I would guarantee that we haven’t seen the end of new invasions. There are so many characters they haven’t done and still a lot of potential for the mode. I would imagine that they’re spending time working on year two content and retooling the mode itself. They’ve put far too much effort and time into invasions to just drop it this early in the games life. Now a year from now, sure, but I just can’t see them dropping it.

Considering we have 20ish characters on the roster if we were to run through them all now and this game is expected to run for more than a couple years then we would wrap them up a little after year 2. I think this makes sense truly. I hope so for story and kontent :)
@@ScottyKombat for real, and with the neglect that some of the characters have gotten it’s high time they gave some love to Baraka, Geras, Ashrah, Ermac..etc. having only two or three skins for those characters is absurd. And how cool would a “Season of the Timelord” be for Geras? So they gotta quit sleeping on some of these characters. And I’m just going to put this out there, I love invasions. The first season was doo doo but I think it’s a lot of fun now and it’s a good way to level up characters for those sweet sweet time crystals.
Remember the time when we waiting for the Warrior Shrine reveal. For having a leaderboard. The gift of Towers of Time is poisonned. It not feels like MK11 ToT. They offer you 2-3 skins and that it. They fumble your time for 5% or 10% completion that feel impossible without IA battle
I almost forgot about this, it was sooo bad in season 1; like almost every encounter had some super armor in a varying degree. Our combos always got interrupted over clunk noises. They fixed this pretty quick but I hope its not brought back lol
The only way I see this working if they go back to season 1 is if every character, including dlc, gets brand new skins. Not just color palettes, but skins.
I feel you there man, its a conflicting feeling for me. It'll free me up for more things with the game, and I may revisit some if we got new rewards, but I'd still like a fleshed out season with a new story/boss. The game felt like it had a lot more to choose from with Seasonal Tower, Invasions, & ToT for single player
I'm excited for the repeat seasons. I beat the bosses, but for some reason refused to open chests or do the seasonal tower, so i can hopefully get some stuff I missed. I'm also hoping that there's more OOD skins in Invasions, but we'll see. I'm calling it now, Ermac will be the next Titan Battle.
I think repeating old seasons (either in a menu you can replay or just repeating them) and good for new players that may want to experience the short story that goes along with it. Sometimes it isn’t just about the rewards.
I always hoped for that feature to come to extras or somewhere; that is the ability to rewatch the intro/endings of each season. If they could pack in the dialogue about each boss too that would be fantastic.
I hope for the future of Invasions after Season of the Dark Dragon we get to choose the main Invader Titan boss. Now I know it's far from likely seeing as how if they were to do this they have to make a mini story with comic like cutscenes for every character before this season is over but I just think it'd be neat if we the players got to pick and choose the invader (also the option to swap Invaders whenever the player wants to because it'd no longer be a live service game mode) to get their OoD skin (this includes guest, imo they should also have UoL, OoD, and New Era skins, they don't need New Era, but it'd be nice I guess to see how the guests would look in Liu Kang's timeline if they existed in it :) Sorry for the essay, just had to clarify what I meant. As someone who cleared all seasons of invasions I did did miss smokes season 3 snowdrift order of darkness skin from Kombat league but other than that I have all the invasions rewards. And I also enjoy invasions. Edit. as smoke being one of my favorite mk characters of all time was really hoping for a smoke season since season 1 of invasions.
You and me both brother. His place in MK felt like it would've been more prominent this time around from the start of the story but I think he's cemented as a side character for now. When we got his OoD out of S6's chest I was like yeah, there goes smokes season lol. Smoke has always been one not get the spotlight, but have some mystery too and as a fellow smoke fav I know you get it too. The mystery remains on his cyber skin
It's so nice to have now. MK1's fighting mechanics hooks me as a my favorite so all the more kontent the better, I'm always rooting for this game to get more/improve. ToT is a hit ✊
It's necessary relooping the Invasions, many Players bought MK1 on sale and missed a lot of stuff. For players they played at day1, NRS should implementing stuff from Kombat League, like Meteor/Luck Towers in Mk11. Also ist brings back rare Talismans, which be need to beat Titans easier. A nice move from NRS for beginners and a smart move to get more players back on board. They're curious and interesst in MK1, so NRS can make sure to get more cash, by selling more Premium Stuff to them🤑😂
I play invasions strictly and it has been rough to say the least. I love the latest changes and the added towers of time. I missed the first 2 seasons and love grinding the past seasons skins tower. I want the Christmas costumes. It used to be a tedious grind to make a talisman that would allow you to grind the seasonal tower, the addition of the challenges (especially the animality for stat herbs and the kombo bot for 5% boosters) has been a game changer. My Cyrax has 300 health, attack, special, etc. as well as +110% to all elements lol. So now I don't even use a talisman an I absolutely dog walk the level 90 seasonal tower. The level 30 (hard) towers, I run through for money. I'm profile level 400 and have like 2500 seasonal points. When the timer runs out immature just play the seasonal tower with Cyrax and get the 30 points a tower repeated since they needed it down from 50 points.
Same here. My Tanya has around 190 health, and around 90 attack and vice versa, and its pretty much a walk in the park for even the hardest tot tower. Repeating her 3, 1+3, move up and repeat works 90% of the time finishing with her 3, 1+3 tap down brutality works most of the time to make tot a great way to earn coins to buy brutality and skin/pallets.... Still, I prefer a krypt over any konquest krap or invasions. I just want an option to turn OFF kameos once and for all for ALL modes so I can enjoy the klassic 1 vs 1 MK. What MK should be, and it will be even better if they add AI fight that the system win for you like they did on MK11
I played the first season and then stopped, mainly because there were no maps and I sometimes went a few days between plays and I'd forget where I was up to. At least they'll make it a bit easier for me.
The first season had a rough start with an overburden amount of talismans and super armored encounters. They nerfed armors and just made a map so hopefully its more friendly to newer folks
Come on if Shang tsung and quan chi got titan skins so should the rest of the dlc characters…I don’t know they might just be titan battles instead or we get the order of darkness and union of light skins for the dlc characters in the shrine
Maybe like they’re repeating season we might get another half of the story for the season maybe we see scorpion and harumi together this time maybe Raiden comes back from the void or something because not every single season had a conclusion but hey that’s too much to expect from NRS.

@@ScottyKombat I’m just saying it would Be a good opportunity for them to expand on some new stories because some season didn’t get a satisfactory ending even in season 3 when sub zero was killed we still don’t know if there is another grandmaster coming in the way and to make you join my side like titan sub zero died frost can take his place for that season only of course cause it’s clear that invasion isn’t canon but the only way we’re get additional invasions story is if we make a wish with the dragon balls
Technically Shang Tsung is a preorder bonus DLC. And for whatever reason his mastery goes up to level 35 unlike the rest of the DLC. Quan Chi did get a Pyramid Titan Battle skin but he was not a invasions boss unlike Shang Tsung who was which is not the same thing.
I'll admit Invasions can be repetitive sometimes but I have played through and kompleted every season mainly because I really like grinding for different gear and Skins because I play a ton of different Kharacters so I am definitely bummed that there are potentially no more new Mesa Bosses. Hopefully they will do what they did in MK11 Kombat League at the end of Season 15 where they go back to Season 1 and reuse the same Seasonal Theme or Boss but add new rewards to unlock. I enjoy Your videos and koverage of the news and the game as a whole, will definitely have to join your King of The Hill sometime ✌🏻
I wasn't able to play till season 3 but at least Sub is my favorite character but Scorpion is my brother's favorite character so it's good for him and I'll play because I like the skins
I think they will bring all the previous skins for past invasions. They might bring back the all the old ones on top of giving us a specific way to unlock new ones such as treasure portals, special ToTs, seasonal store, etc.
~ I missed out on season one so it will be interesting to see what I can unlock! I just wish the Shrine was more of use I have ton of coins I can’t spend until a whole month for a new season and that sucks in my opinion we should be able to trade them in for at least seasonal coins sorry off topic rant lol ~
Nah you're good dude I get it. I think players who have more items waiting from last seasons in the shrine should have more capacity, and some way to convert kurrency even if the conversation rate is rough. I'd rather trade in 10k gold coins for 250 seasonal koins, versus having 300,000 gold koins with nothing to spend it on (vice versa). It makes me happy seeing players like you get the opportunity now to experience the old seasons so it doesn't feel like useless as someone whose beat it. I hope you enjoy it man ✊
I agree, I've noticed not a lot of players knowing about this and it may leave a sour experience for people thinking khaos reigns was going to continue with new seasons but now the main focus really is towers unless you weren't around early on. There are some things they don't communicate well on.
If they do that will be awesome. I like the little stories and it's been awhile so I wouldn't mind some old refreshers. Sub-Zero's timelime stuck out the most me, then Nitara's and Scorpion's.

Invasions ending is sad but also I’m ok with it…the thing that annoys me is the legacy tower they made it seem like the point of the legacy tower was to get the skins from past seasons that we may have missed out on. Now I didn’t expect us to get rewarded with Kombat skins but bro come on this is dumb I think they hate us

Man if we got invasions or konquest that played like 11's perspective and speed that would have been great (granted invasions not be objective and story driven like konquest and more free roam between chests and encounters, it could've made a much more immersive impact). The table top view with near linear travel is a harder sell in comparison.

Good, I'm so tired of playing MK1 invasion mode, collecting new attires and stuff. It's too much that I didn't have time to play my other games such as Final Fantasy 7 remake, Star Oceans 2 remastered, Street Fighter 6, Resident Evil 7 Gold, Super Mario Wonders, even Silent Hill 2. I hope this is the last season, so I can move on to play other games.

Invasions is ok in a sense, but I would prefer krypt over it. I only play invasions to unlock new skins/pallets, and thats it. Once I complete it, usually in 2-3 days, 4 at most, I see no reason to go back... I want a gigantic krypt that you can use your koins to buy skins, gears and what not like mkda had. I do NOT want some stupid rpg, catch the green light, or adventure sh*t called konquest garbage. I would prefer 1 vs 1 fighting, and more kind of fighting or mini games. I NEVER touch story sh*t in any fighting games, and I hate the idea of having forced to play that damn sh*t in order to unlock some good stuffs. Though ii may only be me...
Think there's four characters that haven't got there full Order of Darkness skins, Reiko, Kenshi Smoke & Tayna, they should give Reiko and Smoke Season 9 & 10
@@ScottyKombat like I imagine new seasons with non order of darkness skins as the final reward, like perhaps new skins or remaining ones (Cyber Smoke) to be earned. I think it'd be cool for a Cyber Invasion season, like the Tekunin/Cyber Lin Kuei invade and the final reward/boss is perhaps a Male Sektor, with Male Cyrax and Cyber Smoke (heck maybe even other cyber skins entirely new) to be earned along the way.

Maybe we can still earn some of those rewards in some towers or chests along the way though, unless we really do get new invasions like that after this repeat. I would love a lin kuei or cyber invasion theme. They could have augmented palettes or skins for certain characters. Awesome in theory I have to say. I would love it, great thinking

I'd like that but I can't think of many current stages now for that to happen. This may be a cheese take but it would be awesome if we we could finish our opponent off like the arcade ending at the pyramid stage. Input command and watch your fighter kameo kick the other player down and away

I can see agreeable points in most things to make but this one is actually one that has held me onto MK1 and dubbing it on one of - if not, my favorite MK game. The fighting has improved so much. Its more dynamic and smooth. The balancing is decent, I think MK1's gameplay is addictive and fun

Honestly, I think it will only be worth repeating if they added pallets for the newer characters that weren’t around for those Seasons pallets too

I wasn't able to play till season 3 but at least Sub is my favorite character but Scorpion is my brother's favorite character so it's good for him and I'll play because I like the skins

I think they will bring all the previous skins for past invasions. They might bring back the all the old ones on top of giving us a specific way to unlock new ones such as treasure portals, special ToTs, seasonal store, etc.
~ I missed out on season one so it will be interesting to see what I can unlock! I just wish the Shrine was more of use I have ton of coins I can’t spend until a whole month for a new season and that sucks in my opinion we should be able to trade them in for at least seasonal coins sorry off topic rant lol ~
Nah you're good dude I get it. I think players who have more items waiting from last seasons in the shrine should have more capacity, and some way to convert kurrency even if the conversation rate is rough. I'd rather trade in 10k gold coins for 250 seasonal koins, versus having 300,000 gold koins with nothing to spend it on (vice versa).
It makes me happy seeing players like you get the opportunity now to experience the old seasons so it doesn't feel like useless as someone whose beat it. I hope you enjoy it man ✊

I enjoyed invasions, I think its wack they didn't announce this prior to Khaos Reigns. I like that there is towers now but Im sad for this.
I agree, I've noticed not a lot of players knowing about this and it may leave a sour experience for people thinking khaos reigns was going to continue with new seasons but now the main focus really is towers unless you weren't around early on. There are some things they don't communicate well on.

I enjoy the seasons.
I believe Invasions will still be playable if they continue to add newer and newer skins and/or possibly some throwbacks.
If they do that will be awesome. I like the little stories and it's been awhile so I wouldn't mind some old refreshers. Sub-Zero's timelime stuck out the most me, then Nitara's and Scorpion's.
I'm happy for some of these skins bc I missed out on some seasons but damn no new skins :///// it's so upsetting

Invasions ending is sad but also I’m ok with it…the thing that annoys me is the legacy tower they made it seem like the point of the legacy tower was to get the skins from past seasons that we may have missed out on. Now I didn’t expect us to get rewarded with Kombat skins but bro come on this is dumb I think they hate us

Man if we got invasions or konquest that played like 11's perspective and speed that would have been great (granted invasions not be objective and story driven like konquest and more free roam between chests and encounters, it could've made a much more immersive impact). The table top view with near linear travel is a harder sell in comparison.

Good, I'm so tired of playing MK1 invasion mode, collecting new attires and stuff. It's too much that I didn't have time to play my other games such as Final Fantasy 7 remake, Star Oceans 2 remastered, Street Fighter 6, Resident Evil 7 Gold, Super Mario Wonders, even Silent Hill 2. I hope this is the last season, so I can move on to play other games.

Invasions is ok in a sense, but I would prefer krypt over it. I only play invasions to unlock new skins/pallets, and thats it. Once I complete it, usually in 2-3 days, 4 at most, I see no reason to go back... I want a gigantic krypt that you can use your koins to buy skins, gears and what not like mkda had. I do NOT want some stupid rpg, catch the green light, or adventure sh*t called konquest garbage. I would prefer 1 vs 1 fighting, and more kind of fighting or mini games. I NEVER touch story sh*t in any fighting games, and I hate the idea of having forced to play that damn sh*t in order to unlock some good stuffs. Though ii may only be me...
They krypt and conquest have always been great MK modes. Invasions isn't the best but I will say that it is a mixture of fights and mini game modes.
I hope it's a mix of old and new.
Think there's four characters that haven't got there full Order of Darkness skins, Reiko, Kenshi Smoke & Tayna, they should give Reiko and Smoke Season 9 & 10
it'd be interesting if it's a blend between new seasons and old ones repeated.

I think it'd be cool for a Cyber Invasion season, like the Tekunin/Cyber Lin Kuei invade and the final reward/boss is perhaps a Male Sektor, with Male Cyrax and Cyber Smoke (heck maybe even other cyber skins entirely new) to be earned along the way.
@@KuWota2k I'm intrigued. I don't think something as big as the cyber invasion is happening but I have to say that sounds like one of - if not; the coolest invasions concept.
Maybe we can still earn some of those rewards in some towers or chests along the way though, unless we really do get new invasions like that after this repeat. I would love a lin kuei or cyber invasion theme. They could have augmented palettes or skins for certain characters. Awesome in theory I have to say. I would love it, great thinking
The Lin Kuei and the Tekunin are separate clans, they are not the same so I don't really see them working together.
@@streetkombat6088 i didn't imply they'd work together. But rather be options for invading forces. The Tekunin is an offshoot/derivative due to it being made by Sektor. What they are is interchangeable because I specified Cyber Lin Kuei

I'd like that but I can't think of many current stages now for that to happen. This may be a cheese take but it would be awesome if we we could finish our opponent off like the arcade ending at the pyramid stage. Input command and watch your fighter kameo kick the other player down and away
@@ScottyKombat They can create new stages for fatalities. It doesn’t have to be the same ones That’s currently on the game. They have to be more creative than the same old stuff.

MKs dev team need to seriously fire/redo/ remake the gameplay division or this game is doomed. It should fight on the level of DBZ Fighterz , a true fun fighting game.. idk what these clowns are making nowadays.
I can see agreeable points in most things to make but this one is actually one that has held me onto MK1 and dubbing it on one of - if not, my favorite MK game. The fighting has improved so much. Its more dynamic and smooth. The balancing is decent, I think MK1's gameplay is addictive and fun

I don't get the smoothness or fun part of any MK since the inception of MK4. Gameplay actually went down in Deadly Alliance and still ongoing. MK is the last fighting game I play, and for good reason
