I got the Oxford Originals and love them. Single layer aramid jeans have really come on since years ago. 34” leg maximum though, so no good for you probably.
Hi, I am from AUstria and want to order Hoods. I have big problems with bike jeans. My Levis 501 fits 32/32 perfect. My Rokkertech tapered 32/32 is very thight at wais/hip BUT at ankle, too much so jean once get up on the bike does not go down again. So my question is (as hood charges 50 extra taxes for non UK), how is sizing for K7 - similar to 501?
@@callumleakfilms No, not if you want proper protection. All the protective stuff traps heat unfortunately. Once you're up to speed of course, not so much of an issue. But walking/sitting around in the summer, it sucks.

Thanks for this
Cheers mate, good, honest video - no BS, safe riding. ps - how does the armor feel when you are on your bike?
Very comfortable. The only con is the heat in the summer, multi-layer fabrics and the armour pieces.
@@Panzerlang yeah but still better than full leather I guess if only on the road for a sunday ride
@@Panzerlang was gonna ask, I got a used pair thinking they were going to be good for summer. Is there any alternative?

@@Panzerlang Ok, good to know, will have to bring a spare pair of trousers with me 😂
