I think the biggest reason alot of people are mad is because they relate to Dany very much. In the sense she started from the bottom under someone else thumb then in the name of "saving others and herself" became one of the biggest villains of the show. Rarely people want to think of themselves as the villains or the underdog becoming the villain because it is tragic

After all, she was a tyrant who began without dragons, warriors, and an army, that's why no one noticed her tyranny up until she slaughtered the people of King's landing. Small mercy She said? NO.
