opaline is easily defeated before she even becomes a threat. Then there's a scene in the future showcasing all of the alicorn characters and a few others like Spike and Smolder, but it's never confirmed whether that actually happend or was just a dream by Luster (Luna winking at the camera being the last shot of the series implies the latter)
Okay. Here’s my pitch Everything up until after the events of A New Generation is intact. The only thing I’m changing about a new generation is to set it a thousand years after G4’s ending. We’ll start our story changes with Make Your Mark Sunny’s alicorn powers are only triggered union between the tribes. Only when they come together can they unite. It’d be like a season finale power up akin to rainbow power Changing the backstory of the crystals is a bit harder but here’s my attempt. Working off the basis that Twilight is immortal, she still watched over Equestria for many years after her friends died, searching for a successor like Celestia did for her so she can pass on as Celestia and Luna have (this is just my headcannon that an alicorn’s immortality is only intact as long as she rules. Cadence abdicated the throne to Flurry Heart after Shining Armor’s death). Twilight did not choose Luster Dawn as she did not want to live without her friends and her newfound respect for friendship and Twilight respected her wish. I’m going to say that Twilight’s student was Opaline (I’m scrapping Opaline’s backstory with the royal sisters) Opaline started out as a goodhearted student and was ecstatic to be an alicorn. Twilight trained her to rule and then left the throne to her and waited for her death. Circling back to the crystals and Equestria’s fall, Opaline ruled but the immortality started affecting her mental health and she started going a little crazy. Flurry Heart was still around by then and tried to reason with her but Opaline desperately tried to destroy magic in the hopes she wouldn’t have to live with her immortality, sealing the magic into the crystals (by this point, around a thousand years have passed, I feel Twilight’s reign lasted around 500 years since I think she would want to find a suitable apprentice quickly so she could still see her friends. And in this canon Celestia would have reigned for a thousand years to wait for Luna then begin training Twilight. Then Opaline would take the remaining years) Opaline scattered the crystals across Equestria and Flurry Heart sent the tribes to look for their respective crystals. But Opaline spreads propaganda about the other tribes to prevent the crystals union (if the Mean Three can do it, she can) so, the tribes split and protected their crystals, slowly forgetting their purpose. Flurry Heart, being older than Opaline, died while trying to fix Opaline’s mess and Opaline hid out in the abandoned Canterlot, waiting for her death saving Misty at some point to keep her company, but before her natural death came, magic was restored, and thus, we have a true motivation for Opaline (Will continue in reply)
When it comes to the season itself, I think I still would have Opaline send Misty to Maretime Bay to gain intel on the crystals and how they’re protected (I am also calling the “chapters” seasons and making them the legnth of a regular MLP season) throughout season one, Opaline will hijack magic tech to try and lower the defenses. Opaline is basically an entirely different character in my new cannon and has a rivalry with Flurry Heart and not Twilight. This is much more complex than “I want power because some sisters were mean to me one time ah!” IMO Im also cutting Sparky. I have nothing against him, but I don’t think he serves much of a purpose in the new canon I’m making (Also Sparky Spararoni is a dumb name) Misty’s backstory can remain the same, except the relationship with Opaline is less abusive. Around the middle of Season One, we’ll have Misty’s change in loyalty and I think things would play out similarly to the MYM episode but without Sparky and Opaline’s villainy. Misty’s instead going to lure the Mane 5 to the abandoned Canterlot and then Opaline will trap them and explain what happened in the Old Equestria and that she’s going to keep them their until she can keep the crystals properly contained (new canon is the crystals are indestructible so she can’t just destroy them to get rid of magic). Misty’s turn will come shortly after and she’ll directly confront Opaline instead of playing double agent. Misty will block the exit to Canterlot to prevent Opaline from pursuing them while the mane six escape. Opaline had sworn off using magic when she attempted to destroy it even after it returned but this moment will be the first time she does in order to escape. She decides to lay low until she can strike when the ponies are weak
NIGHTMARE MOON LUNAVERSE REPRESENT!! Seriously though, I do *love* what-if scenarios and dark alternate timelines, but I don't know if setting an entire *show* in the Lunaverse would work well. *Unless*.. you make it Luna as sole princess, Celestia having become Daybreaker, and she's been exiled to the sun. Could even make batponies canon then! Or at least give an explanation for Luna's guards being like that, lmao. I do like the idea of a spin-off. I always thought they were gearing up for making a CMC spin-off; it's a shame it didn't happen. Making one about Flurry Heart (being raised and mentored by her parents and Twilight Sparkle, mirroring Twily being tutored by Celestia) could be interesting, as it wouldn't be like undoing Season 10, but giving more story for side characters. They could also do things like show how Luna & Celestia are doing post-retirement, maybe have a better ending for certain villains (Legion of Doom found family redemption arc please???), and expand on beloved characters that didn't get a lot of show time. I feel like Starlight Glimmer is a pretty divisive choice for the focus of a spin-off/soft season 10. Her being a super bitchy cult leader turned off a lot of people, I think, and I've gotten the impression the later seasons focusing less on the Mane 6 wasn't so well received. BUT! you could have her show up as a recurring character, along with Trixie and others. There *is* potential in redeveloping her with prequel stuff, to make her more sympathetic and likeable, but I don't know how that would go down. At the end of the day, it's up to Hasbro and whatever they think will sell the most toys. Idk if they're see a spin-off doing that. ALSO, Starlight Glimmer was NOT a communist. She was a cult leader. There's more of Jonestown than Stalingrad to her old village.
Hahahahahaha! Funny thing because I am working on it. I am currently working on a spin-off continuation called "Journey Of Friendship" that takes place after Season 7, the first season is about the Mane 6 searching for different Ponies to represent new Elements for the Tree of Harmony. So I am cutting out the Movie, Season 8 & Season 9, the ideas in those Seasons are sound, just not executed properly. I even thought of a Prequel that would be a comic book spin-off, where Luster Dawn travels through time to see Equestria turned into G5 and has to go back to stop those events, but then finds an anomoly in the timestream, which she fixes. Thus setting a new chapter for the Mane 6.
I even created a new villain for it, a powerful magic-wielding Ibex who is a nod to Grogar. He rules a Kingdom, kinda like how Doctor Doom rules Latveria, justifies his crimes and schemes like Makuta, and commands a Dinosaur Army with a baby velociraptor as his assistant.
i like the idea of a g4 reboot not being mane 6 based. like they're there obviously, and its happening after season 9 ends, but the reboot would touch on other characters' stories and even give us new lore and things we had no idea about... and i KNOW it would do well since one of the most well-rated mlp episodes was slice of life.
I already know how to (kinda) continue G4: reviving Equestria Girls for a third season, and maybe a fourth. The finale of EQG 3 will lead up to Human Sunset's official debut. Plus, in the ending, once Sunset and Sunrise (Human Sunset's new name) become friends, Sunset makes the big move and leaves the human world behind, moving back to Equestria and ruling alongside Twilight. And this is after she became an alicorn (She deserves that title, leave me alone!) Oh! And from what you said in 5:28, does this count as a What If? episode? = What If Sunset returns in Season 9? or something i actually read up on fimfic (Though in this Season 5 tale she does get redeemed in the end), What If Sunset Shimmer wasn't defeated? . (Also, not wanna put g5 in this, but in that theory of Twilight outliving her friends, at least there's one friend who's still here with her)
And aside from my Sunset spin off, another Spin off, this one about Flurry Heart since we never saw her as a grown up in the finale, now i want that too.
I mean they basically set it up for us. Continue the school of friendship, and they already gave us a new set of 6 with the students. Continue with the kids being in regular school events, to reconnect with younger audiences. The different species gives the group a huge area for connections, explorations, and soooo much new content. Explore each of the different locations around the map, and their respective species. Teach the whole “everyone is unique yet similar but perfect blahblah”. maybe send the group off with each of the teachers, on bigger trips. Introduce Luster Dawn & Flurry Heart in their own special longer episodes, and introduce the group into whatever new version of elements. Leave Luster or Flurry as a secret missing element for a while. Send them off with Fluttercord to maybe the breezies, RariSpike to dragons, AppleDash to the hippogriffs, FlutterJack Kirins, etc. This gives the mane6+ the time to reconnect with old friends, and the kids to make new friends, meet new people, species, cultures, foods, lifestyles, etc. This would give more room to connect with different viewers. Maybe they spend like half a season or so in each area. This would give a wide range of more toys&merch. and still give the ability to continue using some toy molds and stuff that are already made within the companies. I’m not entirely sure how the timeline in this would work, not my problem lol. Swap around the characters or whatever, but bring in whatever familiar faces you can, bc that’s always gonna be a positive for fans to see older loved characters.
I’ll be honest, G5 started off pretty well as having good potential for continuing the story of G4. I’d personally take the movie of G5 and rework the series after the fact. Keep the movie the same, change the series. I’d make it natural post-apocalyptic. So there’s old buildings buried and covered in nature all around the world. Once the three tribes are reunited, Sunny and Co. go and explore this uninhabited Equestria. All of the races stuck to such tiny corners, everything else has been taken over by nature and time. So the group explores, spurred on by a discovery of an old journal from Sunny’s dad, telling of daring adventures he went on with Sunny’s mother when they were young. Wanting not only to learn more of the world, but of her parents as well, Sunny explores the world with her friends. They find ancient ruins, hidden societies of ponies that chose to stick together and create hidden towns, with their own stories of the ponies who attacked each other over their differences (akin to how the ponies of the three tribes had stories of each other in the movie) Sunny and Co could discover an older Discord living in the heart of an overgrown and wild forest, one with wolves made of wood and sentient plants covered in thorns, the house in the center an old cottage with a tree sprouting from the center, bird houses and windchimes scattered about. This old discord has gone a tad senile over the years, when the magic of the ponies disappeared, the harmony magic also disappeared, leading to a domino effect of discord losing his chaos magic. While still immortal, he could no longer use his magic or leave this realm. He stayed and cared for Fluttershy’s old home, and her animals of her forest in her memory. Discord tells stories of adventures he went on, though he is an unreliable source and recounts the adventures incorrectly and tends to ramble, forgetting what he says as soon as he says it, but sometimes he has knowledge that is true, once, as the group leaves him, he says goodbye and warns them of a dangerous power, one that awoke when the magic came back, one that seeks the destruction of the world. The group dismisses his warning, taking it for more ramblings, and continue on their adventure. At some point the sun and moon stop moving, in a panic they check the journal and find that there is an ancient clock tower, they find the tower and find that, inside, behind the ancient gears and metal, lays a small hoofheld clock, one with a picture of the sun and of the moon, a clock that has been attached and configured to the mechanisms of the machine, the machine of the tower has kept the clock turning but has now broken, needing a rare material to refuel the machine, alicorn magic. At this point, Sunny will have mastered her form, and offers up her magic to the machine. As she does so, the machine continues running, but when Sunny stops using her magic form, the machine stops running. Sunny realizes that when it beds alicorn magic, it means all of it. So, at the choice of losing her alicorn form to save the world, she gives up her alicorn magic to the machine, continuing the clockwork and allowing the sun and moon to move once again. When she does so, something happens however, and she is pulled into a dreamlike state, one where she is talked to and given warning by Luna and celestia that a terrible entity is coming for her and that she needs to be ready. Sunny says she can’t do anything now that her magic is gone, but the princesses reassure her that it will return when she fully understands. Yada yada, cue more adventures with Sunny learning to use her own skills rather than her alicorn skills she’s been leaning on for most of the show, then big bad appears (idk maybe it’s like the real Grogar or smth, actually freed from the stars) and as all hope is lost in the series finale, Sunny realizes the magic of friendship and that being an alicorn wasn’t just a power boost, but the culmination of her friendship with the ponies around her and that she is stronger with her friends than alone, gaining a true alicorn form and becoming the princess of Unity or smth and defeats the big bad saving the day with her friends.
I think it depends on how long it's been since the show ended. If it's only a couple years then it's fine to do something more different since the ending is fresh and that's what people expect. In that case, I think the best option is to go to the Crystal Empire and focus on Flurry Heart. It's a setting we don't see often in the main show so there's room for new worldbuilding and lore and Flurry Heart can be a new character while still being connected to G4. And sometimes Twilight or one of the other mane six can make cameos. Think "The Increasingly Terrible Life of a Teenage Pony Princess" except better written and more child friendly. If it's been 10-15 years then I think preying on nostalgia is the best option. Make it a sequel series with one or more of the mane six in a major role. I'm sure some of the voice actors will come back since many are still going to conventions five years after the show ended. Maybe it could be more mature since the demographic will lean towards nostalgic adults. Maybe the first episode could be Twilight coming back to Ponyville after a long time and she sees how much things have changed and that leads into something. Maybe focus on Luster Dawn.
Personally I would really like to see a spin off follow Luster Dawn from the last problem, but if hasbro really wanted to keep using the mane six then it could take place in between the last two episodes of season 9. There was a huge gap there between episodes and they could definitely take advantage of that to make more G4.
Since twilight turned into an alicorn she will live much longer than her friends, and I would like to see her mourn the death of her friends and then coming to terms with it and get stronger because of it. I would like to see how she rules the kingdom and how she handles everything on her own and I would love to see her looking back at the memories of her friends and them keeping her head high when she feels low. Also remove season 8 and 9 or at least change A LOT because those two seasons were a mess. Some good episodes but mostly cringe for me.
I think a spin off about flurry heart learning what romance is would be amazing. Like instead of having to learn friendship flurry would have to travel from place to place learning what the other cultures veiw as a good marriage. Maybe as a more teen age base
This is going to be heavily opinionated as all predictions and expectations for upcoming media are. But in my opinion, the only respectable way to go about a "G4 revive" is to continue the story right after the events of "The Ending of the End, Part 2" and have the new story cover all of the events that lead up to "The Last Problem" instead. I believe this is the most sensical way to continue the G4 storyline because the season 9 finale was a near perfect show ending and continuing the story after that ending we got would be quite disrespectful to just go right ahead and reopen up and expand on that chapter after the book has already closed. By continuing the story off after the events of The Ending of the End Part 2 it would make more sense considering there was a massive time skip in between that episode and The Last Problem, which leaves many unexplored events that could've took place in between as well as other topics the show never got too much into such as Applejack's parents and why Scootaloo seemingly can't fly just to name a few, there's so much more they could expand on without disrespecting the season 9 finale. Another few things I'm sure my proposed idea of a G4 revival series would need to be faithful is an art style that is identical or similar to that of the original series. All of if not most of the original VA's should make a return as well, which does sound like it could be hard to pull off since it's been so long but I'm sure Hasbro could manage to get them all back onboard if they really wanted. Also can't forget to bring back Daniel Ingram as the show's music composer for this as well, his work is truly legendary and would be an amazing addition. Last but not least, getting as many of the original show writers back for this would simply seal the deal for making this the perfect G4 revival. I myself and I'm sure many fans of MLP: FiM would really appreciate it if the show took these proposed ideas rather than just rebooting or making a spinoff. I'd like to hear what everyone else here thinks about this take? Please let me know in the replies.
Celestia's revealed to be a reincarnation of a sun god and had previously betrayed all the other gods killing them all including her lover eventually Luna AKA nightmare in this situation stops her leaving celestia's child orphaned interview raised by two pony she previously trusted also Celestia would have no idea she has a kid in this situation the kid would eventually come back looking for vengeance and justice epic fight scene blah blah blah filler filler important lore Celestia has to talk with Twilight while looking at the sunset about how all things come to an end in her immortal Life is coming to its final Sunset as well as the sun falls below the horizon Celestia disappears with the light There you go not spell checked not punctuated and using voice type
Chronicles Of Equestria. random stories, of literally any genre, about literally any character, in the setting and context of the fictional world of Equestria as established by Friendship Is Magic. the only rule is hasbro executives (or me, if we're assuming /I/ would be the one in charge) have to review it, like it and sign on it (like they did for the entirety of the MLP franchise). MLP already was kind of like that, but I think it should lean into being an anything-and-everything show since it would have limitless potential. it could have some more Daring Do's adventures and ancient powerful artifacts. more Power Rangers style heroes vs villains episodes. (boys and men loved those. To Where And Back Again 1&2 were really good) an episode about Luna's 2nd ever Nightmare Night where everything went perfectly and Luna got showered with all the love and admiration she always wanted. she would finally be happy with her position as princess for once. maybe an episode centering on the Royal Guard (and since the producers liked to make fun of the show's past tropes, that episode could address how the Royal Guard was taking a turn for the better and becoming an actually capable military force instead of being pathetic). more worldbuilding. you name it. and not make male characters into jokes. the male characters deserved better. (seriously, there was great potential for the show to be more than an obvious feminist fantasy. it would appeal to even more people, and argueably have much better quality, if it didn't have this glaringly obvious political leaning) for example, make Shining Armor into a prince (read: alicorn) and make him actually able to fight. my dude is one of the most disappointing characters with how easily he got beat again and again. this total failure was supposed to be the captain of the royal guard? no wonder the guard was a joke. AND they literally left a princess undefended for YEARS. YOU HAD ONE JOB! hell, the ponies can stop being stupid for once AND LEARN TO COMMUNICATE. I swear it's as if every other episode in the show is about the importance of communicating and questioning. I can go on and on about the many faults in G4... but I'll keep it at that for now. ALSO DISREGARD THE COMICS ALSO ALSO IF THEY'RE DOING A PONYVERSE WHY NOT DO A HASBROVERSE WITH GIANT ROBOTS AND EVERYTHING HASBRO ALSO ALSO ALSO Elon should buy hasbro, because it can't be any worse, can it? kek.
I would make Grogar (the real one this time) the next big bad. At one point he would interact with Discord after finding out he had been impersonating him in season 9
That would be interesting, and maybe Grogar would force Discord into an alliance with him, Tirek, Cozy Glow, Chrysalis, Sombra, Nightmare Moon, Starlight Glimmer, Sunset Shimmer, the Storm King, and lots of other villains from G4.
I have an entire fanfiction universe with 2 different stories so far, Equestria Dawning and The Forgotten Crystal. They're both next gens, set 24 years after Twilight's coronation. The Forgotten Crystal follows Princess Skyla, Flurry Heart's little sister, in her journey of self discovery and being noticed, which shifts to a fight to save The Crystal Empire. Equestria Dawning is about 7 different next gen characters (Luster Dawn, and the children of Applejack and Rainbow Dash, Luna, Fluttershy and Soarin, Starlight Glimmer and Tempest, and Celestia and Sombra). The Spirit of Harmony tasks them with taking over the work of the Friendship Map, since Twilight and her friends have more important duties. (And no, they aren't future Elements of Harmony or whatever you think that may be implying).
Maybe an alternate universe My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is instead a mid-90s cartoon and then the show ends in late 2005 or so and then maybe over 10-20 years later after it ended Hasbro would Reanimate and Remaster the earlier seasons in HD similar to Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy & Nitro Fueled or Spyro: Reignited Trilogy or Pac-Man World Re-Pac and then they will make a new sequel season to continue the story.
The best way I would continue G4 is to do a "What" If type series, each season exploring a different tineline in MLP, like what if Celestia Snapped? Or something along the lines of that, infinite ideas could abound from it, easy money maker and you could reuse that scrapped G5 concept as a Season or So, idk just my thoughts.
a series about Luster Dawn training under Twilight from Ponyville how Twilight did with Celestia and learning lessons from each of the Mane 6 as she makes new friends. with ponies like Cadence and Flurry Heart being prominent characters too
I'd probably make a season where it shows Twilight getting used to ruling the entirety of Equestria, cause while jumping to the future was a nice little detour for the end of the show, it did leave a LOT of Questions in my mind!
The only way G4 should be revived is with an official, partial revision of Season 9 and everything building on it, plus a continuation of Equestria Girls. Join and support this fan campaign if you agree and help make that happen.
@@BrandonHenderson-n8f officially rewriting and/or replacing some of the poorly-written, inconsistent parts and re-releasing the whole season. Such parts include the princess retiring, Sombra returning, the Everfree Forest attacking, Fluttershy forcing carnivores to eat plants, Rarity and Gabby acting like they haven't met twice before, Ahuiztol being good, Grogar being fake, the other villains getting turned to stone, the time skip and the book closing at the end.
@@SaveMyLittlePony I personally didn't like how the writers made Discord pretend to be Grogar and the whole series ended at the end of a book. If I would rewrite Season 9, it would be where Grogar is real and unites all the villains of G4 (even forcing the reformed ones), the rest of the Mane 6 are turned into alicorn princesses and Fluttercord and AppleDash are 100% canon
@@BrandonHenderson-n8f we’re definitely hoping to make them change it so Grogar is real and the main threat, among other things. Would you care to join and support this campaign to make that happen?
I think the only way you really could make a proper continuation that wouldn't make a lot of fans angry is to make the remaining 13 episodes for Season 3 and give it a two part finale that leads into Magical Mystery Cure in a way that doesn't make Twilight's ascension into a princess come too much out of left field. And then potentially expanding on the 'What If' idea and also a spinoff would be to create a divergent parallel timeline where the events of the 2017 movie don't happen, and thus creating a new Season 8 and 9 hopefully without Hasbro forcing the writers to center an entire season story arc around a poorly made toy.
I love an idea of having luster Dawn move to ponyville where she becomes friends with the cmc, then those three teach her about friendship and the magic behind cutie marks, especially her cutie mark! She earned it in an unorthodox way and is really confused about what her destiny should be so the four of them travel from City to city and to other parts of the world meeting other creatures and becoming their friends. In the process lustered on learns more about herself, and inevitably decides she doesn't need to know what her cutie mark is actually means. At some point Twilight suggests that they meet furry who has now become the ruler of the Crystal empire. Flurry hates her job and desperately wants to do something else so and the 5 of them actually work on fixing larger problems throughout the entirety of the world and try to reform Chrysalis and Tirek and cozy glow. After mostly successfully subduing them, the ground opens up when Grogar comes out to fight. but the power of friendship he is defeated. Twilight wants to reward for Luster Dawn for all of her hard work but she declines saying she would rather live a quiet comfortable life with her close friends. So flurry heart hands the Crystal empire back over to her mother and the group actually go out and start their own nation, trying to create a melting pot of all the cultures in Equestria. Then they could overcome small conflicts that could happen to the cultural differences and could teach kids about other cultures and how things are differently practiced more expanded upon than G4 ever did.
I had always thought that the next new Series Version of MLP: Friendship is Magic should be called: "My Little Pony: Friendship is Equestria", & continue after: "Friendship is Magic", leaves off & try to provide more about the Country & land that is Equestria, follow up with the lives of "The Main 6.", including Starlight Glimmer, & also giving some more character backstory to some specific characters: Starlight Glimmer, Cozy Glow, & do more with Flury Heart, How Alicorns age & What the number of rings on the horns of Unicorns means for age identification & on Alicorns themselves & more backstory of the following Royal Sisters: Celestia, Luna, Cadence & about how the creation of Celestia's "School of Magic" started & of it's origin. Keep the same background & flavor of MLP: FiM from G4 & DO NOTHING TO CHANGE IT, just keep it going, but in a new series title, but still considering it: G4. Also: to include more new & up to date friendship lessons 4 everyone to take to heart & learn from (the main highlight being carried over from & that was: "Friendship is Magic") !
I'd make a series post Timeskip, where it's explained how Opaline managed to defeat the mane 6 and separate all of equestria and it's allies. She could've been a Student of Twilight, who backstabs her and causes mayham behind her back. I'd probably be a short series or a long one, depending on how it's written. When Opaline gets outed as a villain by someone or herself, the Tree(house) of Harmony and the Castle of the Two sisters could be a sort of safe Haven for everyone, shielded be Harkony itself. The series would probably end with Twilight sealing magic away, tying into G5. I'd be a not written section of Twilight's story, which would explain WHY the book closed in S9. It was never written down or got lost to time.
Speaking of narratives not being fulfilled... Cozy Glow. I still feel like her plotline in season 8 was a little rushed. I mean, she's introduced around halfway through the season, and in the finale School Raze, she's revealed to be the Big Bad.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Chapter 2, Season 1, Episode 1: The Return of the Beginning Over the season, I would reveal: - Celestia and Luna only retired to suppress HUNDREDS of monsters Cozy Glow released by draining magic and destroying containment measures. They're doing their badass thing holding back the horde, and the mane 6 get to go and help them at times. Endless streams of crisis-level threats as every nation's supervillains are released all at once. - The Chrysalis-loyalist changelings manage to get the statue and release her - Twilight gains access to a portal-medallion ala Neighsay, visits ponyville regularly, it's as though she never left... - Student six get more screentime - Bonbon shows up as a more regular character as the Agency works to suppress the monster threat - Explore Twilight's slowly mounting stress as she takes on the throne's responsibilities - Fluttershy expanding her animal sanctuary to take on more magical creatures; perhaps newly created rejects from Grogar, since he was released too? - Pinkie Cheese? - Rarity contends with her growing success; Twilight's ascension has made her even MORE popular among the nobility in Canterlot, could be interesting - Rainbow.. IDK, starts to experience more challenges testing her loyalty to the wonderbolts, and teamwork, as they are called on to help contain the monster threat? - Maybe some experiments of Sombra have been let loose too... - WAY MORE SCEENTIME FOR THE TREE OF HARMONY PLEASE
- ...i liked season eight. - i would LOVE a spinooff. even one where every episode is about a different character?? one ep abot starlight, her past then her future. another ep about flurry heart growing, maybe one about celestia and luna's childhood or, heck, maybe luna had some interesting experiences on the moon? who knows! so many cool ideas
It's like a an honour to meet you ccxd 😊. I wanted to propose a plan for the future of MLP. What if I told you that I made an entire fan fiction from G1 to G10 with each GEN lasting 10 seasons and all that was missing was to transform it all into a comic. And I also fixed the whole world of Equestria girls What do you think?
I Would Age Up The Cutie Mark Crusaders And Add More Grown Up Characters To The Group Like Cozy Glow,Flurry Heart And Luster Dawn And Maybe Certain Things That Happen In Equestria Girls Could Be Explained Like How The Sirens Were Banished There Who Knows I’m Just Thinking Of Ideas
I would delete the episode when they got older and return to the normal then make a new episode called "the new rivals return" about twilight hanging with friends but then fluttershy runs in saying "twilight! twilight! come here." fluttershy sounds nervious and confused, and more energized then usual, twilight gets up and looks around in confused, getting hyped about the situation, fluttershy leads the way to a crooked house with a name written spelling Euria, "who's name is that?" twilight asked, "and why are we at their porch?" then fluttershy looked around "I s-swear they said it was here.." "what was here? where are we? what is this all about? why do they want to talk to me?" twilight asked, I will add to the script soon but that's one of the new episode's.
It would be nice to see a prequel series on Celestia and Luna! See how they were send from Skyros to Equestria to learn about different pony and creature species, learn how to be royal, and see how Luna became Nightmare Moon and was banished to the Moon. If Optimus And Megatron got their story in Transformers One, why not Celestia and Luna in their own prequel series.
A few things 1. Rewrite the story to, while still concluding the narrative for our main cast, put the main focus on the Student Six as characters. 2. Have the main villain of the inevitable finale be the real Grogar. 3. In the meantime, provide the unanswered (outside of the comics) continuations for the 2017 movie characters. And all of this would be done with a main season focused on the Student Six, with a brief spinoff to continue the movie characters' stories.
I would tell a deep story about the history of ponkind before Equestria. There would be one movie at the start of the ten year generation, one in the middle, and one at the end. There would also be a TV series to accompany the movies that would release one season every one and a half to two years between the first and last movie. There would be plenty of other forms of content to expand the world of MLP such as books, comics, and MLP’s first triple A game. That’s my personal plan if I had control of MLP for at least even one generation, a very large story over the course of ten years, still in the same universe as G4, but not at the same time as G4 (the time when the story takes place would likely be thousands of year in the past).
I would probably do something like a bit of a redcon for the last problem and do something similar to Dragon ball super. Where Twilight would start to have second thoughts about ruling the kingdom on her own. And instead, she runs off to run from her destiny. Spike and the others figure out that she ran away and go to try and find her. Meanwhile, Celestia starts to feel guilty, thinking that she was pushing too much on her to rule equestria on her own and now finding a partner to help her, after learning that her friends have plans that will separate then from each other. After finding her and making sure that they won't forget her, Celestia decides not to go on with the coronation and simply wait for another successor for the Thorne and Twilight can stay in Ponyville with her friends. Twilight suggests Sunset shimmer would make for a better candidate since she has shown that she knows how to make the tough decisions. Sunset shimmer agrees, but only after she graduates high school next year to come to equestria and study under Celestia again. This would not only make for a great season 10, but also encourages a few more seasons. Maybe up to season 15 or 18 if we wanted to explore more of equestrians lore.
Yippee!!! I'm early! Before watching the video what id do for g4, I'd probably make shorts(THAT ARE ACTUALLY IN THE SHOWS ARTSTYLE) that feature all the characters including the ones in the friendship school!! If not that maybe a spin off for background ponies so we can see more into their backstories? Something like "My little pony: other friends" or "my little pony: behind the scenes"????
How to revive it. Take almost all of S9, and some of S8, toss it in the dumpster. Then toss the dumpster into a septic tank. Then launch the septic tank into the sun. Then have someone that knows what they're doing write a proper ending to the show, with no ass pulls, ridiculous shipping, and time skips. Not so hard. Honestly throwing out S9 and considering Rainbow Roadtrip the ending is a significant improvement even if it's not ideal. In the 2 years from S7-S9, FIM went from my favorite show of all time, to the worst thing I have ever seen on TV. The last episode is the single worst episode of any show I have ever seen in my entire life (and I'm not young). The only pit in the universe deep enough and dark enough for that garbage is a supermassive black hole.
I just felt that the CMC wandering the world solving cutiemark problems and Starlight (and maybe Trixie) going off as was teased in Celestial Advice would have been good spin-offs for world building. I did like Marvel's What If series, but it would be funny if they also implicitly or not-so-implicitly encountered some of the abridged series character interpretations (I especially would like to see the Mentally Advanced Series RD meet The Bird 😄) A Starlight Prequel series about her descent into the Harneson Bergerpone philosophy sounds good too though, especially if they somehow shoehorned in a justification for Secrets of Starlight using her colour scheme despite having nothing to actually do with her /)
Just let FiM rest. You all saw how the show's quality degraded in the final seasons, Pony Life, and the sorry state of G5. The latter's choice to be a continuation of G4 ended up hurting both. It's better to let it be a good memory than to bring it back as a soulless zombie. "Hasbro should take notes from Marvel and-" No. Adding a multiverse is one of the worst things you can do in fiction. It renders all accomplishments and consequences meaningless.
First, I'll wrap up Equestria Girls, with a third season, and then a fifth movie. The girls are about to graduate, and are now talking about thier plans. But magic has been exhibiting odd phenomenons, which would pick up the thread of the magic "escaping" in Legend Of Everfree. Throughout the season, key components would be the return of the Dazzlings, and potentially their reformation (I haven't decided yet) as well as Cinch, who is wasted potential galore. More male antagonists. That is non-existent in EG. The final movie, lenghtier than traditional, would be a tie-in with Cozy Glow sending the magic into the human world, which permitted human Sunset Shimmer to returning. She was displaced from reality when the pony Sunset went through the portal, since magic didn't really exist at that point, and now seeks revenge. Through an epic battle reminiscent of the Twilight vs Tirek fight from Season 4, the girls would defeat human Sunset, who would reform and become the mantle of the group. However, this also means that pony Sunset Shimmer will take the magic with her back to Equestria, as they wave goodbye towards each other. The girls would then graduate and focus on their ambitions. For the pony show, it would take place after the Last Problem. Flurry Heart would be a prominent character, and the primary one would be Luster Dawn. She ascended as Twilight's new assistant, and also befriended the Young Six, which effectively forms the fresh Mane Seven. They witness that past villians are returning, and they venture off to defeat them. This includes Sombra and the Storm King, both of whom refuse to reform. This isn't the case for the Mean Three, however. They accept it, and what would resume is a collection of episodes following their redemption arcs: Tirek joins the Pillars, Chrysalis resumes her duty as Queen Of The Changelings, and Cozy Glow heads back to the school. Except she doesn't, it was all a facade! Cozy is unable to turn over a new leaf, and secretly acted as a spy for Grogar. The real one. He was aware that the Mane Six and the Mane Seven are too dangerous for him, so he hoped that the prior villians would succeed in overthrowing them, which would permit him to rising to power once more. He recognized the potential of Cozy Glow's manipulative behavior, and utilized her for his plans. Grogar would work behind the scenes, as he regains his magic while Cozy is posing up a front for him. Then, on a fateful day, he finally strikes: the plan is that Cozy would lure the protagonists to his hideout, where he would drain them of their abilities then trap them. This backfires though, and the protagonists attempt to face off against him. They soon find out that Grogar is too powerful for them. Grogar soon conquers Equestria, and neutralizes the heros. Enter, Discord. It's revealed that Discord was actually invented by Grogar, and is also tied to him. Discord is faced with a decision: continue Grogar's tyranny, or sacrifice his life for him to be stopped? The pick is obvious, even if not at first glance. With the combined forces, they're able to finally silence Grogar at the cost of Discord's life. Cozy Glow is then punished permanently this time, while the protagonists celebrate, gleeful that they rescued Equestria.
I've always thought a spinoff was the best way to go. There are SO MANY interesting avenues to go with it! PS: Your ending catch phrase is SO weird! It sounds like it's meant to be genuine advise, except it's literally an oxymoron.
Option 2.5 sounds both awesome and interesting because a Twilight from a universe where Nightmare Moon won and being forced to become a multiverse jumper to escape, meeting and befriending alternate versions of the 5 people who were meant to be her lifelong best friends if things turned out differently, and creating The Multiverse 6 could make for both a character study for Twilight and rest of the Mane 6 as well as a world building study since this Mane 6 don't have their fate as the Elements of Harmony predetermined by some tree or a Rainboom but instead the true bond of friendship. Perhaps, a friendship that's even stronger than the one between them in the Prime universe? Also, if you're listening Hasbro. Alternate Universes means Alternate versions of toys to sell... and isn't that what it's all about at the end of the day?
After some thought, I think I'd sidestep this. NO new series. Instead Hasbro is going to focus on its merchandise and casual gaming sales. That said, there will be specials still. The focus won't be on the Mane Six but they can guest star on ocassion. You launch a new game. I think the repetitiveness of MMO quests but locked into a single player/friends list only setting could work well for young children and casuals alike. The setting is good for mini games. You still have the reward/pay-to-unlock things but you have the exploration/discovery focus along with a focus on dressing up your pony and decorating a house. You can have the characters safely move between cities with the rail system. You can have players 'move house' by talking to the mayor/person in charge at the area. Each zone has different mini games (Appleloosa has a pie fight, running of the bison, carriage races, etc). 'Quests' are doing things for others, you increase 'friendship' with characteres for... some kind of benefits. Maybe they'll join your 'party' if it's high enough. I think a 'safe' / low penalty exploration and discovery type game could work well, the tie-ins with new toys could coincide with events in said game. Similar to what they were doing with Gameloft, but re-geared. You could have Twilight's portal warp you to G5 instead of EqG. Or G1 even. That said, Hasbro is wounded financially right now. I think even something like this would be too financially costly. Specials coinciding with new toy sets might be the only way forward for now. Especially with safe nostalgia bait.
I have come up with a possible theory that doesn’t take place after G4 but between a missing gap from the series finale. My theory is basically a four-piece bridge from one edge to another. More specifically, the events of Twilight’s coronation to when we meet Luster Dawn in the future. My theory goes beyond the unexpected. When you talk about the multiverse, let’s have G4 not crossover with the older generations, but crossover with the real world?? Have the magic of friendship compare with our world and Equestria. Have the Mane Six visit Earth and learn our culture while defeating a new G4 antagonist. They might meet a human who’s going through a serious friendship problem that requires Twilight and her friends’ help.
A series about the mane 6 meeting their direct opposites. As said in the early days befor mop g4 actually came out, there were supposed to be instead of discord, another mane 6 of the elements of chaos. The elements of chaos are like the mane 6 from the episode where discord makes them go insane or whatever. IT WOULD BE GOOD IM ALREADY WRITING IT LOL
Easy, maje it about Kuna learning how to make new friends, ignore tha kast twi seasons and make it about Celestia asking Luna to make new friends since she is a bit distant and hasnt been around for a thousand years (give or take) the thing is Kuna is socially awkward and doesnt know how to establish relations, so her only friends are the mane 6 and the cutie mark crusaders (because she helped them in their dreams) and since the mane 6 are always busy so Luna establishes relationships with people with a troubled past like Trixie, Starlight, Discord and why not? Sunset shimme, so eventually we get a kind of messed up version of the Mane 6. This show leaning more towards comedy with disfunctional friendships like the one Trixie and Starlight have.
lusterdawn could go on to become the alicorn after twilight, meet flurry heart & somehow reform cozy glow and have their protege be the student six or maybe reverse that and have lusterdawn, flurryheart & reformed cozyglow be their protege and probably fix the crystal bloony mess created, resulting in lusterdawn becoming a permanent alicorn unlike sunny, who's alicorn form is just a powerup
Ha ha, that's an excellent question, my friend. If I ever had full control over the G4 franchise, I would start a sequel called My Little Pony: The Magic of Friendship Continues that would hopefully be twice as long as Friendship is Magic, where the kids of the MANE 6 become the new heroes of Equestria and certain ships become 100% and officially canon. Such ships would include: 1. Fluttercord 2. Rarispike 3. Flashlight 4. Starlight X Sunburst 5. Appledash Other ideas would include the origins of Celestia, Luna, and Discord, where the Elements of Harmony and the Tree of Harmony came from, where Starswirl and the Pillars came from, and maybe one last Equestria Girls special where we get to see where the MANE 7 are in their future lives. Suggestion: you should make a vedio on whether or not the rest of the Mane 6 should be alicorn princesses.
i feel like a prequel focusing on celestia and lunas backstory and past adventures would be a really good idea. they could even dive into what happened to skyros which would be interesting. 😛
Full on prequel about Luna and Celestia. All the way from their youth to luna Exile and ending the series with twilight appearence. I would give it more adventurous vibe like. Through first 3 season we see how exacly Luna and Celestia came to power and their adventures around Equestria. Expolartion of their relationship and then starswirl training. This first arc would have ended with them becoming princessess and taking their roles as princess of night and sun after defeating a major threat. Then through next season we will see how they struggle to fit into this role. And we could see how Celestia grow more arogant and distant from her sister. We could also explore the period with princeska amore and crystal empire that will lead to the fall of the empire and conflict with sombra and luna could show first instances of her jelousy and anger towards Celestia (something like in fall of the crystal empire fan animation). The next 2 seasons we will see how they grow older and distant. And it all could lead to a climctic finally in a form of final duel between sisters and of course luna transfomration into nightmare moon. It could have been a huge climactic battle that will end with luna exile and the epiloge will take place centuries in the future with Celestia we know. And the final moments will be a call back to first episode of mlp where Celestia will send a very memorable letter to her faithull studnet. Setting the stage for a new story of a certain unicorn. And thanks to this the ending of friendship is magic will remain the definitive ending. And we can explore ideas that were only mentioned. We can also see a potential other spin off about the pillars of equestria. I would do it like avengers of mlp. In similar way as avengers earth mighties heroes were did. But these are just my ideas
Remove Seasons 6 to 9 (with a notable exceptions of good episodes), Increase amount of Season episodes to a same length as in other seasons (26), remove school of friendship, give deeper reasoning and lore to Twilight Alicorn Ark, revise Twilight's Castle design and put Lauren Faust back in. (she would also have a hard task of covering plot holes of G5 while also giving a different satisfying ending to G4) Grogar would be an actual villain. (Personally, I would keep the same design and voice, including the same voice actor and I would also keep the bell, including its abilities and design.) Evil Twilight that was teased would become canon and some unused MLP ideas would be used, which would be free to Lauren Faust to decide. I would also give satisfying ending to Equestria Girls and put Sunset Shimmer into MLP:FiM. (the latter half of the last part would depend on fandom consensus and Lauren Faust's decision, as it would put a question into attention on whether EG should be canon to MLP:FiM.)
id make a g4 sequel that's Amed for teens and takes place shortly after twilight moves to cantorlot, with some prequal epsoids focused on charecters like cadence, luna, celesta ect. id also would fill in the gaps between g4 and g5 that explains how g4 became g5 timeline wise.
Explore pinkie pie’s chaos magic extends to cheese sandwich and cheesy pie Something to show that the pinkie pie clones that twilight popped didn’t actually die Explore the backstory of the beginnings of the changing species More thorax centered episodes General worldbuilding Sombra redemption from the comics Redemption for the three final villains Twilight reverting back to immortal form and leaders not getting selected based off of power Male allicorns Dropping underlining Preconceptions about men Explore the bat ponies Explore more interpersonal relationships More explanation for different magics, as well as magic conversion, for example flutter shy is probably a Pegasus that had most of her. Mac turned into earth pony magic, which explains why she’s such a bad flyer and can talk to animals or pinkie pie’s magic being converted to a chaotic state when the shockwave of the rain Boom hit her A sort of scientific analysis of the internal logic of certain things ect.
I would continue the path seasons 8 and 9 set up by shifting focus of the majority of the episodes over to the young six instead of the mane 6, while still having them appear in episodes here and there of course I would also show more tales from around Equestria that haven't really been seen in the show, like exploring the culture and happenings in Farasi or the Infernal Lands for example
After watching your video I wanted to ad this idea. I hate celestia why beacuse she’s a boring charge that dosnt grow but if they did a spin off series that fixed her in my eyes I would love it!
Cozy Glow redemption arch. Maybe in a future light years away, without the copywritten alicorn Twilight sparkle, Cozy Glow is released and then has to actually learn friendship is magic. If she fucks up, there is no empress of friendship. The whole world and all the creatures just ends. Cosy Glow is resourceful. Have a canon in the stone ages where if she doesn't have a change of heart, winter kills everyone. Cosy Glow vs the Windigos (omgwhat if the windigos take Cozy Glow on, and they happen to be guiding entities. And when the Alicorns died out, they had no choice but to meddle. So they brought Cozy Glow back, because they knew in her heart, there was the goodness to save everybody, all.
i would KILL for a series about celestia and luna, in their childhood and leading up to their falling out and luna’s banishment, like maybe it could be a little darker and more serious and more aimed towards older kids and teens. GOD i want it so bad but i don’t think it’ll ever happen
So theres this thing called fanfiction
I love that
That should be a movie instead, and with a different animation, maybe hand drawn
@@I_do_stuff_99 fanfiction is great but I wanna see it animated and stuff lol
@@alanmichelsandoval8768 OOH you're so right about that
A spin off where Luster Dawn and Flurry heart are friends, and at some point you introduce Cozy Glow to become friend with them, and there you have it, a Trio of ponies that have very specific mindset and personnalities which could lead to some fun and complex situation.
I see people friendshipping them a lot and I think that's such a fun idea.
I agree this is kind of more of what I was thinking and I was thinking like starting off with Luster Dawn really figuring out having friendship through out the first season and to also see places we didn't see in g4 like Apple wood and other cities/places like that.
@@mylittleponykid, Vanhoover is one that came to mind for me.
@@CinemaSongscovers Exactly
@@mylittleponykid, Winnieappolis too. I think it was mentioned in the show, in the episode Spice Up Your Life, and I don't think we saw it either.
A spin-off following the Pillers during the history of Equestria would be cool
"ARE THESE ALL FUCKING CHANGELING STORIES?"
Is way to funny.
Yes, they are all changeling storys
I would love more changeling content
All I would do is try to retcon the events of G5 so that it turned out that they took place in an alternate timeline, possibly an unchecked alternate timeline that Starlight Glimmer created so that way, not only would the perfect finale of G4 be kept intact, but it would also explain away certain inconsistencies with the lore in that show.
Equestria is such a vast, expansive and diverse land with so many different creatures that inhabit it. It would be ridiculous to NOT find an interesting way to continue G4.
It WOULD be rediculous! LONE LIVE G4!
0:18 uhhhhhhhhh idk, make horse yuri???????? This is a lot of unexpected pressure
lol me in middle school
This would make the fan base who don’t have access to the comics more familiar with all the stories in them
YES PLS!!!
The starlight Trixie dynamic was the best of the series, the one more similar to an actual friendship between adults.
I’d say one or two options:
6:10 YOUR LITERALLY DESCRIBING THE NEW SONIC SHOW, SONIC PRIME! THAT WAS FIRE TILL THE LAST FEW EPISODES
I love that idea.
Love it
I need a fanfiction of exactly this because celestia knows hasbro isn't creative enough for this since g4 ended
A war that would engulf the world and shake everything we thought we knew about equestria's history... to its foundations.
i would want a finale movie, where the main six, now old have to defeat an entirely new villain, who completely overpowers them
Actually seeing the main 6 becoming princesses would make sense and be dope af
Something you could do is follow the students of Twilight's school, in and out of class. You could show both the results of G4, continue its lore. Seems like they were doing that a lil’ with the young six.
Oh yea they should do smth w MLP EG.
Man it sure would be interesting if *someone* made a pitch video to continue G4… if someone maybe pitched a 20 episode season.
Two things:
1. Massive inter-generational crossover movie featuring Grogar as the main villain and Queen Rosedust and the Spirit of Harmony as the "Big Goods"
2. A series based on the aftermath of said movie
In the most perfect world, the series would be my version of G6 (starring updated versions of ponies from the first four generations as well as G1's Sundance as the equivalent of Celestia) and would end with Rosedust sealing herself and Grogar away for eternity, passing on the mantle of Flutterpony Queen to Chrysalis
However, with a little retooling, I can actually make it a three season continuation of G4
After the events of the movie (which resulted in Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow being released, Allura being reunited with Alterro, etc), Cozy is living with her "parole officer" Sunset Shimmer (who splits her time between the two worlds), while Chrysalis has become Rosedust's apprentice.
Fast-forward about a decade, Flurry is learning hoof-to-hoof combat from Tempest, and Luster is (of course) being mentored by Twilight. The Young Six are briefly the focus of the first episode when Swift Foot returns to town, and the first villain is revealed (alongside a brief recap of Feats of Friendship):
Swift Foot's father, King Diomedes.
Terri Belle sees the error of blindly following her father and becomes the Queen of Thrace, while Swift Foot moves to Ponyville with her blessing
Over the course of the rest of the series, the main characters of the original run of G4 are sidelined in favor of the new characters (this includes the Young Six sans Swift Foot) (big world-ending events still get them involved to rainbow laser stuff, but the new main cast are there to clear the path towards the bad guy)
Other comic arcs are incorporated (but not all of them). The Generations comic is referenced during the big movie when G1 and G4 characters interact
The final villain would be Opaline Arcana, except during the events of the movie, the G4 cast were given advance warning by the G5 cast, and thus Opaline is easily defeated before she even becomes a threat.
Then there's a scene in the future showcasing all of the alicorn characters and a few others like Spike and Smolder, but it's never confirmed whether that actually happend or was just a dream by Luster (Luna winking at the camera being the last shot of the series implies the latter)
Okay. Here’s my pitch
Everything up until after the events of A New Generation is intact. The only thing I’m changing about a new generation is to set it a thousand years after G4’s ending. We’ll start our story changes with Make Your Mark
Sunny’s alicorn powers are only triggered union between the tribes. Only when they come together can they unite. It’d be like a season finale power up akin to rainbow power
Changing the backstory of the crystals is a bit harder but here’s my attempt.
Flurry Heart, being older than Opaline, died while trying to fix Opaline’s mess and Opaline hid out in the abandoned Canterlot, waiting for her death saving Misty at some point to keep her company, but before her natural death came, magic was restored, and thus, we have a true motivation for Opaline
(Will continue in reply)
When it comes to the season itself, I think I still would have Opaline send Misty to Maretime Bay to gain intel on the crystals and how they’re protected (I am also calling the “chapters” seasons and making them the legnth of a regular MLP season) throughout season one, Opaline will hijack magic tech to try and lower the defenses. Opaline is basically an entirely different character in my new cannon and has a rivalry with Flurry Heart and not Twilight. This is much more complex than “I want power because some sisters were mean to me one time ah!” IMO
Im also cutting Sparky.
That would actually be epic
And this is after she became an alicorn (She deserves that title, leave me alone!)
Oh!
If they wanted G5 to be connected to G4, they could’ve focused on Luster Dawn and her friends. It literally was right there
I think it depends on how long it's been since the show ended.
I want a G4 series following the original G4 timeline but focusing in the background six, like a full-show Slice Of Life
I think a spin off about flurry heart learning what romance is would be amazing.
Season nine episode26 was a good episode. It gives me goosebumps every time. rest in peace G4.
Celestia's revealed to be a reincarnation of a sun god and had previously betrayed all the other gods killing them all including her lover eventually Luna AKA nightmare in this situation stops her leaving celestia's child orphaned interview raised by two pony she previously trusted also Celestia would have no idea she has a kid in this situation the kid would eventually come back looking for vengeance and justice epic fight scene blah blah blah filler filler important lore Celestia has to talk with Twilight while looking at the sunset about how all things come to an end in her immortal Life is coming to its final Sunset as well as the sun falls below the horizon Celestia disappears with the light
There you go not spell checked not punctuated and using voice type
To Where And Back Again 1&2 were really good)
an episode about Luna's 2nd ever Nightmare Night where everything went perfectly and Luna got showered with all the love and admiration she always wanted. she would finally be happy with her position as princess for once.
maybe an episode centering on the Royal Guard (and since the producers liked to make fun of the show's past tropes, that episode could address how the Royal Guard was taking a turn for the better and becoming an actually capable military force instead of being pathetic).
more worldbuilding.
you name it.
and not make male characters into jokes. the male characters deserved better. (seriously, there was great potential for the show to be more than an obvious feminist fantasy. it would appeal to even more people, and argueably have much better quality, if it didn't have this glaringly obvious political leaning)
for example, make Shining Armor into a prince (read: alicorn) and make him actually able to fight. my dude is one of the most disappointing characters with how easily he got beat again and again. this total failure was supposed to be the captain of the royal guard? no wonder the guard was a joke.
ALSO DISREGARD THE COMICS
ALSO ALSO IF THEY'RE DOING A PONYVERSE WHY NOT DO A HASBROVERSE WITH GIANT ROBOTS AND EVERYTHING HASBRO
ALSO ALSO ALSO Elon should buy hasbro, because it can't be any worse, can it?
A prequel. All new characters. Have it eventually lead to the very beginning of Celestia and Luna's time.
Continue canon with the young six taking on their positions as the new elements of harmony.
What exactly do you mean by "a partial revision of Season 9?"
@SaveMyLittlePony That depends. What do you have in mind? Send a letter to Hasbro and the writters and request that they make such a story?
I had always thought that the next new Series Version of MLP: Friendship is Magic should be called:
"My Little Pony: Friendship is Equestria",
& continue after: "Friendship is Magic", leaves off & try to provide more about the Country & land that is Equestria, follow up with the lives of "The Main 6.", including Starlight Glimmer, & also giving some more character backstory to some specific characters: Starlight Glimmer, Cozy Glow, & do more with Flury Heart, How Alicorns age & What the number of rings on the horns of Unicorns means for age identification & on Alicorns themselves & more backstory of the following Royal Sisters: Celestia, Luna, Cadence & about how the creation of Celestia's "School of Magic" started & of it's origin.
If I had to, it will be how twilight protect her kingdom and meet new characters and friends❤
Chapter 2, Season 1, Episode 1: The Return of the Beginning
Over the season, I would reveal:
- Celestia and Luna only retired to suppress HUNDREDS of monsters Cozy Glow released by draining magic and destroying containment measures. They're doing their badass thing holding back the horde, and the mane 6 get to go and help them at times. Endless streams of crisis-level threats as every nation's supervillains are released all at once.
- The Chrysalis-loyalist changelings manage to get the statue and release her
- Twilight gains access to a portal-medallion ala Neighsay, visits ponyville regularly, it's as though she never left...
- Student six get more screentime
- Bonbon shows up as a more regular character as the Agency works to suppress the monster threat
- Explore Twilight's slowly mounting stress as she takes on the throne's responsibilities
- Fluttershy expanding her animal sanctuary to take on more magical creatures; perhaps newly created rejects from Grogar, since he was released too?
- Pinkie Cheese?
- Rarity contends with her growing success; Twilight's ascension has made her even MORE popular among the nobility in Canterlot, could be interesting
- Rainbow..
How I'll continue G4? I'll just give a proper finale to Equestria Girls, and that's all
Agreed. It's a damn shame we never saw Sunset Shimmer's human counterpart.
@PatchesNjose hope that EQG will get a proper ending one day. Just like the Clone Wars
I would delete the episode when they got older and return to the normal then make a new episode called "the new rivals return" about twilight hanging with friends but then fluttershy runs in saying "twilight! twilight! come here." fluttershy sounds nervious and confused, and more energized
then usual, twilight gets up and looks around in confused, getting hyped about the situation, fluttershy leads the way to a crooked house with a name written spelling Euria, "who's name is that?" twilight asked, "and why are we at their porch?" then fluttershy looked around "I s-swear they said it was here.." "what was here? where are we? what is this all about? why do they want to talk to me?" twilight asked, I will add to the script soon but that's one of the new episode's.
A few things
Okay, but who is Samantha, though?
I did like Marvel's What If series, but it would be funny if they also implicitly or not-so-implicitly encountered some of the abridged series character interpretations (I especially would like to see the Mentally Advanced Series RD meet The Bird 😄)
A Starlight Prequel series about her descent into the Harneson Bergerpone philosophy sounds good too though, especially if they somehow shoehorned in a justification for Secrets of Starlight using her colour scheme despite having nothing to actually do with her /)
Just let FiM rest.
I would love a spin off series of the comics fully animated
Such ships would include:
1. Fluttercord
2. Rarispike
3. Flashlight
4. Starlight X Sunburst
5. Appledash
Other ideas would include the origins of Celestia, Luna, and Discord, where the Elements of Harmony and the Tree of Harmony came from, where Starswirl and the Pillars came from, and maybe one last Equestria Girls special where we get to see where the MANE 7 are in their future lives.
Suggestion: you should make a vedio on whether or not the rest of the Mane 6 should be alicorn princesses.
Either- continue with the CMC (AS- I LOVE THEM) continue with flurry heart, or luster dawn (or both!) Or- the G5 BEING THE G4's KIDS!
i feel like a prequel focusing on celestia and lunas backstory and past adventures would be a really good idea. they could even dive into what happened to skyros which would be interesting.
I'd probably make an episode about big Mac and grand pear spending a day together and what grand pear thought of big Mac and suger bell's marriage
Reboot the universe, start all over, a new story. Everything is new just like g4 started.
id make a g4 sequel that's Amed for teens and takes place shortly after twilight moves to cantorlot, with some prequal epsoids focused on charecters like cadence, luna, celesta ect. id also would fill in the gaps between g4 and g5 that explains how g4 became g5 timeline wise.
Explore pinkie pie’s chaos magic extends to cheese sandwich and cheesy pie
Something to show that the pinkie pie clones that twilight popped didn’t actually die
Explore the backstory of the beginnings of the changing species
More thorax centered episodes
General worldbuilding
Sombra redemption from the comics
Redemption for the three final villains
Twilight reverting back to immortal form and leaders not getting selected based off of power
Male allicorns
Dropping underlining Preconceptions about men
Explore the bat ponies
Explore more interpersonal relationships
More explanation for different magics, as well as magic conversion, for example flutter shy is probably a Pegasus that had most of her. Mac turned into earth pony magic, which explains why she’s such a bad flyer and can talk to animals or pinkie pie’s magic being converted to a chaotic state when the shockwave of the rain Boom hit her
A sort of scientific analysis of the internal logic of certain things
ect.
I would continue the path seasons 8 and 9 set up by shifting focus of the majority of the episodes over to the young six instead of the mane 6, while still having them appear in episodes here and there of course
I would also show more tales from around Equestria that haven't really been seen in the show, like exploring the culture and happenings in Farasi or the Infernal Lands for example
Spin off focusing on the Student Six. No brainer. Those characters were wasted.
I would love to see more story added to the 2017 G4 movie (The Storm King and Tempest)! I think that would be fun.
After watching your video I wanted to ad this idea. I hate celestia why beacuse she’s a boring charge that dosnt grow but if they did a spin off series that fixed her in my eyes I would love it!
Finally, the outro is back!
I would make cozy glow have a genuine redemption arc, and make the episodes a little less discriminatory
I would make a spinoff show of celestia and luna and cadence just more about the alicorns and maybe flurry heart
