I didn’t want to comment on the tower until after I’ve done it… getting to the level 75 tower has to be one of the worst grinds I’ve ever done in a video game it was not fun💀

"Woke" contents aside, Kameo is indeed COPYCAT from KOF's (King of Fighters) Striker. It wouldn't make the series great & it's irritating BOTH "L" & "R" buttons of my Switch are almost broken for this game due to this stupid feature, while Kameo's are required to complete tasks in Invasions. Besides, Story Mode sucks that part of the plot is illogical (i.e. Finding Shang Tsung using a so-called talisman instead of directly asking Sindel about his location), and to the extent let Havik be "Another Wukong" by tearing off his arms & still failed to defeat Noob (Seriously?). Also, it's ridiculous Additional subscription is required to join online matches & collect some of the skins via Weekly Quests - Price of the base is expensive enough that it was around HKD650 at the time of release.

Idk why bro but ur thumbnails always are killer been meaning to say it. Like who’s this in my feed? Slim Shady talking about MK1? 😏 Anyway yeah I think the stages are without a doubt the MVP of MK1. Even those who dislike everything else about MK1, always hold the stages in high regard. Some similar feels on these stage rankings, Wu Shi Academy being on the actual platform would had been fire. Unfortunately I think since we are in 2D plane it creates technical problems. As a moving platform in 3D but we are stuck in 2D potentially the camera would bug out. Would be cool as you know MKDA is in my name hehe. Wu Shi Academy being my most favorite stage in 1. Followed by the Teahouse and so on. I also agree we could use some new stage variants, potentially even a New Year one. For 2025 hey Valentines, Easter and even St Patrick’s all could produce some interesting stage variants. Quirky but I’d be down to see it. Now for the bigger question aka the pink elephant in the room. What about STAGE FATALITIES? This is one thing that I still feel will come but not sure when. It’s either with T-1000 or with the “big surprise” update so there’s still hope for that. I doubt they end support without adding stage fatals, that would be a first ! Look at the Maze if that stage fatality doesn’t write itself, I’ll eat my Sunday hat. They definitely working on a major overhaul to MK1 imo. May not be KP3 that’s fine at this point but there’s something in the cards. MK1 : Ultimate? 🤞

As the Tea house is my favourite Mortal Kombat 1 stage I am gutted that I don't have the third variant. Looks like I won't be able to get it either.

Love your videos! Watched till the end, so I know you did rank the Khaos Reigns stages ;-) I'll give you a fun fact which you may not have realised: MK1 is the only game MK game in which stages make no gameplay difference at all - they are all 100% aesthetic. MK1-4 had stage fatalities, MKDA had the acid buddha statues and some objects you could knock opponents into, MKD and MKA had stage transitions & death traps, MK Vs DC had freefall & test your might stage mechanics, and MK9 had stage fatalities, and MKX-MK11 had stage interactables, brutalities and fatalities. It would be cool if you ranked MKDA or MKD stages as they have a lot going on.

Tbh I like all the stages in vanilla MK12 , but I prefer thinking the day time stages of Outworld is Edenia, but its disappointing that we don't have stage fatals in any of them, as for the music I think its good.

MY IDEA : M2K RETURN OF THE GODS. . The game opens to mk1 reality in a peaceful state . But out of no where there is a white flash . Family reach for siblings. Loves embrace one another. There is a feel of panic . And then darkness. In the background you hear gen khan laughing. Then there is a spark in the darkness. The spark turns into a door . Through the door walks, god fugin, evil God Raiden, god shinnock, blaze, and now God kahn. Behind them is there army that has been pulled out of the destroyed realities. Among the army warriors like noob saibot, skarlet, jade, Kotal Kahn, bug bitch, goro, ermac,kano, havik, and baraka follow. They are despret to survive at any cost. God Kahn, due to his help in freeing the gods is given the world and allowed to remake it in his image. The world is a much darker version of mk1. Kahn brings back his enemies . The once allie sorcerors as well. Wipes all there minds , and enslaves them for his amusement. There lives are dark. They are broken beings. The good guy roster would consist of scorpion, sub zero, kung low, cage, reptile, jax,Lei mei, ashra, Sonya, tremor, a now human Lou kane, Kitano, Melina, sydell. A male bo ra chow , who was somehow protected by the reboot of realities comes to these found heros and wakes them up to this not being the real them. An army is formed as well as a plan . To not just take the the current regime of God kahn , but to bring down the false gods and either reform reality, or end it . All that matters I take control from those in power. It will be found out that Raiden is a double agent who saved bo ra chow , so that he could wake up the heros . God Kahn and his fellow gods and army are challenged to mortal kombat. Bo ra chow and Raiden lead a team vs the team of gods . Winner take all. What was can not exist again. If gods win, Raiden and his team will be wiped out . But if Raiden wins a new reality will be made. A chance for peace gangs in the balance. No more dei agendas. Characters will die. Choose your side. After this, everything will change. This would have a 30 man base roster with zero cameos

I would say I like all of these stages, but my big problem with them and and MK1 as a whole, is that for the first time in the franchise they are completely static, serving just as beautiful backgrounds. It just doesn't feel natural for an MK game, the stages have always had significance, offering traps, fatalities, brutalities or interactables.

Good ranking👍 I agreed with half of these stages. I think what would make these stages better is if we had stage fatalities and stages from past Mortal Kombat games. Like for example: We could get⬇️ Deadpool Dark Prison from MK Deception Evil Tower (Day & Night Variant) Portal from MK Deception & Deadly Alliance (Red & Blue Variant) Sarna Ruins from Deadly Alliance (it would be nice to have a desert themed stage) Living Forest (Night Variant) Sky Temple (we should get a rainy stage) (not counting tea house rainy variant) At least an Edenian stage would do.
